Yearly family vacation

This was our third year at this property and can’t count how many years we have been going to the north end of Va beach. This house is a home and the location is just perfect. Comfortable, clean, close to the beach, and everything your family might need for vacation.

Beautiful home in the perfect location

We loved Laurie's home in the North End. Clean, spacious, and steps away from the beach. Great communication from Laurie. Also, plenty of off-street parking. We will definitely stay here again.

Best Place in VA Beach

Perfect family beach vacation spot

We loved our stay here. The home is beautiful, clean and spacious. Can’t beat the location right by the beach entrance, on a quiet street and stretch of beach, but quick drive to shops and restaurants. The home was stocked with everything you may need. Listing is accurate and we would highly recommend!

Stunning place and amazing location

Place was stunning, furnished to feel like home and with room for everyone to relax. Steps from beach where you have endless pristine shoreline. Owners were quick to respond with any questions. Would definitely come back again!

This house is amazing! In a beautiful quiet area with access to the beach just past the front yard. Plenty of space for everyone. The owners were easily accessible for any questions we had.

Yearly family stay in Va Beach

I love the North End and this house is great for our family. Easy beach access. Well stocked. Up to date. We were able to work for a week and vacation for a week and have everything we need.

Great space for big family

We absolutely loved our stay here. Our big family had plenty of space to sleep and to hang out. The decor is lovely and the house had all the amenities we needed. I would recommend a second bike since folks usually travel in pairs. Luckily we had local family that loaned us one so it was great!

Perfect retreat!

This is our second stay at this lovely home! We have already booked it for next year too! Laurie and Jeff have thought of everything. It is beautifully appointed and well stocked. A perfect get away!

We had a fantastic week at Shorehaven! A really beautiful home with a great lay out! Well stocked kitchen. Accommodated our family of 4 as well as the few extra kids that we had most nights. Going to the beach was a breeze with the beach cart and outdoor shower! Hope to return next year!

The house exceeded our expectations. It truly is beautiful and the location could not have been better. We rented ShoreHaven to attend a wedding. We will be renting again soon to enjoy the beach. The house is immaculate and incredibly well maintained. The layout is very open with a lot of spaces for everyone. The hardest decision is what spot to enjoy next. Only regret is that we were unable to stay longer.

Our stay was amazing. The space was perfect for all of us. The ages of our party ranged from 21-97. We could not have asked for more. The house had everything we needed, including an elevator. The beds were comfortable, and all of our kitchen needs could not have been better accommodated for. The outside living space was perfect including the hot tub. We were but a stones throw from the beach. The final comment from the the neighbors was the best acknowledging that we were the most respectful and quietest wedding party that they lived next too. Oh if I could do it all over again. I would not change a thing. Laurie was able to answer any questions that I might have had, although few, she was able to answer each. Family reunion!

This property is beautiful. We enjoyed the spacious living room and comfortable decor. The kitchen is well equipped and modern. Master bedroom is very large with a great walk in shower. Our group came from AZ, OH, and PA for a historic family reunion.

Summer Fun

We loved this beautifully adorned house in the North End. Access to the beach was easy and the shed was full of gently used water and sand toys. We enjoyed dining in (Dough Boys and EAT) and out at Dockside and Waterman's. All conveniently driveable. Due to the heat wave and high humidity we did not spend any time on the patio and the hot tub is listed as “swim” at your own risk so we passed. We loved seeing dolphins right off the beach every day! You can also get to the state park easily walking a few blocks down. There is an A and B listing on the property - the other guests were quiet and respectful. Driveway parking only. ❤️🐬🏖

Because we love Virginia Beach so much, we bought a beach home in our own town! My husband is a builder who completely renovated this home and I as an interior designer did the interiors.

Why they chose this property

The North End is the most prestigious and sought after neighborhood in Virginia Beach, and this home is steps from the beach. It offers privacy and many entertaining possibilities, while also giving guests a truly coastal Virginia experience.

What makes this property unique

We renovated this home so that one day we could retire here and entertain our grand kids! We are on the ocean side so my sweet grand children will not need to cross busy Atlantic Ave. and has an elevator should we become unable to do stairs.
