Dear Anthony, Thank you again for staying with us and for your loyalty. We don’t usually allow our guests to check in until the house is completely ready for them, but since you are a repeat guest, I figured it was easier for you to check in and let the housekeeper finish cleaning rather than have to hang out elsewhere for four hours. We try to keep the property up to date, and if there are suggestions that you may have that will help us improve, I certainly would like to hear them. It is a wonderful feeling when our guests evaluate our work. Not a single suggestion is ever ignored, and what we would personally expect when we go on vacation is what we offer for our guests. Meeting our guests' expectations is our main goal. When we receive such a great review from one of our guests, we know we are going in the right direction. We really appreciate our guests and are thankful that out of the many vacation rentals and hotels available to them, they have chosen to stay with us. This review seems to be the icing on the cake. We have had many renters to our property and we have never come across such malicious people. When these guests arrived, there was a power outage. The power outage had nothing to do with the property or ourselves, it was the electric company. They arrived at 11 pm and stayed up all night drinking and partying. The next day we saw first thing in the morning that they had broken the glass balcony and the glass desk in one of the rooms. When I mentioned it to the main person in the group, he asked me if I was sure that it wasn't broken from before. This is an owner operated property and if we did not take very good care of it, we would not have all five star reviews. We go out of our way to please our guests and to be very nice to them. In fact, they asked us for money in return for their inconvenience because of the power outage and we gave them back $250 which we are not supposed to do. They continued damaging our property, they broke a wooden chair and they broke a twin size box spring literally in half. When they checked out we noticed that the screen to the lcd which was on the wall on top of the desk had something wrong with the screen. Sure thing, when we turned it on, the tv was also damaged. The main person in the group, each time I mentioned that something damaged, responded that this was the reason that he had insurance. When I filed the claim for the insurance today, in which I did not even claim everything, he immediately sent me a message questioning the box spring damage and the lcd damage. I sent him the pictures and he said he was sorry. Next thing I saw was this review which is nothing but a lie. If you all are officers, nurses and counselors, all I have to say to you is: What goes around comes around.

It is my goal to please my guests in every way possible, snd when I read a review like this, I feel like all my prayers have been answered. I am extremely happy to hear that you had such a wonderful stay and cannot thank you enough for choosing to stay at my property. Needless to say, you and your friends will always be welcome st Casa Cristal.

Dear Aeisha, thank you for your review and comments about your stay. We all try very hard to make sure our guests are satisfied and all their needs are taken care of. As far as the cleanliness, I am very surprised in a negative way if your comment. First, let me correct you in saying we need a cleaning team. We do have a cleaning team that cleans the house thoroughly before check in, but of course only one housekeeper during your stay., no one would like to have several paying in their house all day cleaning around while they are on vacation. As far as mildew smell, there is a lot of humidity in Costa Rica and if there are no windows in the area (as the one you are referring to) sometime that happens, but I assure you it is not due to lack of cleanliness. Nevertheless I will see to it that this is taken care of. I really appreciate you and all of our guests and thank you again for choosing to stay at my property..
