Home is well taken care of, with beautiful landscaping & stylishly decorated. Recommend for renters that appreciate & respect a beautiful home, filled with nice furniture, antiques & fun decor, along with other nice things throughout the home…
Comfortable beds, made up with nice fresh linens & fluffy towels.
Large newly remodeled kitchen, fully stocked & ready to cook & entertain.
Large downstairs family gathering room off of pool deck with private bathroom.
Newly built walk in private outdoor shower plus an open-air shower.
Home is on boat marina & boat ramp where you can tie up your water toys on my property, and fish off the dock.
Just a block away from Jamaica Beach park & REC center with neighborhood pool that has basketball hoops and playground for young children to play.
Just 10 Blocks from Jamaica Beach, which you can drive your vehicle or golf-cart on.

Enjoyed a family beach vacation with our 3 adult children and their spouses 3 young grandchildren. Very nice second home & beautiful backyard. Good location, close to canal & beach. House was fully stocked with cooking & grilling supplies, comfortable beds for all and good seating areas. Traci was very responsive to the few questions/ requests we had.

Beautiful home, peaceful stay

Our stay was perfect! We had several disabled people with us and the temperature and layout was perfect. The pool is beautiful, slide was usable for everyone. Lots pf things to admire in the yard, bottles, shells, mermaids and a family of bunnies.

Excellent stay

We stayed at the property for several days over the Fourth of July holiday. The house is great and the backyard is fantastic. The owner is communicative and helpful, and the house was in great shape when we arrived. The neighborhood was mostly quiet, even on a holiday weekend. Overall, a very pleasant stay.

Extremely Clean and very relaxing!

Beautiful property and having a pool definitely worth it. The room downstairs for teenagers was perfect. The place was so clean and very cozy. The host was very communicative and friendly. She puts a lot of effort into making your stay enjoyable.

Couldn’t rate this property better! We love our stay at Pearl Basin and cannot wait to go back! We our repeat visitors and have loved every stay! Kids enjoy the pool, adults enjoy the outdoor entertaining and grill - so close to the beach with a great kitchen, bedrooms and bathrooms. It’s perfect! Thank you Traci for allowing us to stay!!

Beautiful space felt right at home

We booked Pearl Basin somewhat last minute after our other rental was damaged from the storms and it was a blessing! We wanted a spacious home for our family beach trip we take to Galveston every year. This house was so beautiful from the decor details and to the amazing swimming pool. We really liked that it was pet friendly so we could bring our dogs as well. Traci went above and beyond to accommodate us. We highly recommend this beautiful home!

Our annual Galveston family trip, our second time staying at this amazing property. Traci is friendly and easy to work with as well as very easy to talk to. We spent hours in the pool with our grandkids and was perfect to going into town for dinner, the Pier and Moody Gardens. Thank you for sharing your home.

WOW!!!!!!

Was absolutely the nicest home we have stayed at in a decade of going to Galveston with our family. Very clean, amazingly decorated. Close to the beach and the private pool with so much great seating and gathering places outside. Definitely already thinking of when we can go back. Traci was a pleasure to communicate with also.

First time in at jamaica beach

This house was exactly as described by the listing as well as pictures. Quiet, cozy, and beautiful. There was 4 of us staying and this house had every amenity avaiable. The outdoor pool area was the star of the show as thats where we stayed anytime we were at the actual house. The owner was very easy to deal with and always available with answers. We truly had a great experience at pearl basin.

Great weekend getaway...

This property was perfect for our family weekend getaway. Even though the weather was ultimately impacted by a Hurricane that hit the southern TX coast, we still were able to have a great time at the property. It's clear that the owner put a lot of time and effort into giving it a very unique atmosphere - and it easily stood out from most properties around it. Any questions we had for the owner were answered quickly with zero issues at all. It's definitely a property that I'd recommend to friends/family.

Great Escape

This home is a feast for the eyes every way you turn - inside and out. Every comfort has been carefully thought out. The gardens are full of every kind of succulent imaginable. The ground floor bedroom and outdoor walk-in shower made getting around easy for my 83 father. This is a great escape for adults.

Beautiful Place!

The owner has done an amazing job of creating an oasis in her yard around the pool. We could hang out all day! The kitchen is well stocked with anything you might need to cook. Her home is beautifully decorated creating a feel right at home touch. There is plenty of room for the maximum amount of guests to feel comfortable. We were so blessed to have found her place three years ago and then return again this year. We look forward to another return trip!

Jamaica Beach - September 2020

A spacious, comfortable and well appointed property, close to the bay canal, and a short ride to the gulf beach. It has a nice clean and good sized swimming, in a beautifully planted yard, with plenty of shaded sitting areas. There was one small issue with blocked sink, which the owner had fixed in a timely manner. Otherwise it was great trip, which we enjoyed very much. Traci is great host.

Fantastic house!

We had the best weekend! The house was absolutely perfect for our family. We had room to spread out which was perfect. It was a great location. The pool was wonderful. Everyone from adults down to the toddlers loved the slide! We enjoyed the outdoor decks and patio day and night. The house is beautifully decorated and so comfortable at the same time. The owner was very helpful and quick to respond when I had questions. Sorry Traci for all the questions! We had no problems at all. All the kids wanted to stay longer. We Will definetly stay here again.

Excellent house

Excellent house and location. Host is a very nice lady. Very strict on the max amount of personnel as well as vehicles on property. There was a false accusation one day on us exceeding the amount which was a little odd. It just confirmed that the outter cameras are definitely being monitored. Overall the house is awesome but I personally wouldn’t stay there again. Just my .02.

Amazing Getaway

The house and pool were more than we expected. Probably the nicest backyard in Jamaica Beach with a tiki hut, bbq smoker, big/clean pool with a waterslide and gorgeous foliage. The house had everything we needed to cook and relax and enjoy the weekend. Very close to many access points on the beach, some were more crowded than others but a little south we were able to find a nice, semi-secluded area. Great little coffee shop and food near the corner store, which also was nicely stocked for basic needs. Great experience and highly recommend. Possibly bring your own meats/food down in a cooler as Kroger is about a 15 minute drive- not bad at all though. Highly recommend!

I enjoy the outdoors by the water, and feel very relaxed @ Pearl Basin.
I have personally refinished many pieces of the furniture in my new home. Not to mention designed the new bathrooms and Kitchen. I did all the decor as well. I am very passionate about my new project, and hope to share it with people that will take care of it and appreciate all my hard work. This home is not meant for those who want to party & have a wild time. It’s meant for small families that want to relax, cook, swim & enjoy a nice classy ambiance.

This property is a large home, to accommodate a small gathering comfortably. It is nicely decorated with a fun eclectic seashore vibe . Along with all new bedding, soft fresh sheets & towels and a fully stocked new kitchen for those who love to cook & entertain.
It's a perfect place for a girls get-away, or fishermen that want to drop their boat in boat slip & dock their boat in slip next to house for their stay.. Also recommend for families with older children that love outdoor activities…

What makes this property unique

Enjoy beautiful sunsets off of breezy balcony overlooking large pool, surrounded by beautiful lush gardens, along with the wetlands & canal on one side of house… and on opposite balcony enjoy beautiful sunrise over the basin, while watching the boats drop in right off my property, and enjoying your water toy as well.
Lot's of wide open spaces set in a lush tropical environment which puts one in a relaxing vacation mode.
This property is surrounded by water, tropical palms & flowers, a thatched hut that sits 9 to 10 people, along with a large counter bar & outdoor sink great for cooking & entertaining. Wide open skies to enjoy mother nature, so If you love the stars & moonlit nights, sounds of palm trees rustling in sea breezes, this is the place for you!
Also a great place to drop a kayak, or paddle board in for a nice ride on the water to see all sorts of wildlife on pretty water. Or fish off the dock, and then take a bike ride towards the bay to catch a beautiful sunset. And just 10 blocks away from the beach...
