Gorgeous beachfront condo in pointe west! 'LICENSE TO CHILL' features three bedrooms and two baths, this vacation residence is the perfect place to enjoy your pointe west vacation. It is located on the second level which allows you to easily enjoy the beautiful beachfront view from the living or dining space in this open floor plan condo and is just a short walk to the Beach Club.

This condo offers: a king bedroom, a second king bedroom, and a third bedroom with two twin over full bunk beds making this condo ideal for couples or two small families vacationing together. Sleeps 9 comfortably. 2 High Def LED TV's, WIFI, NEWLY FURNISHED living room nicely decorated, a fully stocked kitchen makes it easy to prepare a dinner and entertain guests at the same time. , Everything you need for a great vacation!
A storage locker is provided with this unit.

Pointe West is a privately owned resort community on the western tip of Galveston Island, located approximately 30 minutes from The Strand & other great Galveston attractions. You will have exclusive access to our beach that is clean & groomed regularly offering you a perfect spot to relax & unwind, away from the crowds.

The Pointe West Beach Club is a privately owned facility and offers resort style amenities for guests who choose to purchase access. Use of these amenities is optional.
Resort Fee: $25 per person (ages 4+), per stay. *Beach club policy only allows 3 amenity bands per bedroom. It includes use of:
• Beach Club pool and seasonally heated Bayside pool with lazy river
• Hot tubs
• Basketball & Pickleball court and a modest game/exercise room
• Seasonal family activities are offered throughout the year.
• The Pointe Restaurant opens seasonally for lunch and dinner.

The Beach Club will email an invoice directly to you. After payment, wristbands may be picked upon arrival at the Beach Club Office, open daily from 9 AM–5 PM.
Please note: The resort fee is nonrefundable, so we recommend waiting until closer to your arrival before purchasing.

Important: We manage the rental home only. We do not oversee the Beach Club, its amenities, the restaurant, pools, beach access, or elevators. Refunds and/or cancellations are not given for any closures they may experience.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
•     Check in: 4 PM
•     Check out: 10 AM
•     Guests may enjoy the beach and Beach Club amenities before check in and after check with wristband purchase.
•     All condos are accessible by stairs or elevator. If elevators are out of service, stair access will be required.
No refunds or alternative accommodations are provided for elevator outages.
•     Minimum age requirement: 26+
•     No prom, graduation, or high school groups, even with chaperones.

CANCELLATION POLICY:
*31 or More Days Prior To Your Date of Arrival: A full refund will be issued less a $100.00 administrative fee and the Travel Insurance premium, if purchased.
*Cancellations 30 Days or less: No refunds or transfer of dates.

TRAVEL INSURANCE:
Is OFFERED for purchase when you secure your vacation reservation. Travel Insurance is coverage that can help protect you from losses from unexpected events that may occur. The hurricane season starts June 1 and ends November 30. Please review our cancellation as well as Storm and Cancellation Policies carefully! These are located in the rental agreement.

We have stayed here multiple times and it is always great. We love the location with the view of the private beach and within walking distance to the pool. Also enjoy that it is a corner unit with shaded afternoons on the balcony. It is always clean, well equipped and comfortable.

All aspects were as advertised or better! We scoured location for future trip with Grandkids and found everything we hoped for. Quiet and secluded area. Great for being away from the Seawall bars and restraints. Can still get there when we want to. Plenty of amenities and the sunrise view was magic.

Great Family Beach Getaway

We had a great time staying at "License 2 Chill." Property is clean, well-appointed, and has amazing unobstructed views of water. Location is close to beach walkover and basketball court. We enjoyed the amenities that Pointe West has to offer, including both pools and gift shop. Would definitely return to this property again in the future.

Had a great stay at this condo, had everything we needed, nicely decorated and comfortable. Nice views of the beach and surrounding area. A little too windy to take advantage of the nice balcony but that's the chance you take in the spring.

Great location-Ocean Front. Many condos are described as Ocean Front but "License 2 Chill" had the BEST VIEW. Family enjoyed the amenities at Pointe West - POOL, HOT TUB and GYM. The condo was very CLEAN and the host was very RESPONSIVE to our questions. We will book again.

We love Pointe West!

This is such a great location to vacation. The beach is beautiful and clean. The condo is spacious and accommodating for our 2 families, 3 kiddos and one infant. It is the furthest walk to the pool which we didn’t like as much and the walkways to the beach didn’t have ramps for our beach carts and strollers but it was still doable and totally worth it anyway!

Great beach rental

I have stayed at this property several years ago. I love the new updates!!! Furniture is so nice and comfortable, new paint, new bedding, lots of extras in the kitchen. I stay at Pointe West every summer and have been in many of the rentals. This one is definitely at the top of the list 🥰

The decor is stylish and comfortable. There were some basic supplies that were lacking though - 4 wine glasses, 1 roll of paper towels, 2 rolls of toliet paper and 6 towels for a 3 bedroom condo that sleeps 8 is just insufficient.

Phenomenal view and location

This was an absolute pleasure. We had a blast and truly were able to relax and enjoy our time on the beach. The hosts were great and very responsive. My only note is that the elevator was down for 2 days. I had elderly family members that were limited in what we could do. But otherwise, this was a fantastic stay!

Long Mother’s Day wet

We go to Galveston every year. This was one of our favorite times. The property was very far down the island, almost to San Luis pass, but being that far away from the city was wonderful. We spent most of our time on the balcony listening to the waves and relaxing. It’s a 30 to 40 minute drive to most of the restaurants, so we went grocery shopping and did some cooking. It was so relaxing, we hated to leave to come back to daily work. We definitely will rent this place again!

Great unit —Relaxing

Pre Thanksgiving trip to get away. Enjoyed the unit. Well appointed with comfortable beds and furniture. Loved that it had 2 king beds! Only thing I would suggest is changing the shades on the afternoon sun side in the living area. Sun gets very bright in the living area and that side of the patio. Might be good to have an outdoor curtain as well? Otherwise unit was great, loved the porch and easy walk down to the beach.
