We had a lovely stay, beautiful garden our dogs loved it, very well equipped. One thing to note access to the driveway is a bit tight.

Thankyou for your review, it's much appreciated. Great to know that you had a lovely stay and that your dogs loved exploring the garden .
I reverse into the driveway which makes leaving and entering easier. There are no parking restrictions on the roadside opposite the cottage if guests don't want to use the driveway parking.

Liked: Check-in, communication
Disliked: Cleanliness, listing accuracy
The property needed a good clean, plates, dishes & cutlery were dirty so had to wash everything before we could use it. The kitchen cupboards were dirty, the floors were dirty and needed a good clean & mop. The beds were really uncomfortable- when I stripped the beds on our departure the mattress protector and pillow protectors hadn’t been washed in a while. Really disappointed as we stayed 4 years ago and was a lot better.

I've spoken to the cottage cleaner who looks after the cottage. He cleaned before your visit, he did nothing differently to the usual cleaning. The previous review was 3days prior to your stay, they gave 10/10 and said the place was spotlessly clean ,also how comfortable the bedding was.Guests often comment how clean the cottage is and kindly leave good reviews. I'm very happy with the job he does .
I'm surprised that you say the cutlery and dishes and kitchen cupboards were dirty , they were thoroughly cleaned recently.
I'm sorry that you were disappointed.
This was our second visit to this cottage, which is pet-friendly. Communication with the owner was brilliant, responding really quickly. We love this property & hopefully we will return later in the year. Would recommend.

The village was a lovely place to stay in. Good location for exploring the coast line. The accommodation was adequate but I would have liked to know before hand that the bathroom was on the ground floor
Enjoyable short stay, good choice for a last minute break. This comfy cottage is in a good position, enjoyed relaxing in the garden. Lovely walks on the cliff tops (only 1 mile from the cottage).

You are very welcome to stay again.
Had a lovely stay - enjoyed walking to all the beaches along the cliff path. Great location for bird watching at Bempton cliffs. I don’t have a garden at home so it was a real treat for me and my dog loved it! Thanks for a great break!

Thankyou for your lovely review.
Great to know that you and your dog enjoyed the garden so much.
The cottage is lovely and spotlessly clean. It’s very homely and has everything you need for your stay. The kitchen was well equipped but we only had breakfast there as there are some lovely places nearby to eat out. There is a pub down the road and a Co op also nearby. The garden was loved and enjoyed by us and our two dogs.
