Hello Lesley, I'm really glad your holiday went well and you enjoyed the quality of the accommodation. I'm sorry for the heat but this period was really scorching and it is difficult to cool the day. Fortunately, it is possible to make a draft in the evening and spend a night at the level of the outside temperature. But when it is close to 25 degrees, there is not much to do except install air conditioning, but this is not in keeping with the times with global warming. See you next time I hope. Sincerely, Eric

Hello Anika, Glad you enjoyed your stay. For information, the dishwasher worked well. Simply leave the RESET position for a few seconds and then choose the washing mode. You never know if you want to come back next time... It is true that it is not very intuitive. Good for you Eric

Friendly host, great location

The apartment is convenient and comfortable for a family holiday by Lac Annecy. Situated in a quiet little village with a wonderful boulangerie and a handy little supermarket. Nice for bathing and walks. Monsieur Bernhardt is a considerate and conscientious host who responds quickly to all request and questions you may have.

Spotlessly clean and in a beautiful village, close to the water and to amenities such as a shop and fantastic boulangerie. From the terrace you can see the lake. The home is well equipped, and the communication and support from the host was excellent. There were toys for our young child (8 months old) and she really enjoyed playing with the mega blocks. The internet and TV are good. The local beach is nice and not too far away. There are walking trails from the doorstep. We found the stairs difficult to navigate on arrival with large bags and a baby, but once unloaded it was manageable. Unfortunately the heat became almost unbearable in the main bedroom even with all the windows open and two fans going. The bedroom window being open meant the blind couldn't be down, so the baby would struggle to sleep with the heat and then wake up early with the sun.Overall it's a great location and a good apartment. We would consider staying again, but perhaps not with a young baby who needs cooler sleeping temperatures and dark rooms.
