This has been an all woman retreat space for creativity, spirituality and/or enjoy a vacation, designed to seek a holistic experience. Space and mats for yoga offered. Or you can chill with lots of space and comfort, indoor and outdoors.
This offers a spectacular panorama view of a private 55 acre lake, secluded with privacy. The cottage is under umbrellas of shade with the night jungle sounds of all the creatures hidden. This is a custom-built cabin of a recycle historical materials, uniquely furnished. A shared kitchen with Kathleen is optional as she has her separate quarters. She encourages healthy foods and a great kitchen to perform in.
The Sanctuary is in a quiet and friendly neighborhood. It is ideal for nature lovers, walkers and kayaking. We don't engage on politics nor religion, but on valuable conversations and sharings, TV is out of the picture. Instead I encourage meditation musical percussion circles for healing entertainment from time to time.
I gratefully offer my home studio with exotic features and has been a popular retreat spot for guests from all over the world. I accept guests of whom are on the same page and path, as a way to enhance community living.

Serenity

To try and put into words my experience is near impossible. I was needing a place to decompress, to recharge my inner self, and was blessed with finding this beautiful home. As soon as I drove up, I immediately went to the back deck and just sat in awe at the beauty. I didn't unpack until an hour later. The smell of the wood, the air, the warmth, cannot be described. I was at home with myself. This place is truly a treasure. And there are two wonderful towns to explore during the day, very near, with wonderful coffee, gourmet salads, and antiques. Looking forward to returning soon.

What makes this property unique

Offering Long or Short Term for casual living and for those who can endure the summer heat, yet your room is AC. The gallery spacious room is not AC but has high ceiling and fans which brings back the country vibes.
Walk a trail in the wood is around the lake and throughout the community is great. One must be ok, with the normal creatures of the woods.
Being in a sweaty summer season one can experience with an outdoor shower!
You are also near several unique towns with simple entertainments going on, like
NuNu Art & Culture Collective Gallery, in Arnaudville. I benefit having a great community of like minds to social and just hang out. We are FUN bunch. (google)
