These gentlemen were well trained by their mothers or wives. They did an awesome job of cleaning up after themselves. We look forward to their return.
We loved our country get away. Upon our arrival Norm gave us a tour and suggestions of area restaurants. We awoke each morning enjoying breakfast while looking over the river. Ended the day with campfires, star gazing and the peace and tranquillity of the country. On our last night we also met Sue and she to joined us in conversations of the history of their family and Vrbo. Thanks for hosting and sharing with us-will definitely return.Lynn, Donny and Amy

Great location to bike the Old Abe Trail and visit Brunet Island State Park. The hosts were welcoming and flexible. Loved being right on the river too. Lots of space in the cabin. From 178 cross the bridge to K...

We look forward to seeing Scott and whom ever he brings with him every year. They have been great guests.
Cottage was clean and comfortable. Hosts were super welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. The A/C unit could use an upgrade or another one added to the cottage as it had a hard time cooling the space. There to fish and caught Catfish, Perch and Bass.
We have been staying here every year for a while now. Great location! Water access and bike trail access is awesome to have. The owners are so very friendly. Love staying here!

The cottage does look a bit older from outside but inside was clean and cozy.
Great relaxing stay. Great sunsets and very quiet place. Fishing for smallmouth bass was super on the Chippewa River. If you need to relax and have a peaceful trip this is the place to go!

For two men that rented the cottage, I couldn't have wanted a cleaner place when they checked out. It was as clean as when they checked in. We really enjoyed their company.
Kelly and her party are always welcome. We're happy to see them come back every year.

Perfect base for music festival
Short drive from festival grounds, but far enough away to get a break from masses of people.

About the host
Hosted by Norm and Sue Peters
My wife and I are originally from Ladysmith, WI, which is about 30 miles north on highway 27. My father bought the cottage shortly after we got married. We lived in it for about 3 years before we built our own home next door. When my parents passed away, we inherited the property. We rented it on an annual basis until the last renter nearly destroyed it. I decided we would try the 'rent by the week' idea and see how it went. We are still fairly new at this and consider all suggestions to improve the cottage.
Why they chose this property

What makes this property unique
