The apt was clean and well furnished. It was in a very convenient location. so nice to have parking. The kitchen has a microwave, mini fridge, coffee maker, electric teapot and a sink. The kitchen is well equipped.
Fantastic stay and location to USF. Howard is an amazing host that takes great pride in his property. Great communication. Bed is super comfortable and accurate postings.
Lots of shops for eating nearby. Safe neighborhood. Host greeted us on the 1st day and said he was available for any help. Luckily we didn’t need any. Great place.
This property was not described well in the advertisement. It is an apartment in a room within the garage space. The apartment door ONLY has a lock on the outside, meaning you CANNOT lock your things up, or could be locked INSIDE if someome with malicious intent decided to. The owner refused a refund when we realized the reality of these accommodations.

You arrived an hour early and immediately complained to VRBO. They called me and I said I would be home in an hour and could help you solve the locking problem. You refused to speak to me. Actually, the garage is separated from the apartment by a stairway and a landing. In any case, the door has a keyed lock; the key was included with the instructions, but you apparently didn't figure that out. I'm sorry you had such a bad experience.
The host greeted my family in person and made sure they had everything they needed. When a massive power outage in the city took out most of the surrounding blocks, he made sure we had flashlights and candles, just in case the rental might lose power (it didn't, by some twist of good fortune). It was the perfect location for us, and the stay was seamless.
Great location, comfy accomodations and our host was superb -giving us guides to local food and sights that were absolutely perfect. Highly recommend! Having a garage parking spot was a super bonus.
Wonderful location on a quiet street. Walking distance to several good restaurants. The apartment is spacious and the bed is very comfortable. Howard is a great host; easy to reach and very responsive. We loved having the garage /driveway to park in so had no worries about parking.
Such a cute neighborhood, very walkable, felt very safe. My biggest complaint would be that its not very soundproof and the pillows on the bed were not very comfortable.

There are seven pillows available all told, two big and firm, the others smaller and softer; I'm sorry you couldn't find one that worked for you.
By "not very sound proof," I guess you mean that you didn't hear street sounds, or the elevator, or screaming in the corridor, or the neighbor's loud music, but the little sounds of the ceiling of an old house creaking when I walked barefoot on the floor.... Sorry.
Kitchen setup was perfect for snacks and water bottle storage. We mostly ate out or went to the local coffee house for our morning coffee. Parking was excellent, especially for smaller cars. House was extremely clean. We have nothing negative to say.
Comfortable clean small place, great location, wonderful, helpful host!
