Live in The Garden of Eden in an Urban Environment.

Fabulous north and east bay views, sunny, modern Furnished 2 Bedroom, 1 Bath private 2nd floor located in a landmark 2 unit, 3 story building 4 blocks from SF Bay on the north slope of Russian Hill. The private VRBO space is 1000 square feet. It has a large panoramic view living room, full view dining room, 2 bedrooms with queen and 2 twin pillow top beds, remodeled bathroom with jacuzzi bath, ultra modern remodeled kitchen. Double Pane soundproof windows. Cable TV, DVD,WiFi available. Large outdoor north facing Alcatraz view deck (25ft x 8 ft). Access to large back yard and beautiful garden.

Note: This private VRBO space is part of the owners living space when not used as a VRBO short term rental space.

1 indoor garage car parking available for additional charge.

Weather permitting, a flock of the 'Wild Parrots of Telegraph Hill' stops by at 3pm every day.

Additional Disclosures:
The view is great because of the 45 steps you will need to climb from the street. There is also a step up jacuzzi tub in the bathroom. Also there are a couple of cats, raccoons, skunks, and parrots that make the rounds outside the property, just in case you have severe allergies to animals. No pets/animals have been allowed in the rental unit, so it has always been pet/animal free. However if you have severe allergies to cats, you SHOULD NOT stay here!

The unit is cleaned on a basic cleaning (not Clean Freak) standard before arrival of guests. If you are a "Clean Freak white glove inspection” type who likes to look for flaws in the unit and not disclose them to me within 24 hours of arrival so I can correct any issues, and rather disclose such issues 1 week later to satisfy your desire to be an “internet critic” or try to extract a subsequent discount on the daily rate, then please DO NOT stay here.

A great find

We needed a place with a good kitchen to cook for Thanksgiving, and Robert's place was perfect. The kitchen was amazingly well equipped, the views were spectacular, and the couch and TV made for great football watching. Robert was a charming host and very communicative. And obviously, a great location.

Like staying at home, with an awesome view

If you love staying in cozy, whimsical places with ahhh-mazing views, this is the place. You will feel like you are staying at a friend's home, and their home is your home. The hosts are very attentive and are on site or a phone call away if you need anything. Best shower pressure I've had in my life. YES! I did see the parrots :) Thank you!!

Great for families

Robert’s place was a great fit for what we needed. We had 3 adults and two small children- being able to have everyone stay in one unit with 2 separate bedrooms and sitting area, as well as a full kitchen was a great set up for us. The rate for those amenities in this super location made it such a great deal. Regarding kiddos, Robert had a pack-n-play, which was really great. We did need to do a bit of kid-proofing, but Robert was accommodating there.

What a view!

My husband and I were joined by our grown daughter and my mother for a long weekend. This is an ideal location and the unit worked perfectly for our group. It’s a lot of steps but we were prepared for that and the view makes it well worth the climb. There are groceries a few blocks away and tons of restaurants close by. Cable cars, street cars and ferries are close as well. Rob is an ideal host as he’s eager to answer questions and offer suggestions if you need. And then there are the parrots that visit his feeders daily. Getting to see the parrots close up made us all smile. We feel lucky to have stayed here. Thanks for the hospitality, Rob!

Quick weekend stay in SF

The location of the property was excellent with sweeping views of the bay and Alcatraz. Rob, the property owner currently resides above the rented floor. He is very involved in the introduction and entry to the residence and offers many insights into the safety of the surrounding area. Also note, that he shares the same Wi-Fi network as what's offered so keep that in mind for anyone who requires extensive use of the internet during your stay. Overall I'd recommend this place for those looking to spend most of their time exploring the vicinity, as it's literally just blocks away from Ghirardelli Square, The Buena Vista, Lombard Street, and Fisherman's Wharf. One last thing to note, you will be sharing an entryway with Rob that provides access to both floors of the property, albeit with separate doors for additional privacy.

Unbelievable location! Within easy walking distance to Pier 39, bay cruises, Hop On Hop Off bus stops and trolley cars. The host bent over backwards to help us out when we left some items behind!

When we arrived at the apartment straight away the smell of cat pee welcomed us, robbert wasn't there, Laurie showed us around, the stairs to the apartment is rotten, also the balcony its not a safe place, the carpet is full with marks of cat pee, we never stayed there but went to a hotel near pier 39

Great place to stay in SF

This house is very well located, with a view on the bay, close to bike rental and close from many SF sites by foot.The owner Robert was very helpful and improved our stay with many great tips, he even guide us to the city and to the Golden Gate Bridge.One warning: you need to consider there are numerous animals (especially cats) in the nearby if you are sensitive to odours !

Amazing location and amazing views! My kids loved the ‘secret garden’ and the cats. The flat was well located for all the things we wanted to do. The place has everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. Robert was a welcoming host and checked in to see if we needed anything. The decor is a little dated, but it doesn’t matter because you will be looking out the windows all the time. We would absolutely stay there again!

The views are spectacular from this building. Plus this property was one of the first rebuilt after the earthquake of 1906, and is a classic 'captains' house overlooking the entire San Francisco Bay.
