Charming property and garden

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We spent a week based here to relax and visit the surrounding area. The location is perfect for day trips to Germany or Belgium with some notable destinations locally too such as Maaatricht, Roermond and the theme park Efteling. Ans and Sandor love their property and it shows. Highly recommended for a relaxing time in the countryside and day tripping.

An excellent base for an extended stay

Ans and Sander were the perfect hosts and looked after us extremely well during our five-week stay, ensuring that we had everything we needed. The house is very comfortable, with all amenities and the weather allowed some swims in the pool. There are lots of pretty villages not far, and larger towns with good shopping, plus excellent rail links to visit other Dutch areas and cities (we loved Lingen, Delft and of course, Amsterdam). We will definitely be recommending this gorgeous Dutch home!

The owners of the property were very pleasant & the whole of the accommodation was very clean with good quality fittings & a well equipped kitchen. The parking is secure & we had full access to the lovely garden, in addition the location of the property was ideal for what we wanted. I dislike giving negative reviews, but as reviews have influenced our purchasing decisions on numerous occasions I believe they should be accurate: The advertisement still states there is a washing machine, there is not, Ans offered to do our laundry, but as it did not cause us a problem we declined, but had we been a family it may have been different. In addition there are only three comfortable chairs, again not a problem as there were two of us, but as we have on several occasions previously shared holidays with friends, had there been four of us it would have been an issue. Despite my negativity, my wife & I would not hesitate to return for another holiday.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft, es hat an nichts gefehlt. Der Garten ist traumhaft schön und wir konnten den großen Pool benutzen.Die Gastgeber waren sehr nett und versorgten uns mit frischen Eiern und leckerem Kuchen. Die Unterkunft ist sehr empfehlenswert.

Heerlijk en mooi

Ons verblijf was waar we voor waren gekomen, rust, mooi huisje, omgeving prima en vriendelijkheid van de eigenaren we werden onthaald met koffie en cake, kregen alle nodige informatie en uitleg over hoe en wat. Deze mensen doen er alles aan om gasten het naar hun zin te maken, vragen staat vrij. Er is een knoert van een tuin waar je je helemaal in kan vinden en zeer goed bijgehouden word, een heerlijk zwembad en genoeg zitjes overal. Het huisje was zeer gezellig, keuken prima, bedden voor ons perfect, al met al, SUPER!

Ein kleines Paradies

Das Gästehaus liegt einem großen, liebevoll gestaltenen Garten und verfügt über zwei Terrassen mit jeweils Gartenmöbeln (Tisch und Stühle). Das Haus ist absolut sauber, die Küche mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht (vom Gurkenschäler bis zum Wasserkocher). Die Einrichtung ist neu und ausgesucht schön. Die Treppe in den ersten Stock windet sich mittig zwischen Wohn- und Essbereich nach oben und verleiht dem Wohnambiente einen außerordenlich schönen Charme. Die beiden Schlafräume sind jeweils durch eine Türe zu schließen. Das untere Badezimmer ist sehr geräumig, die Kacheln blitzen. Schön ist, dass es oben eine zweite Toilette gibt. Die Betten haben gute Matratzen (kein Durchhängen). Der Hit ist der saubere und recht große Pool , der sich etwas abgelegen im hinteren Gartenbereich befindet. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das lag aber vor allem auch an den beiden Gastgebern: Ans und Sander empfingen uns warmherzig, gaben uns Tipps bei konkreten Fragen und zu Ausflugszielen, es gab eine Willkommensgetränk und wirklich freundliche Gespräche. Wir haben alles sehr genossen und uns bei unserem Kurzurlaub absolut erholt. Vielen DANK! Wir kommen sicher wieder.

Entspannender Kurzurlaub.

Wir hatten einen sehr entspannenden Aufenthalt und ein tolles, sehr liebevoll zubereitetes Frühstück, an dem nichts fehlte. Die Kinder haben den Pool sehr genossen, wir den Garten.

Huiselijk genieten in fijne omgeving

Erg aardige gastvrouwen en heer. Een schitterend goed verzorgd en gezellig ingericht huis met prachtige ruime badkamer en veel privacy rond het huis. 45 min van Maastricht en 10 min van Roermond. Erg leuk om in Roermond het Cuypershuis te bezoeken. Maar ook met fietsen en wandelen kun je hier je hart ophalen.

We hebben genoten van de locatie en het huisje. Het weer was fantastisch en het zwembad bood een zeer welkome verfrissing in de hete middaguren.

Lovely guest house in the country

We were looking for a small house with a character in the country and it was exactly what we got! The owners are wonderfully welcoming people and are happy to answer any questions or requests one might have. The place is clean, warm and provides plenty of relaxation moments. There's a big green space outside, so it's also great for those that would like to be outside. Lovely trip!

Mooie locatie, super service!

Prachtig gerenoveerd voormalig koetshuis. Geheel vrijstaand in park-achtige tuin. Grote badkamer. Verder alles aanwezig wat je nodig hebt. Super hartelijke ontvangst door de eigenaren met koffie en cake. Wij waren er met oud en nieuw en werden uitgenodigd voor een toast met champagne en een oliebol. Kortom: heerlijke dagen gehad, een aanrader

Ontzettend fijn verblijf

Ans en Sander zijn ontzettend vriendelijk en gastvrij. Een super schoon huis voorzien van alles wat je nodig hebt. Echt een heerlijk verblijf. Ana en sander kunnen je tips geven over de omgeving. Wij komen zeker weer eens hier terug. Bedankt.

Charming guest house in a serene garden

We had a 1-night stay at Ans and Sander's cute guest house. The interior is clean and updated, the bathroom is large. The house is very comfortable for a few nights stay for 2, possibly 3 adults. It could be a bit small if you plan to cook full meals for 4 people. This was late November and the weather was cool, but the house warmed up quickly. We opted to buy the breakfast from the hosts and were pleasantly surprised, you get a lot for your money at this house. The service level and interaction with the hosts is more similar to a bed and breakfast experience, only you have your own house. Ans was the perfect hostess. The lot where the main house and guest house is situated is very large with a serene garden with multiple smaller gardens and lots of song birds. The pool looks big enough for lap swimming, and it's located in a more hidden area of the garden. We had such a short stay, but I really liked sitting in the living room area in the morning, looking at the birds through the large windows. This is the perfect place to decompress if you live in a crowded city. We can imagine ourselves renting this place again when the weather permits pool usage. It is also close to the Roermond outlets which will be great to visit post-Covid.

Prima huis.

De woning is knus en van alle gemakken voorzien. De tuin is groot en schitterend met veel verschillende bomen, struiken en planten. Heerlijk rustgevend en er is veel te zien. De ontvangst door Ans en Sander was bijzonder hartelijk met een zelf gebakken vlaai. Je merkt nauwelijks dat je op het terrein van de eigenaars verblijft. Kortom, een prachtige locatie en woning.
