About this property

La Cimetta Asolo – A Private Home in the Asolo Hills

La Cimetta Asolo is a private home set among the gentle hills of Asolo, in the heart of Veneto: a place for guests who value space, privacy, beautiful landscapes and the freedom to discover this extraordinary part of Italy at their own pace.

This is not simply somewhere to sleep between excursions. La Cimetta is a house to inhabit.

Surrounded by greenery and open views, the property offers generous indoor and outdoor spaces, a private 10 × 5 metre swimming pool, a garden overlooking the surrounding hills and mountains, and quiet corners in which to read, write, think or simply enjoy the changing light throughout the day.

The atmosphere of the house also lends itself naturally to creative work, writing and remote working. Its sense of space, tranquillity and connection with the landscape make it an inviting setting for those who need time to concentrate, develop ideas or continue working while away from home.

From the garden, the view reaches towards Monte Grappa and the mountains beyond. Drive or walk higher into those same landscapes and the perspective changes completely: on clear days, the view can stretch across the Veneto plain towards the Adriatic Sea.

The house is an ideal base for discovering Asolo, Monte Grappa, the Prosecco Hills, historic towns, Venetian villas and the wider Veneto region, while returning each day to the tranquillity of a private home in the countryside.

La Cimetta has been furnished and cared for as a real home rather than as a conventional holiday rental. Guests have the space and independence to settle into their own rhythm, whether that means slow mornings by the pool, exploring local villages and landscapes, visiting Venice and the cities of Veneto, working quietly for part of the day, or simply enjoying dinner at home as evening falls over the hills.

Comfort, practicality and attention to detail are an important part of the experience. The house is intended for guests who travel frequently, appreciate well-considered services and expect the ease and reliability that make a longer stay feel genuinely comfortable.

La Cimetta is particularly suited to guests looking for a peaceful stay, privacy and an authentic connection with the landscape and culture of Veneto.

A private home in the hills, with Veneto unfolding all around it.

About the host

Host profile image
I have the luck of living in one of the most beautiful places in Italy, famous for Prosecco and conveniently located between Venice and the Dolomites.
I love sharing my passion for the area, a take great pleasure in seeing my guests also fall in love with the magic of the Asolo hills.
Other than hosting on Homeaway, I run a company that produces high quality local prosecco and extra virgin olive oil from the groves at the foot of Cima del Pomer.
I look forward to sharing the magic.

Why they chose this property

Villa del Pomer was the family home in the countryside. Our family grew up here surrounded by nature allowing the kids to enjoy the outdoor life while as parents we could relax safe in the knowledge all was well.
After the family had grown up we thought we could share some of that happiness by letting the place to holiday makers so they could taste the Venetian countryside and experience the magic of the Asolo hills.
We still visit our home and it brings back happy times. I am sure that when you leave you’ll have great memories to take back with you.

What makes this property unique

Local restaurants can provide a taste of the real Veneto, and culture can be further savoured in the nearby picturesque hilltop town of Asolo. A twenty minute drive away is the historic town of Bassano, rich in architecture, atmosphere and great for shopping! Valdobbiadene, the home of Prosecco, is also close by and the magic of Venice itself is only an hour away.
