The Racquet Club is a beautiful condo complex on the Atlantic Ocean and steps to the beach. It is uniquely located in a peaceful, lovely area, only a short walk (two tenths of a mile) to the upscale village of Vero Beach where quaint shops and wonderful restaurants abound. The pristine property is beautifully landscaped around the tennis courts, pool and club house providing magnificent views from our oversized balcony which is complete with patio furniture and an electric grill. Our condo has been recently updated--you will have a feeling of warmth and coziness. The master bedroom has a king size bed with views of the ocean and sounds of the surf. The second bedroom contains a queen and single bed. There is a 47" flat screen TV in the living room, a flat screen 'smart' TV in the master as well as a flat screen TV in the second bedroom. Our condo is extremely organized and fully equipped with linens, cleaning supplies, beach items, tennis racquets--and anything we could think of to make your stay a fabulous experience. There is a lovely clubhouse at the Racquet Club equipped with an exercise room, sauna, pool table, library… or a place for get-togethers or just relaxing. In addition to the Racquet Club amenities, you may want to golf at the beautiful local courses. There is also kayaking, paddle boarding, jet skiing, and boating available on the Indian River. You can hike or bike on the historic Jungle Trail or take an Eco or Airboat Adventure tour. On a cultural note, Vero Beach and the surrounding areas have numerous museums and art galleries (Vero Beach was named one of the 100 best art towns in America). Also, Vero Beach is home to the comprehensive Indian River County Library. Nightlife is abundant!! There are many outdoor music events scheduled at Riverside Park, which is the home of the first class Riverside Theater. In addition, there are great local venues to listen to or dance to some very good music as well as enjoy some great jazz. For a fun day or night adventure, you can drive up to Cocoa Beach for a bit of gambling excitement on the Victory Casino Cruise!! We are only 90 minutes to Disneyworld and 150 minutes to Miami. You can now fly directly into Vero Beach Airport on Elite Airways with a stop over in Newark. In addition, Melbourne Airport--40 minutes away, Palm Beach Airport or Orlando Airport--both 90 minutes away. An added transportation feature is the Vero Beach Go-Line. (You can Google it!) This free jitney will take you all over Vero whether it be shopping, dining, movies, beaches, etc. You can actually get by without renting a car if you fly into the VB airport. Vero Beach is a great resort town for all seasons--Never hectic, never dull, always beautiful beaches and palm trees!! The summer is the best kept secret--ocean breezes keep the area very comfortable. Spring and fall are just delightful and of course winter at the Racquet Club is the perfect getaway location.

Amazing stay

We had an amazing stay at this condo in Vero beach. Very comfortable accommodation, perfect location , great views and sounds of the ocean of Vero beach that was easily available to enjoy swimming in, looking at and strolling on the boardwalk that we enjoyed every day The nearby shopping village was full of great shops and restaurants we also enjoyed often and able to easily walk to from the condo Will definitely want to return

Paradise on Vero Beach

Our first time coming to Vero Beach, and I must say we found a gem of a place to stay! We loved being so close to the beach and within walking distance to the quaint village. So many wonderful restaurants, boutique shops & entertainment! Our condo unit was just perfect for us and Joe & Janet were very attentive to all of our needs or questions. Hope we can come back again!

What a wonderful stay we had at the Racquet Club in Vero Beach! This was the first time we’ve been to this area and won’t be our last! The owner of the condo made the entire transaction seamless and easy! The condo itself is super homey and made us feel right at home. The location is superb and the perfect get away! Delightful

If you are looking for a beachfront rental that has all the comforts of home, this is it. Thoughtful touches everywhere. Need a flashlight, tennis racquet, glue? It's here. Owners are wonderful to work with. Location is stellar both for the beach and short walk into town. Kitchen well outfitted and furniture has you considering a nap mid day. A big win!

The Condo is cozy and very comfortable. Joe and Janet are perfect hosts. Your stay and comfort are very important to them and they are very responsive should you have a question or concern. The kitchen has everything you might need As you will read from others, the Racket Club is very close to Vero’s shops and restaurants. The beach and boardwalk are across the street on Ocean Drive and the nearby pool is heated. The view of the Atlantic from the balcony is very pretty and it’s a very pleasant place to relax. PS- the WiFi is most dependable on the balcony.

This is a superb ocean front condo in most every respect. Our best rental ever with VRBO.

Located within easy walking distance to a nice town, full of very good restaurants and shops. Adjacent to the boardwalk which we walked daily. It is quite comfortable, and well appointed. On top of all this, the owners have stocked it better than we have ever experienced. Two small problems came up during our month long stay. Joe and Janet responded and resolved each quickly. The furniture, beds, dining area, etc. are upscale. Not the usual rental furniture. Made us want to protect everything, and keep it clean and unmarred. The weather was very good for the first three weeks, and a bit stormy and cool during the last week. A super public golf facility is a short drive away. The folks at The Racquet Club were most welcoming. They even threw a nice party for the snowbirds! The balcony is spacious and, again, well appointed. We simply enjoyed our stay completely, and hope to return next January.

As soon as we walked in the door we didn't want to leave! It was very welcoming & the view from the living room was superb. There was lots of information about the area & the neighbors were very helpful in telling us about different places to go for dinner (and the best happy hours!!!) Nice clean pool area & never crowded. All in all a great place!

Amazing Place to Stay in Vero Beach

We booked this place after our first (and cheaper) place fell through. It was worth every penny. The view of the ocean, being right above the swimming pool, an easy walk to restaurants and shopping, everything is wonderful. The condo is great, and Joe was fantastic to work with. When we first go there the wifi wasn't working but Joe bent over backwards to work with us and get it going. The kitchen is set up well for cooking. There are beach/pool toys and towels. Everything is perfect. So great that we extended by a few days and are thinking of spending 2 months there next summer.

Perfect location!

This is a beautiful location at the Racquet Club in Vero Beach. The condo is lovely and well equipped with everything we needed. We enjoyed daily sunrises on the large patio and brisk walks on the boardwalk, which is literally right across the street. We appreciated the beach chairs which were provided in the condo for our days sunning at the beach. The short walk to town is great for shopping, breakfast, lunch or dinners. Everyone we met at the Racquet Club was friendly and the owners are just so nice to work with! But, our favorite thing is just the relaxed atmosphere of this lovely little town called Vero Beach.

Located in the Racquet Club condo complex in Vero Beach this very nice two bed, two bath condo is well equipped. The large deck overlooks the pool, tennis courts, Boardwalk (nice walking) and ocean. It is an easy walk into town to enjoy many fine restaurants and shopping. The owners Joe and Janet are very responsive and easy to work with. We had a great time and have reserved it for Jan and Feb of 2017.

A Beautiful Condo and Such Gracious Hosts

My husband and I loved every minute of our October stay at Janet and Joe's Vero Beach condo. They could have not been friendlier or more accommodating. The condo, with its view of the pool and ocean, is lovely with a tasteful, casual and relaxing décor, complete with all the necessary amenities. And its location couldn't have been better - steps to the beach and a pleasant walk to the downtown shops and restaurants. Their recommended restaurants were wonderful. We particularly enjoyed our dinners at The Citrus Grill and the whimsical Kilted Mermaid and we found the bar scene at Havana Nights and the bar at Gloria Estefan's Costa d' Este to be particularly fun and friendly. Breakfast on the beach at the end of the promenade and the lively lunches poolside at Waldo's are not to be missed. Thanks, Janet and Joe for sharing your piece of paradise with us. We will be back!!

Great location for a relaxing month

My wife and I spent the month of April in the Racquet Club condo. It was a wonderful location -- across the street from the beach and boardwalk, an easy walk to downtown shops and restaurants. It was easy to go several days without using the car. The unit was in very good condition and a perfect size for a couple. The tennis courts were well maintained. My wife was drafted into a group of players on our first day. The pool was well used by all and a nice way to meet others in the complex. We would certainly recommend the unit to any couple looking for easy beach and town access.

Great condo!

My husband and I enjoyed our month in this lovely condo and enjoyed all the amenities as the previous reviewer mentioned. The decor is typically Tommy Bahama and furnishings are very comfortable which my back appreciated! We loved the view of the ocean and that the boardwalk and beach access were steps away. Janet and Joe provide beach chairs which we used almost daily. Golfed nearby at Sandridge and used the pool which is also steps away. We dined in on the freshest seafood bought from Joey's but we also enjoyed Vero Beach's wide variety of restaurants. The owners were a pleasure and returned our deposit promptly.

Wonderful vacation spot in Vero Beach

My wife and I, for the first time, decided to take a 30-day vacation and are we glad we did. This condo exceeded every expectation we could imagine. From the tastefully appointed furnishings to the gas grill on the patio, we both couldn't have been happier. This condo is right across the street from the beach with its 1/2 mile boardwalk. Down the road within walking distance are many great shops and restaurants. Each Saturday while we were there, they had a farmer's market that we would walk to, pick up many fresh fruits and vegetables, and visit with all the other friendly folks. From the time we first contacted them to the time we left, Joe and Janet were most helpful. Everything that was supposed to be there was plus lots of other items (a spice rack!) and a stocked kitchen (not the food but plenty of other things we didn't want to worry about the night we arrived). We heartily recommend this wonderful property.

Joe and I live in Nutley, NJ. We have been going to the Racquet Club since 2001. That year my sister and I visited Vero Beach and found the Racquet Club. We decided it was a wonderful complex in the absolutely beautiful resort town of Vero Beach. So we purchased a condo and got to know and love the area for many years. Fast forward to 2014, my husband and I decided to sell our share and buy our own unit. We couldn't have been happier with our purchase. The location in the complex is among the best----living in the A building overlooking the pool and ocean. We are very upbeat and engaging with a love of entertaining. Therefore, we view our lessees not as renters but as our guests. We welcome you as such.

Why they chose this property

In our sincere opinion, it is the best location in the best town on the Treasure Coast. We recommend it highly!!!

What makes this property unique

We offer a unique situation where we can truly enjoy your vacation. There are friendly people abound in the complex. There is no smoking allowed in common area nor are pets allowed on the premise or in any condos for your health and peaceful atmosphere.
