Escape to your key west style home and enjoy the lush tropical foliage, private shell roads, and private beach access to our quite, pet friendly beach! !!
We are a family of five and travel frequently renting VRBO homes and appreciate vacation rentals that have all the amenities to allow us to fully experience the destination. Cleanliness is extremely important to us and we expect our vacation rentals to be turned over to the highest standard and our home is no exception. Professionally detailed and fully disinfected after each guests departure. Our house keepers are given strict detailed instructions to be carried out each and every turnover. We are very flexible and allow date changes and have issued full refunds to every guest that has had to cancel due to the current situation.
Home offers 4 bedrooms including 1 king, 2 queens, and 2 twin bed. 3 full baths. Fully equipped kitchens on both first and second floor with everything you will ever need and more. First and second floor are completely separated only accessible from outside. First floor has 1 bed and 1 bath, laundry, living room with eat-in kitchen. Second floor has 3 bed, 2 bath, and open floor plan. Large second floor deck surrounded by lush mature tropical foliage. Great home to host two families or more. Fully equipped with everything you will need for children of any age. Pack-and-play, high chair, booster seat, baby tub, toys and games for every age and gender and more. Putting green in fully fenced yard. Every kind of beach accessory on-site including chairs, umbrella, towels, beach games, kayak, fishing rods and gear available upon request, tons of kids beach toys, surf boards, boogy boards. If you don’t find what you need just ask. On the rare chilly nights enjoy sitting by the fire pit. Tesla charging station in parking area. Room for four vehicles out front with more room down side driveway. Plenty of room for your boat or RV. Weekly landscape and maintenance service to assure the property will always be in prime condition.

Great Beach House for Family Trip

John and Trish’s house was beautiful and perfect for our family trip over the 4th of July. The house is exactly like the pictures and everything was perfect for our needs. We had 5 adults and we had an extra room. So much space and perfect for hanging out and cooking in the amazing kitchen. The beach is a quick and easy jaunt of a couple of blocks from the house. John and Trish were fantastic and super responsive, we couldn’t have asked for better. Will definitely be staying again!

I stayed here with my family for a week in November. The house was big enough for 7 of us to stay comfortably. We liked the downstairs suite with a bedroom, a bathroom, a small living room, and small kitchen; the entrance is downstairs for this suite. The upstairs has its own entrance, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (one is en-suite to a bedroom), a living room, and a very well-stocked kitchen. The kitchen appliances seemed new. We had local family members come over many times and were able to seat 11 people outside for meals. The seating for meals inside the house is limited to 5 people upstairs. The outside space is lush and had a putt-putt golf area. The beach is within a 5-10 minute walk across a major road, which was busy during commuter traffic times, but easy to cross at all other times. They supplied beach equipment and towels as well. We had some internet challenges, and the owners worked with us to get those repaired. They were quite responsive, even though it was a holiday week. The area was safe, and there are some trails for walking or biking nearby. I highly recommend it.

We had a great time!

Overall we had a great stay at this home in Vero Beach. Walking distance to the beach, on a quiet residential street, and plenty of room for our family of 5. We did a decent amount of driving back and forth to the downtown area (restaurants, shops, park) approx 15 min. each way. The home owner was very responsive and helpful, made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay.

The room at the bottom of the outside stairs was great for our guest who brought his dog. Lots of beach erosion and limited beach access due to recent hurricane, but still beautiful!

Great Spot!

Summerplace is a great spot to chill and enjoy Vero. A quick block walk to the beach which feels private. A brief walk to the public beach to grab a quick lunch or some last minute items at the convenience store. Convenient drive to restaurants and the Disney Vero Beach resort is right down the road.

Great Christmas Retreat!

House was perfect location for what we needed to gather for Christmas. Perfect setup with the separate apartment downstairs for my parents. Plenty of space and owner was very accommodating and communicated well. Even though it was cold still walked to beach and enjoyed the beautiful scenery and area of Vero Beach. Had a great time.

Owner was very helpful and responsive. I love the location in a naturalized, tropical Florida neighborhood that is hard to find. The proximity to a beautiful uncrowded beach was wonderful. It has a great kitchen with lots of natural light and a lovely deck that makes you feel like you're in a treehouse. After that things fall off a bit. Several things were broken (fan in bedroom, towel rack, light in shower, closet doors). The downstairs property is dark and a little musty. But overall a nice experience.

This is our second summer staying here. New Year 2020

We enjoyed staying in summerplace. The home was spacious, comfortable and clean. The owners were easily accessible if we needed anything. Perfect stay! Vero is a great little town ten minutes away- and we made use of the pool and restaurants at the Disney Vero Beach Resort right across the street from the house. We had a great time exploring the area and coming home to this wonderful, restful retreat. Thank you!

Great Place

This Vero property is worth a repeat visit. The house was very clean. My grandson who just graduated from HS wanted to spend time with the family before heading off to college. The location is close to the beach, which the kids loved. We all enjoyed the stay. The owners are on standby with whatever you need. We had a little issue come up; I texted the owner he was there in less than 10 min. I can go on and on...

There were 4 of us and we had a great time. We were impressed with the house itself as well as the location. The beds were comfortable, including the pillows which is important to me. There were very nice areas outside both upstairs and downstairs to hang out outside. The house was very clean and well laid out. The location was perfect! We also found the Riverside Theatre where we attended an awesome comedy club and they have free live music every weekend. We also enjoyed a great music concert at the Summer Crush Winery in Fort Pierce. I highly recommend both. We would love to stay here again when in the area. Thank you for the great hospitality!

The house was clean and well stocked with pretty much anything you would need - beach gear, games, linens, houseware items. The description of the beach access made it appear as if the private beach access was in close proximity to the home but in fact is across the roadway in a separate complex. It is a short walk but my daughter was injured prior to our trip so i was a little concerned with her having to navigate the traffic on the roadway to get across the street on a crutch. We were able to do it ok but it was unexpected. I would recommend insect repellant as there were sand fleas/mites on the beach. Overall we had an enjoyable stay and the hosts were attentive and accommodating

Perfect Beach Getaway

Beautiful location for a tropical vacation! Loved the overgrown "jungle" that surrounded the property, even the second floor balcony in the back was surround by trees and vines. You really felt like you were somewhere else away from it all. The walk to the beach is very quick and there were hardly any people on the beach for the whole time we were there. You really have privacy and the beach is very clean because of the minimal public beach access. And the beach cart was the BEST for getting everything to the beach! This house was a perfect size for our entire party, everything we needed was at our disposal. We cooked a lot and we were prepared for that. The kitchen had all the items we needed. Everyone in our group did not want to leave!! The views at the beach were absolutely amazing, such nice blue water, you really felt like you were in the Caribbean. Wonderful stay, we will definitely book this location again!

Beautiful Easter Weekend Home for our Guests

My husband and I live in Vero Beach and we booked the property for family/guests (young adults) who were coming for the Easter weekend. The location is lovely: on a sand and shell-lined street across the street from the beach. There is a little putting green on the property that they enjoyed, as well. The property is two units with separate/private entrances (3 bedrooms up and one down), which I did not understand when I booked, but it worked for our group. The upstairs has an especially bright and happy feel, with large windows around the back wall of the kitchen and large wood deck off the kitchen. Because the unit is surrounded by mature trees, it feels like being perched in an aerie. Beautiful. While we did not have time to get to the beach, the large basket of rolled beach towels was very thoughtful! The homeowners are fastidious about cleanliness -- bathrooms and the entire property was spotless when our guests arrived. We look forward to booking again for our family and friends.

The home is bright and pretty. There was music playing when we arrived and the house was nice and cold. The downstairs suite was nice and private but never got very cold. Which worked for me since I prefer that; others might not. The home is beginning to age, could use a little updating. Shabby chic, which is cool. Wifi only worked the first day. Owner said he was getting it checked. Phone service is tricky in that area without wifi. The upstairs fridge didn't work the first day, but became cold by the next morning. There is another fridge and full small kitchen downstairs. The location is great, cool neighborhood, short (two blocks ?) walk across A1A to the private, dog friendly beach. Bring your own supplies; there weren't any papertowels, trash bags, dish soap, toilet paper just one roll each room. Small hotel sized shower items. I only mention it as that can vary greatly from place to place. I needed to call for towels, very few were provided; none in kitchen or downstairs bath. They arrived the next afternoon.

I would like to clarify on some these issues brought up. I was not notified that the Wifi was not working till the day the guests departed. After further inspection the power inverter for the modem was crushed and had to be replaced. There was additional roles of tp in all bathrooms, papertowels, and garbage bags. I also notified the guests prior to their arrival that the housekeepers did not have enough time to complete all the towels onsite and that they would be delivered the next morning. There was plenty of towels for the first night, at least a dozen or more. We strive to ensure our guests have a wonderful time at our home doing everything we can to meet their needs. If any guest ever has an issue we ask to notify us right away so that we can address the situation. We love our beach house and enjoy sharing it with others to experience this special place.

Great location and plenty of space in the home

Overall we were very satisfied with our stay. The house is in a great location (only a few min walk to the beach) and having the private beach access was great. Hardly anyone was around us all week. The house looks recently re-done and had plenty of space for everyone to spread out when needed. My only concerns and only reason why I didn't list as 5-stars. 1) The provided beach chairs, beach cart, etc was great to have however they weren't in the greatest condition. Chairs were rusted and the cart was use-able but almost rusted apart. 2) Biggest concern was the plumbing, specifically the downstairs. Something major was happening there as the downstairs shower flooded a few times and I also witnessed water "back flowing" into the shower itself when someone upstairs would run water or flush a toilet upstairs. Only way to make the bathroom downstairs not flood was to wait for everyone upstairs to shower and clean up before we could use the downstairs shower which was a little inconvenient when coming off the beach. The owners were very responsive when needed so i'm sure they'll get this fixed but wanted to mention on the review as it did impact our stay. They did come by one time to clean out the drain but that didn't seem to fix anything.
