Casa Guisante de Olor is a two bedroom villa overlooking mango and avocado groves, offering breathtaking views from its elevated position on the edge of the Sierra de Tejeda national park. It has been beautifully furnished and has a private pool. Situated below one of Andalucia's most picturesque and unspoilt white hill top villages Comares, which is a fascinating and interesting place to explore. Your spacious accommodation is set on two levels. On the upper level there are two beautiful bedrooms both with en-suite Bathrooms, fitted wardrobes ceiling fans and French windows leading on to an impressive terrace with amazing views across to the see and mountains. Downstairs there is a lounge/diner with air conditioning, which is very well furnished, and there is a very well equipped kitchen and W.C. Leading from downstairs onto a covered porch are two set of french doors, this overlooks the swimming pool and also has the same fantastic views.

This is the place to come for a wonderful relaxing holiday, offering peace and tranquillity, yet the nearest beach is at Torre del Mar which is only 25mins drive away, the shops and markets of Velez Malaga, the nearest town are only 20mins away. In Comares which is just 5 mins away you will find plenty of bars and restaurants, but if you prefer to relax at the villa one evening, and do not want the hassle of cooking, the owner has a well deserved reputation for her excellent cuisine and will cater for you, with prior arrangement.

Peaceful relaxation with stunning views

The villa listing accurately describes this wonderful property. It is incredibly well equipped, clean and ideally situated in the region, but you must have a car. The owners could not have been more helpful, communication was brilliant. Sally and Paul regularly checked if all was ok, if we had any questions we received a prompt response. The views from the property were breathtaking, our daily sunrise was the highlight of the day. We travelled with two children aged 8 and 12, there is so much to do in the area and the swimming pool was a massive hit! Comares is a very pretty town with a couple of handy shops for any daily supplies, however the main supermarket is only 25 minutes away from the villa. We highly recommend this property!

Beautiful Villa , spacious and very clean . Gorgeous views of the mountains and white villages . Hosts were courteous and available when needed . Only little issue is lack of shade by the swimming pool and not ideal if you have small children as the pool was not fenced (this wasn’t a problem for us though) We loved our stay and would highly recommend the Villa and area .

Superb villa, relaxing holiday

Lovely, simple, straightforward and easy to stay in villa. All clean and well equipped, beds comfy, towels plentiful and soft. The pool was absolutely fabulous, it was a life saver in the extremely hot weather we had. The views from the pool and the patio area were breathtaking, you can see all the way down the valley to the sea, and there was always a lovely breeze blowing. It’s location means trips to the coast are easy. The road network is windy and steep in places but very well surfaced and not at all as challenging as some of the places we have stayed before. If you’re looking to get away from it all whilst being close at hand for all amenities, this villa is the one! The owners are close at hand and very approachable if needed, but in no way intrusive and we were given complete privacy during our stay.

Beautiful villa in a stunning, tranquil setting

Our second two week holiday in this lovely villa in a beautiful part of Spain. We had a wonderful time, exploring the local area including the small village of Comares and fabulous city of Malaga. We loved the seaside town Torre del Mar with its long wide beaches with Spanish families and authentic, unspoilt atmosphere. Thank you Sally and Paul, super hosts as ever!

The property is set in stunning scenery, the property owners were amazing with there knowledge of the area which was greatly appreciated and both were extremely friendly and made us feel at home. me and my wife were looking for a relaxing out of the way break and we found it. would definitely recommend.

Beautiful Panoramic Location

The villa is every bit as described, fairly high up in the hills but with a wonderful view down the valley to Valez-Malaga. Sally and Paul are extremely nice and were very helpful during our stay for places to visit, local information and arrange table bookings if required. Plenty of restaurants and tapas bars within 20 or 30 minutes and also no distance to visit the coast. Being fairly high, there is a cooling breeze for much of the day which keeps high temperatures very bearable and there were very few biting insects around in July. An excellent stay and we would have no hesitation in returning another time if we visit that part of Spain.

Fabulous villa, beautiful setting, superb hosts

We stayed for two weeks in glorious sunshine at this stunning villa. I chose this villa based on the strong, positive reviews and would like to add one more! We've stayed in many villas in Europe over the past 15 years with similar rural settings but this is one of the best. Sally and Paul were incredibly helpful with lots of recommendations but we also felt completely private. The villa is so comfortable, beautifully designed and fantastically equipped. We loved visiting Málaga, Granada, Alhambra as well as local beaches, villages and restaurants. Thanks so much for a wonderful holiday!

Amazing villa

We can't fault anything about this villa, truly home from home comforts, beautiful pool, large balcony leading from both bedrooms, spectacular mountain views all a round. The beds were comfortable with beautiful clean, quality bedding . The only problem we had was leaving all this behind. Thank you Sally and Paul for all your kindness during our wonderful stay.

Peaceful Perfection!

The perfect home from home for a totally relaxing week in the beautiful Andalucian mountains. Sally and Paul have thought of everything that their guests might need - the property is wonderfully well equipped and so clean with a lovely pool area and superb views. It is also perfectly placed for exploring the local villages and towns a little further afield, and is within easy driving distance of Malaga Airport. We would definitely recommend this beautiful villa for re-charging the batteries and enjoying the natural beauty of Andalucia.

A gorgeous home from home!

My husband and I have just returned from nearly 3 weeks in this gorgeous villa (and have already booked for next year). It's hard to put into words how the place grabs you - from the moment we walked in, it just felt like we were coming home (but with sunshine, haha!) We enjoyed every minute. The views are fantastic - go out on the terrace at night and just lie back and look at the stars. The location's great, it's an easy drive to Torre del Mar, which has good supermarkets and shops. The beautiful village of Comares is only a few minutes up the road and is well worth a visit. Finally, Sally & Paul are brilliant and kept in touch to see if we needed anything - which we didn't. Thanks very much for everything and see you next year!

Five star holiday villa near Comares

A superbly equiped villa with stunning views all the way to the sea, with its own private pool. Perfect for either a quiet relaxing holiday or to explore a part of Spain that is not heavily visited. the mountains beyond Comares contain some splendid views and a number of small spannish villages. The property is not to far away from Malaga, Granada, or Antiquiera. we had a super holiday and our hosts Paul and Sally Welch were either happy to leave us in peace or to help if we need it. Excellent place for peace and tranquility

As soon as I switched the engine of the hire car off the silence was the first thing we noticed. Paul showed us around the villa which truly is stunning and equiped to a high standard. We were looking for somewhere where we could properly relax which we did, tending to stay most of the time at the villa so did not venture too far away. There is a small village about a fifteen minute drive away that has a good supermarket and you are not too far from the a much larger complex if more variety is needed. The views are amazing.

Fantastic 'get-away-from-it-all' holiday

We have just returned from the most relaxing two week holiday at this beautiful villa. The vistas are incredible and we spent most days just sitting and enjoying the breathtaking views with a few glasses of wine! The villa was one of the most comfortable and well equipped holiday homes we have been to in the past 20 years. There were some special extra touches such as pool towels being provided and a change of bed linen and towels halfway through our stay. This was like having hotel service! If you are looking for privacy, tranquility and somewhere to really 'switch off', then this place comes highly recommended. The owners Sally and Paul live nearby and are on hand for any information or help you need. The house has the best of both worlds, providing seclusion and peace in the hills but is also situated only 30 mins from the more lively town of Torre del Mar with beaches and restaurants. We loved it and hope to go back again soon and explore much more of this beautiful area of Spain.

Stunning Villa

Just returned from 8 nights at this Villa 24th May-1st June 2017.My wife and I have stayed in many Villa's and carefully sellected this one as always due to us being very fussy travellers. On arrival we were met by Sally and she showed us around the Villa. You can see immediately why every person has given this Villa 5* ratings. The Villa was spotlessly clean. outside you are met with stunning panaramic views. We spent many days just sitting in the shade relaxing on the patio. The main reason we booked this Villa was hoping due to its location we would have peace and quite. In the evenings we heard nothing during the day you only hear the odd vehicle passing by. My wife and I were totally gutted having to come back home it is safe to say we will be going back.

Perfection.

The Villa was tastefully decorated throughout, The layout internally and externally worked so well, loved the open plan kitchen/ diner and the patio doors leading out to spectacular outdoor pool and views . The winter sunshine was absolutely fantastic. Just an amazing wonderful holiday, and we shall definitely be returning. .

Peaceful

The villa was very clean and well presented, with amazing views from both terraces. As the villa is on a hill, there were usually cool breezes which were a welcome contrast to the heat lower down. The villages of Comares and Benamargosa are less than 10 minutes drive away and are very 'local'. The coast was very busy as would be expected during August, so we tended to stay inland and explore the villages and scenery around us. Sally and Paul were very helpful. Due to a flight delay, we arrived late at night and Sally kindly got in some supplies for us.
