Unit Nightmare

While the location of this property is conveniently located in many tourist attractions and sites, this rental property should not be renting out to anyone. Bedding had blood stains on it, carpets were deplorable, visible mold/mildew stains in shower, and mildew scent hits you as soon as you enter the door to name a few. Property management was not concerned or responsive to addressing concerns… Nor changing the unit or providing a credit. We had to wait for hours on end to get some new sheets , and comforters… no one from housekeeping ever came to even inspect or remove bedding with blood stains, which is a biohazard. We had to change them ourselves. Carpets finally were steam cleaned day 2, which led to us having to be outta the unit for hours to allow it to dry… This doesn’t include the roaches or bugs that were trotting around daily. Stains/smell/mold/mildew were so visible that the unit should have NEVER BEEN RENTED.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Before we checked in we were notified that the carpeting was soiled,needed to be cleaned and would require us to leave for 6 hrs. When we got there, an inspection revealed the carpeting throughout was nasty,a nightstand in each bedroom was broken, light bulbs were missing or burned out,a towel rack in bathroom was hanging by a screw,faucet in bathroom pulled loose,closet door off track,the outdoor patio was loaded with cigarette butts and beer bottle caps. All the bedrooms furniture and bedding is old, paint chipped,and scratched and needs to be replaced. The good part was the office staff were very responsive to the conditions and did their best to make required repairs. However, the carpet scrub did not remove stains and dirt. It needs to be replaced. The condo is very spacious and in a good location to venues and shopping. But the condition of the condo overall is very poor.

Reviewer Comments: Propery is not in good condition,very smoky smell and filthy eggy smell.carpet very dirty,bathrooms silk stoppers not there,sink fixer is very loose,towel holder broken.master shower needs serious attention.master tv control broken,very bad experience withwasher dryer please don’t use water it gave me a nightmare .started jumping in spin cycle needs to change seriously.we had to run to Walmart to get cleaning supply and thoroughly cleaned the whole place.towels linens the whole house had a smoky smoky smell.never going to step in this filthy house.we are charged to pay $400 for cleaning which is not fair.furniture very old and dirty with bad smell.please take a look at this house before you rent it to anyone.

August 2017 Stay

Everything was great, the only complaint is that the tub in master bedroom needs to be unclogged and the chairs on patio were destroyed and damage to ac unit outside. Also found a pair of shoes underneath bed. Called office to report tub and damage on the second day. No one addressed the issues.

Very spacious and very clean and quite community

I loved my stay at Myrtlewood Palmetto. It was a Very spacious 3 br and very clean and located in a nice, quite community. Amenities were perfect for my family and golf course was right down the road and great choose of two course right there.

Property was great, security was not

The property is nice but Myrtlewood is more concerned about the guests having pool tags than the overall security of the property! While I was checked for pool tags every 30 minutes for 2 hours, my condo was being robbed.
