Family Villa in Capbreton

Spacious, characterful property with lovely garden and pool in a convenient location within Capbreton, walkable to town centre and 5 min drive/cycle to the beach. Perfect for our family holiday. Claude was a pleasure to deal with, always responding promptly to any questions during our stay. Very comfortable and homely, well equipped for eating at home and close to good restaurants if eating out. We had a great stay here and would not hesitate to recommend!

Beautiful house

We had a great holiday in this wonderful house which is really well appointed and has a fantastic pool. Claude was a very helpful host. The house is handy for the town centre and port restaurants and there are shops less than 10 minutes away on foot so you don’t really need a car. It’s only about 20 minutes on foot to the beach. Highly recommended.

The house is clean, spacious comfortable and bright. The pool is well maintained.

Claudia gave us a great welcome and was very relaxed as our arrival time got later due to traffic. The house is very well located for both capbreton and hossegor and all their beaches. We are a family with five sons ranging from 5 to 18 and they all loved the house and surrounding activities. It was easy to book things once we had arrived but in the future we would definitely hire bikes ahead of time and for the whole week. We enjoyed day trips to Biarritz and the Vache Landaise on Friday evening in Capbreton. Great house, great location.

Wohlfühlurlaub in individueller Atmosphäre

Wir waren mit insgesamt 6 Personen im Juni/Juli 2022 in Capbreton. Das Haus ist sehr schön geschnitten, die Kinder hatten in der ersten Etage ein eigene Reich ;-). Das Haus ist sehr schön und vollständig eingerichtet, da es zu Zeiten der Nicht-Vermietung auch durch die Vermieterin selbst genutzt wird. Claude war extrem hilfsbereit und freundlich, unsere Anfragen und Bitten wurden von ihr direkt und sehr zeitnah umgesetzt - danke dafür (insbesondere für die höhere Pool-Temperatur ;-)). Ansonsten blieben ebenso keine Wünsche offen - wir durften einen rundherum tollen Urlaub in einer sehr abwechslungsreichen Gegend verbringen. Das Highlight an dem Haus war für uns der Garten mitsamt dem beheizten Pool, der sehr schön angelegt war und uns zu tollen, lauen Sommerabenden eingeladen hat. Ansonsten: sehr großer Supermarkt, Bäcker und Einkaufsstrasse von Capbreton fussläufig in 5-10 Minuten zu erreichen, zum Strand 15 Minuten - was will man mehr. Wir können das Haus und Claude nur weiterempfehlen!!!

Erholsame Ferien in einem wunderschönen Haus

Das Haus ist sehr zentral gelegen und alles kann bequem zu Fuß erreicht werden. Es ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtet und es fehlt wirklich an nichts. Die Betten sind zudem äußerst bequem und in dem hübschen Garten und dem großen Pool konnten wir viele schöne Stunden verbringen. Claude ist eine äußerst zuvorkommende und nette Vermieterin. Wir kommen wieder!

Très belle maison familiale

Nous avons passé une superbe semaine en famille dans cette jolie maison familiale, au mois de juillet. Une maison à la décoration soignée: on se sent vite chez soi, et non dans une banale maison de location sans âme. Les chambres sont joliment décorées. La maison est au calme, les nuits sont paisibles. Le jardin est idéal pour des journées en famille: jeux dans la piscine, sieste sur transat et barbecue. La maison est à 5 minutes à pied du centre de Capbreton, et à 15 min à pied des boutiques de Hossegor. Nous recommandons vivement cette maison pour vos vacances.

Beautiful house with perfect garden and pool area.

The villa is well situated, just a few metres from the centre of Capbreton - a small town with gift shops and several bars. There is a hypermarket ten minutes walk away. The house is in a residential area but the gardens are cleverly landscaped to allow complete privacy from neighbours; this is something we value strongly. The house is spacious with a well equipped kitchen - the fridge, cooker, washing machine etc are all of a high spec. We particularly enjoyed using the heated hot plate to cook and eat all our meals outside, typically choosing to eat out at a restaurant once a day. The living accommodation is spacious, with one double ensuite downstairs and the other three bedrooms upstairs. The living room opened up onto the garden and the large modern TV allowed us to sign in to our Netflix account and watch the occasional film. The pool area is fantastic and the pool itself one of the best we have had - not too deep, graduating to approx 1m 60. There are plenty of loungers and a big family table to eat in an under cover area. The decor is very interesting, reflecting the well travelled life of the owner. We visited nearby Bayonne and St Jean de Luz, both places worthy of a trip. Thank you to Claude who ensured our stay was agreeable.

Ylellinen (luxueux en finnois) !

Vaste demeure entièrement close, sans vis à vis, le jardin est magnifique et la piscine est un incontestable atout. Nous étions trois couples, deux ados et notre famille finlandaise n'a pas hésité à parler d'un endroit Ylellinen (luxueux). Rien n'y manque et les souvenirs de voyage donnent une touche exotique à l'ensemble. Les commerces de la petite zone piétonne sont bien agréables, à préférer aux grandes surfaces ! La propriétaire, à l'image du lieu est accueillante et sympathique, merci mille fois.

L´excellence à tous points de vue!

Une location d´exception, offrant de grandes pièces magnifiquement décorées, un hommage à la fois au passé et aux voyages de Claude, sa propriétaire. De grandes pièces où chacun peut trouver son confort et son intimité, une grande cuisine d´été, un jardin conçu avec goût et entretenu avec soin, tout comme la piscine chauffée, idéale pour les plus petits comme pour les grands. Rien ne manque! De plus, une situation idéale au coeur de la ville, tout étant accessible en quelques minutes, même à pied. Mes enfants, à qui je fais la surprise tous les ans d´une location pour les vacances, ont été unanimes : "Maman, tu auras du mal à faire mieux!". Merci à Claude pour son accueil et sa sympathie. Superbe!!

Nous avons passé 15 jours fantastique dans la maison de Claude à Capbreton!! Son accueil était vraiment très chaleureuse dès notre arrivée. La maison était très facile et très agréable à vivre. La piscine était superbe – toujours juste au bonne température et bien propre. L’emplacement de la maison par rapport au centre d’Hossegor et Capbreton était vraiment géniale aussi. Nous espérons pouvoir revenir sur cette belle région de la France bientôt ! Merci Claude.

The villa was marvellous. Everything from the gated entrance for extra security, right through to the bedrooms, kitchen, & the outdoor furniture were great. The swimming pool was excellent, and in summary we could find very little to fault about the property. We would definitely chose this villa again if choosing to go on holiday in the Capbreton area.

Tolles Haus an der Atlantikküste

Wir haben das Haus mit 7 Personen (Freundeskreis) und einem begleitenden Hund gemietet. Im gesamten Zeitraum vor der Anmietung bis zur Rückgabe des Hauses, war der Kontakt mit der Vermieterin sehr freundlich und die Rückmeldungen kamen immer sehr schnell und ausführlich. Bei unserer Ankunft am Haus, waren wir sehr positiv überrascht, wirken die Räume auf den Fotos teilweise etwas dunkel und vielleicht abschreckend, ergibt sich vor Ort ein ganz anderes Bild. Die Räume sind hell, freundlich, farbenfroh und sauber. Der Garten, entspricht exakt den Bildern, der große saubere Pool (wird 2 Mal die Woche vom Roboter gereinigt und wenn man morgens einmal kurz 5 min. den Kescher schwingt) strahlt einen an, Rosmarin und Lavendel bitten darum für das Kochen auf der Grillplatte geerntet zu werden. Die gesamte Einrichtung sowie auch die Kücheneinrichtung sind nicht auf Profit und Tourismus ausgelegt, sondern man merkt es ist ein bewohnte Haus mit einer Geschichte und Charakter. Das Haus von Claude liegt sehr zentral in direkter Nähe zur Fußgängerzone von Capbreton (3 min zu Fuß), Surfshops in Hossegor (10 min zu Fuß), zum Strand (15 min zu Fuß) und großen Supermarkt (3 min zu Fuß). Trotz der Straße vor dem Haus ist auf Grund der Ausrichtung des Hauses ein ruhiger erholsamer Urlaub möglich. Die französische Atlantikküste und besonders die Region Hossegor, Capbreton, Biarritz, sind ein idealer Standort, für einen aktiven (Wellenreiten, Bergwandern, Quadfahren) und erholsamen (Strand, Thermalstadt Dax, große Pinienwälder) Urlaub. Wir werden einen Aufenthalt bei Claude auf alle Fälle weiterempfehlen und bestimmt auch selbst wieder einmal von dem tollen Haus gebrauch machen. Geht selbst vorbei und schaut es euch an. Unser Aufenthalt bei Claude war sehr schön und erholsam.

Vive la côte Basque

Pour commencer je dirais que cette maison est bien situé aussi bien pour le marché, le centre commercial ainsi que le bord de mer. Les plus: -grande maison bien entrenue avec un jardin fleuri. -qualité de la literie, très belle et grande salle de bain. -piscine chauffée et sécurisée. dommage que la hauteur dans le grand bain se situe à 1,60m environ. pour les enfant c'est parfait. -aucun bruit de la route, c'est appréciable. -pas de moustiques pendant notre séjour. Les moins: -pas d'aspirateur disponible dans la piscine qui permettrait de nettoyer le fond et surtout par temps de forte pluie. -malheureusement nous avons pour le premier W.E de proches voisins qui on fait la fête du matin au soir donc impossible de rester dans le jardin, malgré ma protestation mais la musique était bien trop forte. le calme est revenu le lundi. -il est difficile de manger dans le grand salon étant donné que cette superbe table est trop basse donc nous avons opté pour la salle à manger mais elle est un peu tristounette. -problème avec la télécommande du portail pour le stationnement de la voiture. nous préférions la laisser à l'extèrieur. dommage. Nous avons bien aimé cette belle région landaise et les alentours.

Je vous remercie d'avoir pris le temps de me faire part de vos observations dont je ne manquerai pas de tenir compte. J'ai eu pour ma part grand plaisir à vous recevoir dans ma maison et c'est avec joie que je vous accueillerai de nouveau pour d'autres découvertes de notre région. Concernant la profondeur de la piscine, je dois dire que je n'ai jamais mesuré mais je fais 1,63 M et je n'ai pas pied... Il y a bien un robot électrique pour la piscine mais qui n'est pas laissé à la disposition des locataires d'autant qu'une personne passe tous les mercredis et samedi matin pour la nettoyer. A charge les autres jours, aux locataires, de passer l'épuisette de surface qui fait tous les jours prend 5 minutes. Je suis vraiment désolée qu'en effet vous ayez rencontré des problèmes avec vos 2 télécommandes, je suis venue tout de suite mais comme vous avez pû le constater, avec moi elles fonctionnaient mais c'est vrai qu'elles ne réagissent pas à n'importe quelle pression. wonderful stay wth family&friends in lovely home

we rented this lovely cozy property in June this year together with a family of friends (total of 4 adults & 4 kids under 12) knowing already quite well the beautiful cote basque/landes area where we had been several times before. The house is really super practical for many reasons: is pretty much accessible to everywhere (supermarket/beach in capbreton/10 min walk from hossegor center) and quite strategic even if you want to go to explore Biarritz & the Basque beaches (about 15/20 minutes by car). Also the house is so cosy (watch out all the pretty details chosen by the owner Claude!), comfortable and well kept you can tell it is a lived by/loved home! We actually spent a lot of time in the house & outside (garden & pool) after and before beach time: we barbequed, had wonderful breakfasts, sunbathed in the garden and the kids obviously loved diving into the pool! Anything you can think of (tv & elettrical appliances/washing machine+drier/sunbeds etc) is provided for. Rooms are super comfy. A significant plus: Claude let us bring with us our dogs wich behaved well & enjoyed the cool garden when we could not bring them on the beach with us! Alltoghether a fantastic stay and Claude, whom probably was terrifed at first upon arrival of 2 families with kids & dogs (ahaha understandable) a perfect host. I am sure we did not deceive her as we treated her home as our own really!
