great holiday location

The maisonnette is very spacious and originally formed part of an authentic family house. It is well isolated and the private courtyard with barbeque was a great bonus. The house is in the heart of charming village in the mountains with a direct view of the sea. We were less than 30mins drive from the beach and from Ile Rousse. It is a great location for hiking, cycling and experiencing the Corsican life in Balagne, a great alternative to touristic hubs.

Es hat uns sehr gut hier gefallen. Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich und herzlich. Die Wohnung fühlt sich durch die sehr hohen Decken größer an als die angegebenen 85 m2. Sie war auch sehr sauber und gut ausgestattet mit Waschmaschine und Spülmaschine etc. Die Terrasse haben wir v.a. abends verwendet. Das Dorf ist sehr charmant und ruhig. Es gibt auch einen Wanderweg, der hinter dem Haus beginnt. Der Strand von Lozari (20 Minuten mit dem Auto) ist sehr schön und sogar im August nicht übervoll. Einkaufen ist etwas weiter weg (auch in Lozari). Den Mini-Laden in Belgodère (4 km entfernt) haben wir nicht genutzt. Viele schöne Wanderungen (Fangotal, Ascotal, Foret de Bonifato) sind von diesem Ort aus möglich, wenn man bereit ist, mehr als eine Stunde zu fahren.Wir haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt. Vielen Dank!

Eine schöne und gute Erfahrung

In den Bergen ist es weniger touristisch, ruhiger und klimatisch immer etwas weniger heiß, wie in den Orten an den Küsten, die aber auch schnell erreicht sind. Die Bergdörfer sind architektonische, städtebauliche Lehrbeispiele, wie dichte, im Kern autofreie Orte mit höher Aufenthaltsqualität für alle Bewohner, bei schwieriger Topografie aussehen können. Es gibt spektakuläre Aussichten und Landschaften. Bei einer Autopanne (die Werkstätten im Land sind mit dem Aukommen an Aufgaben in der Saison überfordert, hier Nebenbei ein Lob auf den ADAC) erfahren wir nicht selbstverständliche, überdurchschnittliche Unterstützun unserer Vermieter, denen wir auf diesem Weg auch noch einmal danken.

Tres belle experience

Merci pour cet accueil Maison très propre, fidèle à l annonce. Tres bien équipée . Cour très appréciable pour les repas. Village très joli et calme. Situation géographique agréable pour visiter la Balagne. Il faut néanmoins prévoir de prendre la voiture régulièrement pour les courses et les ballades diverses. Séjour riche en couleur, odeur, promenades.. paysage et endroit magnifique.. Une seule envie, c'est d'y retourner. La maison offre un confort où tout est à disposition du locataire. De plus, les propriétaires sont très accueillants et disponibles.. la situation donne une proximité avec les habitants avec qui le contact a été enrichissant.. bref, nous revenons avec grand plaisir une nouvelle fois pour visiter d'autres endroits MAGNIFIQUES.

Schöne Ferienwohnung, sehr nette Vermieter

Das Ferienhaus liegt mitten in einem typischen ruhigen korsischen Bergdorf mit engen Gassen und schönen Häusern. Die Vermieter sind ausgesprochen nett und hilfsbereit. Alles ist sauber, die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Die Schlafzimmer sind im oberen Stockwerk mit Blick auf das Dorf, das Dorf Belgodere gegenüber und sogar ein Stück Meer. Im Dorf gibt es beim Bouleplatz eine kleine Bar, die auch als Laden fungiert. Essen gehen kann man in einer netten Pizzeria auf dem Weg nach Belgodere und in Belgodere selbst. Direkt hinter dem Haus geht der Wanderweg nach Ville de Paraso bzw. Speloncato los. 20 Minuten wunderschöner Fussweg führen zum Bahnhof Belgodere. In der Nähe des schönen und auch im August nicht überlaufenen Hausstrands Plage de Lozari (20 Min. mit dem Auto) gibt es einen großen Supermarkt und einen guten lokalen Obst- und Gemüsehändler.

Lovely house in quaint village and charming owners

We were welcomed by Marie and her husband to stay in their lovely house. Even though our French language skills were limited Marie and her husband helped a great deal with advice on places to go and things to see. Having lived in Occhiatana all here life there was little she did not know. The house itself is spacious and has pretty much all the conveniences needed. The village and the village square seems to be in a pleasant time warp, you really do not have any over tourism here. There is a local bar which doubles as small shop for essentials. For a big super market shop you need to drop in to either Calvi or Ille Rousse about 30 minutes away. Beaches in the area are superb, they have not seen a great deal of commercialisation. However, if you prefer scenery, then go over the mountain range through Splenecato into into the next valley. The drive and scenery is spectacular! There is some varied walking either between the villages or over into the Olmi Cappela valley. All in all we had a great time.
