About this property
Big Bear Mountain Escape! Walking to Village, Restaurants, Hiking/Biking Trails
[Now Using Enhanced Cleaning Practices Including Disinfectants]
Escape to this 2 bedroom 1 bath getaway in the heart of the Big Bear Lake resort town. Enjoy being both 'off the beaten path' and central to year-round activities. Don't be fooled by the log exterior of this cozy home because the interior features a full kitchen and 'great room' feel not typically shared by traditional cabins. If the sledding hill on the property or the great sledding area behind the property is not enough, the house is within walking distance to the Six Flags run amusement/water park, as well as restaurants and antique shops. Go a little farther in one direction and you will be in the beautiful 'Village', the main hub of shops, brewery's, and restaurants. A little farther in the other direction and you can enjoy the scenic Boulder Bay area of the lake, a perfect place to rent kayaks and paddleboards, or just have a family picnic. This place features a romantic fireplace, a larger TV with bluray/DVD/cable functionality, as well as access to your Netflix, Vudu, and Amazon Prime accounts and a full kitchen with a cute dining area. The bedrooms are beautifully decorated with a king-size bed in the master bedroom, and a log bunk in the second bedroom that accommodates a full-size bed on the bottom and a twin up top as well as a Premium Luxury twin cot, just in case. There is also a huge front deck with patio furniture that can accommodate up to 6 people as well as a deck in the back complete with a Bistro set for those who would rather enjoy the wilder views of nature. For those who just can't get away, there is high-speed broadband internet access. All of this and a washer and dryer to get those ski outfits ready for another day on the slopes. So pack light, and please enjoy this place as much as we do!

We are glad you had a great stay! But just to be clear, Pets are not allowed at the rental. Bringing pets will result in a penalty to pay for additional cleaning as stated in the contract.
Great stay during our winter trip. Cabin was clean upon arrival. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook breakfast, lunch and dinner. Laundry machines and bunk bed was a bonus. Single bathroom is a little tight (limited counter space) but otherwise worked just fine for our family of 5.
Everything is less than an hour to where we need to get to for the kids. Clean lovely cabin has all the essentials. Wish we could have stayed longer. Kids loved the bunk beds.
Our family of 4 had a wonderful time at this cabin. It is very well maintained and clean, and has everything we needed. Very comfortable for a 3 night stay, and a great location. We hope to come back again soon!

We really enjoyed our stay - well decorated and clean interior. Very quiet and friendly neighborhood.
Wonderful Cabin in a quiet neighborhood yet very close to all the shops and restaurants. We loved our stay and would definitely return. We left a load of laundry in the washing machine, oops, and the owner was awesome about packing it all up and mailing it to us.. yayyy! Vrbo is asking us to review a wine tour on this listing which we didn't do?? But the cabin is 5 stars, loved it!!
This cozy cabin is in a great location close to everything. We were lucky to have snow to build a snowman in the back and ride our sled down the hill. The kids had so much fun. I would definitely stay here again.
My grandson and his family loved the cabin! They were only there one night and wished they could have stayed longer. Worked out perfectly for 2 adults and 3 kids.
We stayed here with our one year old son and had a blast! Very family friendly, walking distance to several places and only a few minutes from the village or lake. Nighttime views from the front porch were amazing and the gate for the porch made it easy for us to all sit outside without our son running off to explore. Highly recommend!

Great place! Close to everything and even walking distance to Food, Market, and Bakery!!
Everything in the place is like brand new, very neat and cozy! I really liked that you can walk to almost everything (short drive to slopes). We have 2 kids and they could play right out front and see them from the windows. I highly recommend this cabin.
Cute place, clean.Great location.Definitely will return. Wish the listing indicates bring personal toiletries, and if you like to be toasty in the bath room, bring your own space heater.Owner is a very responsive but not the management personnel.
We were able to walk to the coaster and to the village and enjoyed a couple of days of cooler weather after one hot day. We like to stay in areas like that so we do more walking. The cabin had everything we needed for cooking and serving. As I said, one day was especially hot and we were glad we brought an extra small fan for the second bedroom. We felt comfortable leaving the windows open at night and the area was amazingly quiet.
