Such a cute and cozy cabin. My son loved the hot tub. The cabin was quiet and clean, the host was super responsive with any questions we had. 10 out of 10 would recommend!
We loved our stay! The cabin was beautiful, cozy and had everything you needed. We loved our coffee in the morning out by the firepit. We will definitely return.
My family had such a great time at this cabin! The host’s communication was very clear and helpful. He even offered an earlier check-in and later check-out which provided such ease to our trip, especially when trying to rally kids to get packed and what not. The cabin itself was decorated so cute and had everything you could possibly need! We cooked one dinner there and had breakfast there each morning. There was never a thing missing in terms of utensils/cookware. My 3 kids were so sad to leave and are already asking me to go back! We would definitely recommend this cabin for a trip to Big Bear!
Perfect place for my granddaughter’s first time seeing snow! The place was comfortable, clean, and close to stores, restaurants, and entertainment! We had a great time!
The wife and I came up to celebrate our 45th anniversary. Rental was beautiful in a nice quiet neighborhood. The house was very comfortable and had everything you need for a relaxing getaway. I would highly recommend this rental if you are looking for a relaxing getaway.
We loved this cabin! It was exceptionally clean and really beautiful. The pictures don’t quite do it justice. It was very comfortable, check in was easy and the communication was great. Location was easy to find, you can walk to the zoo and it’s a short drive to the village. The hot tub was great and the neighborhood is nice and quiet.
Our favorite Vrbo experience so far. Leo our host was super helpful and responsive. This cabin was very clean, modern and well equipped. We’ll be back for sure.
This is the most modern and beautiful cabin I’ve ever stayed in! The location is perfect, the Village and Boulder Bay is less than ten minutes away! Leonides was so responsive and had great communication! Our family absolutely loved our stay and we’ll definitely return!
Leo was incredibly accommodating and very communicative. The whole rental process was seamless. Better than the pictures and so well designed, down to every detail. Thanks again :)
Our family enjoyed our recent stay in this cozy cabin. It is well appointed and has everything you need in the kitchen. The cabin was very clean and so I must say the cleaning crew is doing a great job. We also appreciated the location of the cabin and the close proximity to the zoo and ski resort. It is a place we will definitely return to in the future.
Had a great time staying in the house. Very clean and modern and in a good location. We enjoyed the spa whice was heated already for us and was clan. The baby gate also came in handy for us also. Overall we enjoyed our stay an highly recommend it!
Beautiful remodeled cabin for a cozy weekend in the woods. Perfect for 1-2 couples or a small family. I have already recommended this cabin to a friend for their next family getaway. Easy parking. Very communicative host. Stairway may be challenging for older family members or those with disabilities.
My husband, 14-month old daughter and I stayed at this property for three nights to celebrate my husband’s birthday and we couldn’t recommend it more!
It’s cozy and decorated beautifully. There’s even a baby gate already installed at the top of the stairs which was a nice surprise as we were traveling with a small child. Communication with the host was fantastic as well! The hill on the side of the home is great for snow play for littles too.
We’d definitely re-book this property when back in Big Bear!
Completely enjoyable from check-in to Check-out. Everything you need is provided. Host is always immediately available. We’re from Monterey and this we like even better. Hope to return before tire chains required. Plenty to do in summer. Board games in media room with huge TV. House is cooled by hand-set controls. Hot tub is perfect and water changes colors. Can’t say enough about the host. Can’t wait until our next stay. Book it and you’ll see for yourself!
This was the perfect getaway spot. The cabin is a short 10-minute drive from town, close enough for easy access to amenities while still being removed enough from the hustle and bustle to feel like you're in the heart of nature. The cabin itself is fantastic, perfect for myself, my wife, and our three-year-old son. The interior is very well decorated and welcoming, complete with every creature comfort you can think of. The main living areas are spacious and the beds are incredibly comfortable. Each area of the cabin offered a great balance of relaxation and entertainment, from a cozy game room to an outdoor fire pit, it gave us everything we were looking for in a vacation rental. My wife and I would certainly stay here again, we wouldn't even consider looking elsewhere. Highly highly recommend!
My husband and I needed a long weekend get away to celebrate our 33rd anniversary. We chose to visit Big Bear to enjoy some biking, hiking, and fall colors. We were so fortunate to find this home.
This home boasts cozy beds, forest views, and roomy yet cozy living spaces.
Leo is an excellent host. He has done an amazing job decorating the spaces and making it feel so welcoming! He kept us informed.
Loved it so much!
My husand and I loved this house! it was decorated so trendy and cute, extremely clean and had all the amenities! we could walk to the Alpine big bear zoo, coffee shop, donuts and a few little businesses down the road. Leo was very communicative and easy to get ahold of. we accidentally broke the key in the lock, Leo answered right away and there was an extra key in a lockbox on property and we were bale to get back in no hassle! 10/10 recommend this property would stay again!

About the host
Hosted by Leonides Sepulveda III
Hi Everyone,
My name is Leo (Leonides), and I am so happy to share my cabin with you. I am a fashion/interior designer living in L.A.. Originally from the East Coast, I moved to California for the beautiful weather (like most) and the ability to go from Ocean and Beach to Mountains and Ski Slopes in just 2 hours. I grew up with a large family and always wanted to be able to have a cabin where I could host friends and family just like this!
Why they chose this property
Big Bear is a magical place for me. I have been driving up the mountain for over 10 years and always wanted to be able to get my little piece of mountain paradise. I chose Sunset Reverie, because as soon as I walked in I felt good vibes. It is warm and cozy yet very spacious, has beautiful tree top views and is walking distance to the ski resort, coffee shops, the zoo, hiking trails, gold course, etc.!
I am very hands on and the place still needed a lot of work when I got it. I pretty much did all the renovations and decorating with my own 2 hands, so the place is very special to me! I wanted the place to feel just as relaxing and homie for my guests as it does for me every time I am there.
I am not a big Ski person, but I LOVE hiking so I encourage everyone who comes during the winter to also check us out in the Summer...you get a completely different and amazing experience.
What makes this property unique
As mentioned above, I love that it is walking distance to so many great attractions but the best thing the place has to offer is much needed quiet and relaxation time. I love laying back in the spa while stargazing, sitting by the fire place or fire pit while listening to music and enjoy the amazing views and grilling while enjoying laughs with friends and family.
