Beautiful Location, Lovely Home

We really enjoyed our stay in Vauvenargues. Marc was a great host and very attentive. Marc spoke better English than I did French, and he was happy to give us a tour of the property in our language. Marc also left a bottle of wine for us to enjoy, which was a very lovely surprise. The home and property has so much history and character, and the views from the pool, patio, backyard and windows are exactly what you would hope for when visiting Provence. The home has plenty of beds and lots of space. The property is expansive and Marc invited us to explore the area as much as we wanted, as he owns a lot of land around the home. We had some issues upon arrival with the cleanliness, but Marc responded promptly and had it addressed right away. We wouldn’t call it pristine, but it has a rustic charm that you will enjoy. We were about 30 minutes from Aix, and around an hour (give or take) from other places to visit, such as Lacoste and Bonnieux. The location is a perfect jumping off point for exploring the region. We would stay here again, and would recommend this home. Thank you, Marc, for a wonderful welcome and great visit to Provence.

Unser Aufenthalt in diesem schönen, charmanten, alten Haus war vom ersten Moment an sehr entspannend und erholsam. Es ist einsam inmitten der Natur gelegen, verfügt über reichlich Platz, eine gut ausgestattete Küche und einen großen Garten, Blick auf die Montagne Sainte Victoire. Aix en Provence ist nur eine knappe halbe Stunde entfernt, aber auch die nähere Umgebung lädt ein zu Ausflügen und Erkundungen.Einziger Wermutstropfen war, dass der Pool-Roboter zur Reinigung ausgefallen war und nicht sofort repariert werden konnte. Dadurch war das Algenwachstum etwas störend. Marc hat sich jedoch umgehend darum gekümmert.Empfang und Kontakt zum Vermieter waren äußerst herzlich und zuvorkommend - wir freuen uns auf ein Wiedersehen!

Un vrai havre de paix! Marc et sa compagne nous ont accueilli chaleureusement, l’endroit est magique, si vous cherchez le calme c’est ici, les enfants se sont beaucoup amusés piscine ping pong trampo. Sans voisin autour, à 20mn d’Aix.Nous n’avons pas vu le temps passer!

A little bit of paradise

Marc was fantastic and coped very well with our limited French vocabulary. the pool needed a little TLC on arrival but Marc returned the next day to test and treat and it was soon sorted. The location is amazing, Villa is rustic but has the essential mod cons, coffee machine, dishwasher, huge fridge/freezer. We would definitely return!

Tout simplement magnifique

Cadre exceptionnel, en pleine nature , exactement ce qu'on cherchait !les photos sont moins belles que la réalité ! 15 jours c'était vraiment trop court. Marc est d'une rare gentilllesse et extrêmement accueillant . Vraiment bravo ! Avec 3 enfants en bas âge aucun soucis de sécurité ou autre vraiment top ! A bientôt j'espère !!

Si le paradis existe...

Si le paradis existe, il ressemble certainement à ce paysage à couper le souffle devant lequel nous avons passé 3 semaines ! Magie de la Sainte Victoire, de sa flore et de sa faune (sangliers, aigle de bonelli...), du ciel toujours bleu de la Provence, de la maison atypique de Marc et sa piscine inoubliable, du marché d'Aix en Provence et ses fruits et légumes à tomber, sans oublier les sublimes pâtisseries de Ph. Second (MOF), et les plats savoureux de la Dolce Italia rue d'Italie. Le paradis !!!

Exceptionnel

Nous avons passé un séjour de totale détente, absolument seuls au milieu d'une nature complètement préservée. Le panorama et les alentours de la Sainte Victoire sont exceptionnels de beauté et de quiétude. Le soleil et le ciel bleu ont été présents tous les jours de notre quinzaine et l'altitude du site permet de conserver les nuits fraîches (avec un très beau ciel étoilé !). La maison conserve aussi très bien la fraîcheur et est très agréable à vivre. L'accueil qui nous a été fait fût très chaleureux et agrémenté de conseils utiles pour les visites et les chemins de randonnées. Notre appréciation ne peut être qu'excellente dans tous les domaines.

authenticité, nature, espace et confort

Nous avons fait le bon choix : Nous voulions découvrir au plus prés la Sainte Victoire en toute liberté, sans nuisances avec un certain confort. De plus, nous avons apprécié le petit café croissant du matin avec les gens du pays à Vauvenargues qui est à 8 minutes en voiture par une route très agréable. Cerise sur le gâteau : ce bain de nature , nous a donné de l'énergie. Nos amis connaissent déjà l'adresse. Florence

Acceuil Chaleureux !

Un grand merci à Marc pour son accueil, sa disponibilité et tous ses conseils. La maison, située au milieu du massif de la Saint Victoire près du col des claps, en étant à 20’ d’Aix et 1 h maximum de la méditerranée (de Cassis). Nous avons passé un très bon week-end en famille dans une maison de caractère dont les charmes se déploient au tour d’un bon feu ou quand les différentes terrasses sont baignées de soleil. De nouveau, tous nos chaleureux remerciements à Marc de nous avoir permis de passer un week-end reposant en famille.
