There is a private entrance to this 3rd floor apt via a massive stone and iron back porch, safe off-street parking surrounded by a 8 ft tall wooden fence. This apartment has high end appliances and exceptionally tiled bathrooms/fixtures that mimic the luxury hotels. Three back porches and good sized backyard with patio. Front porch overlooking large park. Must see and experience to believe.

This was a wonderful 2 bedroom, 2 bath, apartment beautifully decorated in Arts and Crafts style. It was clean, quiet and very comfortable. It is on the third floor of a classic mansion in a very nice neighborhood in Hyde Park. The beds and bedding were very comfortable. It was perfect for me and my girlfriend. The entry is on the back up two flights of steps. Very doable. Parking was safe and secure behind the mansion. I highly recommend this beautiful VRBO lodging and I would return again. It is very convenient to the primary tour sites in KC and near the trolley street line, which is great!

We had a 4 day event at the KC Convention Center….. 4 of us stayed in VRBO b/c cheaper than downtown hotel plus we could “spread out”, cook our own meals, and park for free. Easy drive to get downtown. It was great! We brought our dog and loved taking her for multiple walks a day b/c the neighborhood felt safe ( even at 5 am in the dark) and the architecture of the houses was breath taking. Beautiful historic neighborhood. The Arts & Crafts style of VRBO was charming. Beds were comfortable. It might be “tight” with 6 adults but was perfect for 4. We loved it! Not good for someone who can’t handle multiple flights of steps. Host was very responsive to all my questions and concerns leading up to our arrival…. Very helpful.

We stayed at the top floor of a mansion in Hyde Park. It’s a beautiful place: hardwood floors and very cozy bedrooms. We didn’t use the kitchen, but there’s everything you would need to cook. The living room is comfortable and relaxing. We very much enjoyed our stay.

The unit was clean but not well maintained. Chipped paint, window sills need paining. Door knob fell off bedroom door. Some dirty dishes in cabinet. Fingerprints on entry door. We could not figure out how to turn the volume up on the tv and we needed to watch bc there was a tornado warning. Hook and towel rack in bathrooms broken. Split in couch cushion.

The house was purchased in 2010. I have been restoring the house to its original state when it was built in 1911. I appreciate the historic neighborhood and its convenience; a location in midtown between Crown Center and the Plaza.

This property has everything. Every detail has been lovingly provided as it was restored to its previous grandeur. Hardwood flooring with Stickley rugs. Tile bathrooms

The neighborhood is in midtown, a location that is convenient to many of Kansas City's popular attractions - Union Station, Crown Center, LegoLand, Aquarium, the Plaza, Brookside, Sprint Center, Kansas City Power and Light District, yet easy access to the highway system to get out to the Royals/Chiefs stadium the Zoo, Nascar, the Legends, etc.
