Upstairs, the loft adds to your living space. It invites you to curl up with a good book or catch a catnap on the sofa. Great Accomodations

The house was clean, nicely appointed, and offered all the amenities we could want. All the bedrooms were large, and most had an en suite bathroom. The hot tub and fire pit were great, and the view from the deck made outdoor dinners delightful. We will be back!

A home made for entire families.

Awesome. This 5 bedroom home allowed each family to have their own sleeping arrangements. The kitchen is stocked twitch a cooking lover’s dream and the game room was ideal for every age. We truly enjoyed our stay.

If you want a great view

Beautiful home with really nice view from the deck. Beds were comfortable and kitchen well stocked with cooking items. Game room is above the garage and is cold (even in the fall) since there is no interior door to close off the garage. Air hockey and ping pong table were broken. The home needs a deep clean- it was a bit dusty and the bathrooms need to be cleaned better. Good location with easy access to hiking trails, Oakland shops and Simon Pierce.

There was a leak in one of the bedrooms coming from a utility room which made carpet damp and it had a mildew smell. The game room was also very hot even though heat was at lowest possible temperature. Everything else was in great condition with exception of the pillows...they are deflated and could use replacing.

Great Views. Great Time. Great House.

Had a group of 9 stay for an extended weekend to kick off summer season. The house received rave reviews from everyone and each level had a great view of the lake that provided a beautiful back drop for a weekend of reconnecting and relaxing. Every bedroom came with a king and was super comfortable. The 2 upstairs had a bench/ledge under the window for people to sit in the comfort of their room and enjoy the view. The lounge outside of the upstairs room was spacious. We spent most of our time on the main level where the layout allowed for easy conversation regardless of whether someone was in the kitchen, sitting at the table or in front of the TV. And the view!!! The deck is very spacious for a group to sit out, enjoy the weather and the view of the lake. The 'porch' was an awesome addition to relax when it rained. The kitchen was the centerpiece for us and it came stocked with everything you need to cook meals for everyone. On the lower level, the living area was incredibly comfy and provided easy access to the hot tub and the fire pit. Just so much relaxing places, one might forget the full size game room above the garage!!! The proximity to WISP is also very appealing. From wilderness trails, to adventure activities and the escape room we failed miserably to get out of, everyone had a very memorable time. Each time, coming back to the house was a treat! Even the small maintenance issues (the drain in one of the bathrooms was clogged) was addressed promptly and without much hassle. Definitely looking to return to this awesome property. Great when you can have 9 detailed oriented people leave with no complaints.

We had a great stay! House is just fantastic. So well maintained, spotless, and offers great views. It is good to note the dock is a few miles away. We called a couple of times asking questions and the property manager was super helpful and kind. There are many great places to gather in this home and spread out. Would be great for a retreat group as well as families and friends who like to spend time together and have their own space.

Relaxing weekend

Excellent cabin, we’ve stayed at many places in deep creek. The king size beds were appreciated and one of the best views of the lake I’ve had.

Best Rental Property Yet

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: By far the best rental property that we have stayed at over the past 10 years. Location was great. It provided privacy yet was convenient to restaurants, shopping and kids activities. The bedroom layout was perfect for our family with the grown up couples taking the top two floors and my son's family in the basement. This was by far the best stocked kitchen of any rental property that we have stayed at and the pantry was out of sight. It was nice to actually have white and red wine glasses and sufficient dishes to not have to rush to wash them after every meal. Views from the deck, especially at sunset were fantastic. All the beds were extremely comfortable and the house was immaculately clean. The fire pit was extensive use during the evenings. The screened in porch and sitting area in the loft became two of the favorite places for the readers in our family. The game room was nice and all enjoyed playing foosball and ping pong on the raining days. The one down side of this property was the air hockey take which is in really terrible shape and unplayable. It really needs to be replaced or removed. Otherwise the house and vacation was perfect.

The vacation home is very big with lots of room to spread out. There are 5 master king bedrooms with three different levels for living rooms. The kitchen is well equipped except for measuring cups and spoons. The teflon pans that are badly scratched need to be replaced, but that is the only things that needed improved! It is a very nice rental home with fabulous views and lots of space.

Reviewer Comments: For the sixth year in a row, my family has visited Deep Creek and for the fourth year we have had the pleasure of staying in Highland's Heaven. Our grandchildren fondly call it "our lake house" and look forward to our visit each year. We have found local restaurants that we look forward to visiting each year. In addition to the restaurants, we also enjoy Wisp, go carting, and the lake. Walking in the neighborhood is always enjoyed by young and old alike. We enjoy the neighborhood pool when the weather is cooperative. Our only request would be that the playground slide be given some attention. We enjoy our visit and look forward to visitng Deep Creek in 2019.

Great Week Away... with a hitch

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Everything with this house was great, except for the connection to the internet. The service provided as broadband is only 2MBps. This means that for each of the 12 people (assuming you fill each room with 2 people) will each have dialup speeds if they are all using their cell phone only. We called the service number, the gentleman came up to unlock the owners closet and reset the router, which is also who explained the speed limitation and the ability of the owner to upgrade that plan. I called TaylorMade about this, they did not followup. The catch to this beautiful house, if you want to have wifi access to the internet, call ahead and ask if this was addressed... unless you are renting the house alone, then it is possible to be ok. The house itself is great, the design is very cabin feeling, but the walls are not well insulated. I could hear everything above and below me once everyone went to bed. Just sharing as a note of caution there as well. Overall, my family had a great time.

The master is big enough to fit an air mattress as well! Plenty of space for everyone to gather around, play games and eat as one big group. The only issue we had was the oven. The door did not seem to close tight allowing hot air out. Because of that food that should take 5-10 minutes to cook took 20-30 minutes to cook.

Went on the computer and picked a house we liked. Highlands Heaven is rented through Taylor Made real estate. What a beautiful home. It was clean and fully equipped with averything you could possibly need. King beds so comfy, games for everyone, the kitchen was just amazing. Beautiful, beautiful home! Taylor Made, you made this vacation perfect. Renting the property, checking in, checking out, was the easiest best experience we ever had. While we were there we had sleet than snow. The driveway into the property is very steep and was very icey. Taylor Made’s crew came and plowed and salted the driveway. We didn’t even have to call them. When we arrived we notice one of the sliding doors would not lock. I went to the store for some groceries and stopped buy the office and told them about the door. The door was fixed in less than half an hour. What a great company. We do not sky, but we sure did enjoy tubbing at Whisp which was right down the road. Best Christmas Eve
