Reviewer Comments:
Rental property was very nice, larger than we expected. Loved the deck area.
We enjoyed our stay at this little cabin. The loft was loft for the kids and there was great separation of space. The common areas were cozy and nice, and the beds were comfortable. Not a large space, but our party of 8 was comfortable. We had everything we needed for a quick weekend trip. Thank you!

Very nice home, quiet and surrounded by beautiful forest. Comfortable beds. Lovely deck but no chairs so bring your own. Sunriver is a maze so be sure to map your route to the property in advance (especially with limited cell coverage). Would definitely stay again.

Reviewer Comments:
The cabin was very comfortable and a perfect size for our family. The location was excellent. This property had a nice deck which included a BBQ. The washer/dryer should be updated.
The cabin was clean and a great size for my family of 5 and 2 grandparents! Great amenities!
This property had everything we needed except air condition BUT when I contacted the company when I realized how hot it was going to be they went above and beyond and supplied a portable a/c unit. They were incredibly amazing and saved our vacation! The a/c unit worked very well and we were very comfortable! Great staff, cabin, location, and amenities! Definitely recommend! Also important to note this cabin faced woods and felt private as well as did not have the sun beating in the windows or sliding glass doors which was great! Cabin also had bikes which was great to ride around and explore!
There was a total of 6 adults that stayed here. The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked, and the washer and dryer worked very well.
The house is really in need of updating. It felt like the decor, bedding, appliances were items that used to be in their home. The kitchen sink is stained and chipped, the bedding is that of the 80's. The refrigerator, while it worked fine, could be updated so that you can dispense water and ice from it rather than the cracked ice cube trays that leaked all over the freezer causing me to chip the freezer clear of all the frozen water that collected due to that.
The bikes are very old. There are 3 adult bikes and 2 for children. One adult bike was useable. One had a popped tire, and the other was an old fashioned cruiser with no gears. In Sunriver you need a bike with gears, so we had to rent bikes since 2 of them were virtually unusable.
The back deck is large and comfortable. They provide deck furniture, and the surrounding area is very nice.
As far as convenience to the stores and village, I would not consider it walking distance. You need your bike to get around from the cabin. I would say it's about a 7 minute bike ride.
The blinds were a pain to open and close because they were the VERY OLD slats that you push back and forth, and after having to continually put slats back on that popped off, we just left them open for the rest of our stay.
The kitchen is very small, if you are staying for a long time, keep that in mind, however, again it is very well stocked with just about everything you would need in a kitchen.
The coffee table in the living area had a damaged leg, so everytime you wanted to move it you had to lift the table up and then set it down. There are 2 bathrooms and they were fine. They offered a nice roomy shed for items to be stored and locked up. That was nice.
Overall, we had a decent 11 day stay, however, we agreed that for the price we paid, it wasn't worth that and we will rent a different place next visit. I'm sorry for the negative feedback, but I'm just trying to be as honest as possible.

Reviewer Comments:
Overall, good. Pros: The rental company staff was professional, polite, and informative when contacted. The property was definitely clean, bed and bathroom linens provided, dishes, silverware, etc.Once found, parking was easy, location was positive. Cons: The house wasn't quite ready at 5 pm as advertised, so we went to dinner first. We have been coming to Sunriver for 30 years and have used many rental agencies. This was the first time with this one. We were unfamiliar with the location of both the rental company and the condo, so we definitely hoped to avoid the in-the-dark Sunriver roundabouts-of-doom search. We did not get a physical map of the location UNTIL we finally found the rental office, in the dark, after several failed attempts and increasing frustration. Directions like "turn left at the Shell station, go past the elementary school on the left, turn right into the NONDESCRIPT cluster of buildings on the right with no RENTAL COMPANY SIGN to find the also UNMARKED lockbox where the requisite map is, if you pass such-and-so, you've gone too far" would have helped. Our three GPS sources (Google Maps, car, and Android) struggled to find the rental office based on the physical address. Our unit advertised bicycles, so we didn't bring ours. In the condo, we found a key labeled "Bike storage" but never found anything it opened, including the bike-sized storage building off the deck... We did not call the office number to ask, so that's on us, but it was frustrating. We missed (somewhere) that the unit was NOT air conditioned. Sunriver had been having triple-digit heat. We lucked out with 70's and 80's in the daytime, 50's at night, and an abundance of fans in the house, but initially there was great concern. This is an older group of condos, small, with no hot tubs or anything like that. Currently, demand certainly exceeds supply; it appears the rates are what the market will bear... I would be very candid in recommending this-
We really liked the rooms and their arrangement and the condition of rooms was fine. We couldn't get the furnace to respond well to punching the button up or down. For safety the "OFF" position on kitchen stove dials need to be re-painted to make them easy to discern. Loved having a crock pot "for next time" when I will use it for the long ski day. Map for house access was a bit confusing - old map perhaps? I left a note with feedback in the "key return" envelope.. Thanks so much.

The cabin met our needs as we were actively participating in outdoor activities. I would recommend that housekeeping or maintenance routinely check (and replace) burnt out light bulbs.
Great place that met all our needs for the 8 of us. Definitely would rent this again.

Overall the cabin is well maintained, but showing it's age. The bed was very comfortable. I was a little grossed out that there were two old soap patties left in the downstairs shower, especially this after being asked to pay another $47 for our stay so that Sunset Lodging could stay competitive in wages. I was disappointed that Sunset Lodging decided t add on the wages surcharge to existing reservations. It almost made me cancel, and I would have it had not been our anniversary. I understand the need for the surcharge, I guess, but it should have only been added to upcoming reservations. Also I am used to rental units having some essentials such as salt pepper and at least some creamer packets in the unit. There was a little salt and pepper in the containers, but not much. No other spices.
Sleeps 8 comfortable. Kitchen is a little tight for space. Great location. Cozy cabin

Reviewer Comments:
Our cabin was ok. It really needs some up dating. The stove burner didn’t heat up so quickly. The refrigerator door needed a little extra push to close. The furnace was load when it was on. Thank goodness for the wood stove. It was a great addition to the place. Also the big pile of fire wood. The kitchen was just right in size and dishes. The beds were all comfortable. Plenty of towels for all.Overall the place is nice but needs a little TLC.
Our trip was great- the accommodations are very accurately reflected on the site. It was a little dated in some areas, the carpet was cleaned but has seen better days. The firewood was great to have handy, a little kindling would be a great addition. Very comfortable furniture. Beds were a little small- but were more than sufficient. Would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful and peaceful location. The condo was well stocked and in good condition. If the management company could clean the carpet and treat the soiled spots that would make this place great - our child was crawling around on the the carpets and it felt very unclean. Other than that, I would highly recommend!
The cabin is a little dated in its decor but in a charming kind of way. There's pretty much everything you'll need and having a grill to use was great. Cabin 20 seemed like the best of the lot because the back deck was the most private.

Reviewer Comments:
We had a lovely holiday ski week at Cluster Cabin #20. It's generally comfortable and well equipped. The kitchen is small but has all the dishes and utensils and cooking ware we could want. Except an espresso machine :-) The living room stove is toasty warm and has plenty of firewood. It was clean and check-in was straightforward. It's a good size for three couples. The location is convenient to Sunriver Village and also retains the feel of being in the forest. Overall, it met our expectations. But the lack of snow in late December reminded us skiers of our climate crisis, and houses like this one are part of the problem. It's leaky and inefficient. Cold air pours in from the doors and windows. The wood stove lacks a duct for combustion air from outside. The gas furnace runs almost continuously at 25F outdoor temperature. No LED lighting. Some basic changes would save the owners on energy costs and make it more comfortable. The furnace should be replaced with an electric heat pump with heat-recovery ventilator; this would also provide AC for the summer. A heat-pump water heater would cost and pollute less. An induction stovetop would be safer and faster than a gas cooktop. To aid in cleaning up our transportation, the parking area should have a level 2 EV charger and expansion options for more. Sunriver is served by Cascade Natural Gas, whose only product is apparently fracked gas which has a horrible climate impact. Sunriver electricity is provided by Pacific Power. Two thirds of their standard electricity comes from coal plants which also have terrible climate and toxic emissions impacts; but they do offer Blue Sky renewable electricity. The owners should sign up for renewable electricity (as Mt. Bachelor has) and feature it. It's time to wake up and take responsibility for our carbon footprints. The same can probably be said of most Sunriver properties. Knowledgeable renters will increasingly demand lodgin
