Chez42 is a newly built apartment with modern fixtures and fittings 10 minutes walk from the lake and Saint-Jorioz beach and less than 15 minutes walk from the town centre. It is also within easy cycling distance of Annecy via a cycle track which passes within 200m of the apartment. This convenient location means there is a whole host of things to do and see, either with or without a car.
The apartment measuring 42m2 can comfortably accommodate 4 people and is equipped to a very high standard. 1 double bedroom on the mezzanine level and a second bedroom on the ground floor with 2 single beds - all bedding/mattresses are of good quality. The living area has a wall mounted TV, large dining table and free WIFI.
The corner kitchen is well equipped including a dishwasher. The modern bathroom includes high quality shower and bath. Outdoor seating area with parasol and barbecue.

We provide baby equipment on request, travel cot, high chair... Beds made and all towels and household linen provided as part of the inclusive tariff.

Private parking in the courtyard directly in front of the apartment secured at night behind an electric gate. Bike/ski storage available.

Wonderful stay in the mountain view house

We loved our stay at Jennifers guest house! She is very welcoming and made sure we had a great stay. The house is close to the lake and has a great view of the mountains. The bicycles where useful to go around the lake. Accommodation is very well equipped with all things needed. We had a great stay and would love to come back!

Great little base

My wife and i stayed in Jennifer's apartment for a week in September 2016. We had a great time and throughly enjoyed ourselves. The property is great and I would completely recommend it to others looking for a compact but well fitted base for exploring the Lake Annecy area without being in the centre of town. The property has 2 comfortable bedrooms and a small but well appointed and fully stocked kitchen/living space. The appliances and fittings are excellent quality and match the service and hosting from Jennifer which could not have been more helpful. Highly recommended.

Excellent Séjour - Fantastic Holiday

Propriétaire très accueillante et très attentionnée. Appartement bien aménagé, salle de bain fantastique, vue magnifique, cuisine bien fournie. Emplacement idéal pour toutes les activités sportives et culturelles, surtout pour le vélo/roller et la baignade au lac. Nous sommes ravis de notre séjour et espérons revenir prochainement! Owner really looked after us. The apartment was beautifully done out and had everything you could need. Located a short walk away from the lake and very close to the cycle path which runs all the way down the side of the lake. Great for cycling and rollerblading. Easy access to the shops and restaurants. I would definitely go back.

Wonderful location. Fantastic property. Warm and welcoming hosts.

There is so much to see and do in the Annecy area including gentle or challenging walks, long bike rides on the flat or up steep mountain roads, wandering in the amazing Annecy which is a mini Venice, visiting little villages, going for boat rides, canoeing on the beautiful lake Annecy, and driving through country roads with stunning scenery of snow capped mountains and pristine lakes....or you can just sit still and soak up the atmosphere and the scenery from the many vantage points on the lake. Our apartment at Chez 42 in Saint Jorioz is the most comfortable and well appointed accommodation we have stayed in over the many years of our European travels. The views of the mountains from the windows of the apartment are spectacular. We spent many hours sitting watching the paragliders floating high up in the snow capped peaks. Add to this the wonderfully warm welcome from our hosts who made every effort to ensure that we had the best possible holiday, and you have the ultimate in holiday destinations.

Die Lage der Wohnung ist prima, in Seenähe. Die Wohnung ist zweckmäßig eingerichtet und das obere Schlafzimmer hat einen schönen Ausblick auf die Berge. Das Bad und zweite Schlafzimmer sind allerdings ohne bzw. mit nur kleinem Fenster, was aus den Bildern nicht ersichtlich war. Trotzdem eine sehr schöne Wohnung.

Très belle semaine de vacances à Saint-Jorioz

Un grand merci à Jennifer et Richard, pour leur hospitalité et leur bienveillance. Nous avons passé une très belle semaine de vacances dans leur appartement, très fonctionnel, bien équipé et très propre ! Tout le linge de maison est fourni, ce qui est très appréciable. L’emplacement est idéal, à quelques minutes de la plage de Saint-Jorioz et à proximité immédiate de la piste cyclable qui permet d’aller sur Annecy en vélo ou de faire de belles balades en longeant le lac !

Très bonnes vacances à proximité du Lac d'Annecy

Appartement idéalement situé proche de la plage de Saint-Jorioz et de la piste cyclable qui fait le tour du lac. Appartement au calme et très bien équipé. La propriétaire est très sympathique et à l'écoute durant tout le séjour. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir.

Beautiful apartment with excellent hosts

We have just come home from a long weekend stay. The property is lovely with plenty of room for 4 adults. Everything is provided .... full catering facilities, bedding and towels in a spotlessly clean apartment. Jennifer, the host, is very welcoming and helpful. St.Joroiz is located amongst the most beautiful surroundings, next to Lake Annecy. It has plenty of outdoor activities, both on land and water, with restaurants open even in the winter months- We shall count the days until we are back, and would certainly stay here again.

Perfekt for den aktive familie, og fantastisk værtskab fra udlejer

Vi er en aktiv familie på 4, med cykel, løb og svømning, der varmt kan anbefale lejligheden og området omkring Annecy søen. Vores ophold var i 7 dage, som umiddelbart er for få dage til at udforske hele det skønne område. Der er cykler til rådighed i lejligheden, hvilket er genialt. 8 km/30 min. cykeltur i roligt tempo til Annecy by langs søen og på cykelsti. Vi lejede dog racercykler for at køre i bjergene (næste gang tager vi dog vores egne racercykler med). Åbent vand svømning om morgenen ved byen Duingt, der kan nåes på cykel fra lejligheden på 15 min via cykelsti.. Løb i området er meget nemt og ukompliceret. Badestranden er kun 5 min på cykel fra Lejligheden . Sandstrand med udspringstårn. Prisen er 1 EU for børn og 2,5 EU indtil kl. 17.30 (herefter gratis). Vi mødte en utrolig mødekommenhed, hjælpsomhed, venlighed og humorfyldt udlejer (Jennifer), der var med til at gøre vores ophold endnu bedre. Vi vil rigtig gerne tilbage.

Superbe emplacement et très bel accueil de la propriétaire.

Avons passés un très bon séjour chez 42. Emplacement calme, reposant et très près du lac. Appartement disposant de toutes les commodités. Vélos à disposition, très appréciable. Far too brief of a stay...

This special duplex apartment was the perfect place to stay in the Lake Annecy area. The owners are the nicest people and a warm welcome for weary travelers. They had the answer to all of our questions about things to see and do in the region. We felt lucky to nab this VRBO because the view is post card worthy. The night sky is stunning. The early morning view is equally as good. The neighborhood has a dairy farm so the cows were out to pasture and the kids loved the bike path and lake beach. We would recommend this place to any family of four or fewer that loves water sports, winter sports, and triathletes. We hope to return ASAP.

" CHEZ 42" : une adresse proche du Paradis !

Bonjour à tous Par ces quelques lignes, nous souhaitons remercier l'hospitalité des propriétaires du : "chez 42" Le dynamisme et la positive attitude de notre hôtesse font que cela nous permet réellement de se déconnecter des tracasseries et de décompresser loin du travail ! La propreté"clinic" du logement et son côté fonctionnel, l'abri verrouillé pour nos vélos électriques ainsi que le prêt d'autres vélos à la demande la possibilité d'autoriser, en dernière minute, l'hébergement d'amis Le logement accolé à l'habitation, mais sans aucun vis à vis, nous permet une grande liberté ! A dispo : Du linge à volonté , une "Nespresso" et ces dosettes multicolores ! (Free !) Multicolore c'est exactement les couleurs que l'on peut voir au quotidien, à Saint Jorioz, en levant la tête (montagnes et parapentistes), ou en scrutant le lac d'Annecy , avirons et paddles ou sky surf en cas de force 8 !(dernière semaine de juin) Faune et flore sont également visibles j'ai un faible pour les cygnes du lac et leur derniers nés (7) Et oui ; "chez 42" se trouve à quelques enjambées de la crique de St Jo, où il est possible de louer paddle, pédalo, kayak ou chaises pour simplement rien faire ! À noter également, à 7", pied, le restaurant familial " les Tilleuls" où qualité rime avec petit budget C'est toujours un excellent séjour que nous passons au "chez 42" Je recommande fortement cette adresse ! Nota : Jennifer aura toujours une solution pour vous faire oublier vos soucis de dernières minutes vous permettant de profiter pleinement de votre séjour Une adresse proche du paradis !! Je recommande à 300% 😎😃

Lovely apartment in a perfect location with great hosts

My husband, three year old daughter and I have just returned from our stay here. The apartment is in the perfect quiet location, close to everything you need with great access to all activities around the lake, and only about 30 minutes from Geneva airport. The apartment has everything we needed, very comfortable beds, a well equipped kitchen (with coffee machine) dishwasher, washing machine etc literally everything you need to make it feel like home. They’ve even thought of black out blinds and night lights around the apartment if you want them, (very handy for younger kids)! The views from the apartment, especially the top bedroom are spectacular. They have an array of bikes to use for all ages, including a toddler bike with staberlisers which our daughter loved and a trailer for an adult bike which she enjoyed being pulled along in. We used the bikes everyday as it was more convenient than the car to get around the lake and cycling to Annecy only took about 20 - 25 minutes using the cycle path located a 2 min ride from the apartment. The sandy beach is just under a 10 minute ride away and is a lovely place to enjoy the lake from. We cycled the whole cycle path around the lake on one of our days which is a great way to see all the beautiful villages. The hosts Jennifer and Richard are great, very welcoming and friendly and happy to share all their knowledge and experience about the area. The apartment is attached to their home yet they do an amazing job of making it very private for their guests. Jennifer and Richard are charming hosts and this was the perfect place to stay. We will definitely return to lake Annecy and to this apartment.

Un séjour parfait!

Mon mari e moi nous avons passé deux semaines trés reposantes dans cet appartement. On y trouve tout dont on a besoin. Tout est comme dans la description. Jennifer und Richard waren sehr herzliche und aufmerksame Gastgeber. Vielen Dank für das Überraschungsgeschenk beim Empfang, den Kaffee und Tee! Wir haben die Stunden in der gemütlichen Galerie im ersten Stockwerk sehr genossen. Von dort hat man einen fabelhaften Blick auf das Gebirge. Saint Jorioz eignet sich ideal für einen Urlaub am Lac d´ Annecy. Man ist sehr schnell in Annecy und dem Gebirge. Gut gefallen hat uns auch, dass wir sehr gute Fahrräder benutzen und auf dem nah gelegenen Radweg damit fahren konnten. Wir können die Ferienwohnung bestens empfehlen!
