Enjoy the romantic and relaxing atmosphere of this quiet enchanting island whilst staying in Casa Lamberti a traditional house situated close to the lakeshore. L'Isola Superiore dei Pescatori owes its name to the activity of its inhabitants and certainly has the most character of all the Borromeo islandson Lake Maggiore. A land in the midel of the lake, spectacularly framed by the Alps. The fascination of this island lies in the traditional simplicity and rustic candour of its houses. In the narrow alleys you will find restaurants, providing local fish, bar, kiosk and small shops.Cars are not admitted on the Island and it is connected to Stresa(3 stops) and Baveno (1 stop) by a regular public boat service(8.00am/7.00pm)or private boats.

morgens von der Insel aufbrechen, um die Umgebung des Largo Maggiores zu erkunden und Nachmittags zurück, wenn die Touristenmassen abreisen .... wie unterschiedlich doch so eine Insel wirken kann. Super Aufenthalt, tolle Restaurants und ein Perspektivwechsel, den wir empfehlen - für einige Tage. Netter Vermieter, prompte Absprachen. Überrascht hat uns die Ausstattung mit Reiseführern in deutscher Sprache

Traumhafte Erholung

Nachdem des letzte Passagierschiff die Touristen wieder von der Insel holte, kehrt eine erholsame Ruhe ein. Das treiben der Touristen um die kleine Insel lässt sich von dem schönen Balkon aus verfolgen und man kann dabei dennoch sehr gut entspannen und den Urlaub geniessen. 2 kleine Läden versorgen einem mit Lebensmitteln und Getränken, so dass man ohne einen Landtrip zum Einkaufen auskomt. Bei der Wohnung handelt es sich um ein ursprüngliches Fischerhaus, da sollte man keinen allzu grossen Luxus erwarten, es ist jedoch alles vorhanden für einen entspannten Urlaub. Wir haben es zum 2.ten Mal sehr genossen und bedanken uns bei unseren Vermietern sehr. Bis zum nächsten Urlaub!dem notwendigengeniesssen

Ein ganz spezielles Urlaubserlebnis!

Wie gesagt ist es etwas spezielles. Wir wurden ganz schnell zu einheimischen Insulanern und die Stimmung auf der Insel wenn der letzte Tourist die I. Pescatori verlassen hat ist schon einzigartig und schön. Wir waren ja mit Beginn des Herbstfahrplanes angekommen und da muss man sich halt mit dem ausgedünnten Fahrplan und dem verkürzten Öffnungszeiten auf der Insel arrangieren. Also Einkaufen nicht vergessen und dann steht dem Genuss auch nichts mehr im Wege. Danke für die schöne Zeit und an Marco für die Geduld bei unserer verspäteten Ankunft.

Super vacances

Notre hôte a été formidable (parle très bien le français ),parking gratuit (j'y ai laissé ma voiture une semaine sans problèmes ). L'appartement été propre et très accueillant ,bien situé ! De notre île on peut rapidement se rendre dans tout les lieux a visiter (prévoir un petit budget pour les navettes en bateaux) . Voila des vacances originales qui sortent des sentiers battus ,la région est très belle , la ville de Stresa magnifique.... Je recommande vivement !!! Merci mr M.

Aufenthalt casa lamberti 14.7.23-23.7.23

Wir hatten eine gute und erholsame Zeit in der Ferienwohnung. Die Vermieter Marco und Lilia waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Lage auf der Insel war top!!! Vom Balkon aus hatten wir einen wunderbaren Blick auf den See und die Berge gegenüber, was wir jeden Abend genossen. Das Wetter war auch hervorragend. Das essen im Ristorante la Rondine war auch top. Vielen Dank und ganz herzliche Grüße Isi und Walter

Prima Ferienwohnung in wunderschöner Location

Die Unterkunft ist für drei Personen ideal. Unschlagbar ist der Balkon, von dem man einen tollen Rundumblick hat. Bad/Dusche mit Bidet, Küche haben wir nicht benutzt, ist klein, aber voll ausgestattet. Der Hausherr war jederzeit bei Fragen zu erreichen und spricht englisch. Wir waren vier Tage dort und haben die Insel als erholsamen Abschluss unseres Urlaubs genossen. Entspannung pur!

Inselidylle im Lago Maggiore

Die Ferienwohnung hat eine wunderbare Lage auf der Insel. Wir haben alles der Beschreibung entsprechend vorgefunden. Marco und Lilia waren sehr freundliche Gastgeber, die uns auch noch mit Tipps versorgt haben. Traumhaft war der Ausblick vom großen Balkon aus. Der fehlende 5. Punkt bei der Sauberkeit, war der Kühlschrank, alles andere war so, dass wir einen rundum schönen Urlaub verbracht haben.

Super Ferien auf einer Trauminsel

Die Insel ist echt toll, ab 18 Uhr menschenleer und man kann sie richtig genießen. Lange, enge Gassen und ein See ringsherum der zum verweilen an jeder Ecke einlädt. Die Wohnung hatte alles was man braucht,eine komplett ausgestattete Küche, Sauberkeit und einen traumhaften Balkon. Die schiffsverbindungen sind auch super. Man kann problemlos innerhalb von 30min Stresa, baveno, pallanza, isola belle und isola Madre erreichen. Baden geht auch gut auf der Insel,aber wir haben dies jeweils immer am Abend gemacht, wo wir zurück waren von unseren Tagesausflüge. Der Kontakt mit dem Besitzer war auch hervorragend. Danke für die schönen Tage. Wir kommen sicher wieder.

Insel-Erholung auf Isola Superiore

Freundlicher Empfang und Einführung durch Marco. Tagsüber viel Touristischer Trubel auf der Insel dem man mit Ausflügen aufs Festland mit wandern und biken entfliehen kann. Abends und Morgens ist die Insel und vor allem der Blick vom schönen Balkon auf den Lago, auf die Berge - ein Traum und Erholung pur. Jerderzeit wieder. Empfehlenswert

Erholung pur

Tolle Lage direkt am See. Wir gingen oft nach 18.00 Uhr schwimmen im Lago Maggiore wenn die Insel "Touristen frei" war. Die Vermieter waren auch sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Es war wirklich Erholung pur. Sehr empfehlenswert.

erholsames Inselleben

Wer Erholung sucht, findet hier eine Wohnung im 2.Stock, die auch tagsüber vor den vielen BesucherInnen der Insel Ruhe bietet, die von 10-18Uhr die Insel überschwemmen. Zum Kochen ist sind alle notwendigen Utensilien vorhanden (Einkaufen in Stresa / Baveno u.a.), oder es gibt gute Lokale. Schlafzimmer und Ess/Wohnzimmer bieten einfachen Komfort, alles top sauber, auch das Duschbad. Am Besten ist der Balkon mit Blick über den See auf die Berge zwischen Stresa und Baveno, mit wenigen Handgriffen ist für Schatten gesorgt. Wir haben uns sehr gut erholt. Auch der Kontakt zum freundlichen Vermieter war sehr hilfreich, Fragen können gerne gestellt werden, super war auch alles nötige für unsere verspätete Ankunft zu regeln .... Gerne empfehlen wir diese Unterkunft weiter!

Great lakeside property on lovely island

We stayed for a memorable week in the top flat with the balcony. Balcony is superb. Flat had all conveniences we needed (including a well-stocked store cupboard of basics) combined with period decor. Thoroughly recommended for a couple. Plenty of decent (in fact very good!) restaurants for evenings - the cheaper ones only do lunch.

Geniale Lage auf wundervoller Insel

Die Ferienwohnung von Lilia und Marco Magnani liegt auf der malerischen Isola dei Pescatori und bietet einen traumhaften Blick auf den See vom Schlafzimmer wie vom sehr großen Balkon. Einen schöneren Blick beim Frühstücken oder Abendessen kann keines der zahlreichen Restaurants der Gegend bieten! Das Rauschen des Lago Maggiore ist eine allgegenwärtige, traumhafte Untermalung zum Aufenthalt in der sehr charmanten, authentischen, gemütlichen Wohnung, die auch sonst alles bietet, was das Urlauberherz begehrt. Im Juni war auch noch erstaunlich wenig los in dieser Gegend und weder die Insel noch die sonstigen touristischen Ziele waren so überlaufen, wie man es sonst vom Lago Maggiore kennt und hört. Der Fährverkehr nach Stresa oder Baveno funktioniert zuverlässig und einwandfrei. Wir werden die Zeit dort immer in bester Erinnerung behalten und können die Wohnung nur empfehlen.

Bella Isola dei Pescatori

Tolle Lage, sehr schöne Wohnung in einem alten Fischerhaus auf der kleinen Isola dei Pescatori - wie aus dem Bilderbuch. Eine einsame Insel ist es tagsüber nicht gerade, aber in der Zeit kann man den Rest des Sees erkunden und ist dafür morgens und abends fast allein, eine ganz besondere Atmosphäre. Die Wohnung mit dem großen Balkon ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtet, blitzsauber und hat alles, was man braucht, unter anderem sehr nette Vermieter!

Peace and quiet on Pescatore

We had a lovely relaxing 6 night stay in the apartment. Marco welcomed us with a bottle of prosecco and arranged for an easy collection of the keys. We were able to contact him via text when needed (there is wi-fi). The apartment was clean and the balcony a sunny area where we could sit and watch the boats and day trippers come and go. During the day the island gets very busy; in contrast at night time once the last restaurant boats leave it was silent. Pescatore is well served by ferries (usually one every 30 minutes until 7 pm) and we enjoyed our trips to Isola Bella. Isola Madre, Stresa and Pallavicino Park (beautiful park and small zoo). Went to Baveno on market day but wouldn't recommend it. There is a good choice of restaurants on the island although those with a view of the lake were very popular and keen on a quick service so as to clear the table ready for the next diners. Some evenings we spent dining in with our own view of the lake. Carrefour in Stresa is a good place to stock up as the grocery store on the island itself had only a very limited selection of food. We felt quite sad when it was time to leave and will certainly stay here again in the future.

We loved the island life!

My sister and I had a wonderful 4 day stay on Isola dei Pescatori. It's a special place and we loved watching the coming and going from the big balcony of Mario and Lilia's place. We spend most of our time there, eating, reading, sun bathing and enjoying our time to rest and relax.

Faszinierender Inselaufenthalt

Wir verbrachten nach Ostern eine Woche im Feriendomizil der Familie Magnani auf der Isola Superiore (Isola dei Pescatori). Zwar fanden wir nicht die erhofften warmen Sonnentage auf der Alpensüdseite - das Wetter war eher kühl und regnerisch. Trotzdem haben wir viel unternommen und viel gesehen, und der Aufenthalt in der Ferienwohnung in einem der schönen alten Häuser der Insel war sehr angenehm und bleibt unvergesslich. Als wir abreisen mussten, war es uns schon zur lieben Gewohnheit geworden, am Morgen mit dem Schiff nach Baveno überzusetzen, um von dort Ausflüge in die nähere und weitere Umgebung zu unternehmen, und abends auf die Insel zurückzukehren. Die Wohnung selbst lag im zweiten Stock des Hauses, und von der großen überdachten Loggia genossen wir den Blick über den See. Wohn- und Schlafzimmer waren geräumig und gemütlich ausgestattet. Das große Doppelbett bescherte einen guten Schlaf, zu dem aber auch die absolute nächtliche Ruhe auf der Insel beitrug. Wir bedanken uns bei Familie Magnani herzlich für ihre Gastfreundschaft und empfehlen die Ferienwohnung sehr gerne weiter.

Wunderhübsche kleine Insel

Die Insel ist sehr gut angebunden, man kann vieles unternehmen, wenn es einem auf der Insel langweilig oder gar zu trubelig werden sollte. Das Panorama von unserem Balkon haben wir sehr genossen. Alle Insulaner sind furchtbar nett, ebenso die Vermieter, die extra anreisen mussten. Die Wohnung ist mit allem ausgestattet. Wir würden gerne wieder kommen.
