Luxury 4 Bd Family Cabin In The Exclusive Castle Glen Estates

Our cabin is located in Castle Glen Estates -- Big Bear’s exclusive luxury community that sits on a hilltop overlooking Big Bear Lake and the ski resorts. Just a 5 minute drive down the hill leads you to everything -- the lake, ski slopes, restaurants and shopping. Our family friendly, beautifully furnished custom log cabin home (2,500 square foot) on a 13,000 sq. foot lot is on a hillside location with multiple decks for enjoying the fantastic mountain views. The backyard is completely fenced in and you can hike and explore right outside the back gate in the Eagle Preserve National Forest. During the winter there are many sledding areas.

This four-bedroom, three bathroom log cabin home is complemented by T&G vaulted ceilings and wood finish throughout. Custom lighting treatments throughout include ceiling fans and extensive use of wood and log accents in the interior. All of the furniture is custom made with many of the pieces hand carved to add to the feel of a luxury cabin.

On the main living area, an open Great Room floor plan with a casual flow from living to dining room to kitchen and outdoor decks is ideal for entertaining and family activities. Cozy up to a wonderful fireplace or be entertained with a 65 inch HD Smart TV. The dining area seats 6 and there is a u-shaped bar surrounding the kitchen that seats 6.

A gourmet kitchen features custom knotty pine cabinetry with crown molding, granite counter tops and all Kitchen aid appliances. Everything you need to cook, bake and entertain is available for your use including all dishes and glassware, utensils, pots and pans, mixing bowls, baking items, serving platters and small kitchen appliances such as a blender, coffee maker and toaster.. The deck just outside the kitchen has a Viking gas grill along with an outdoor dining area with a forest and mountain view. In addition, the deck includes a 6-person Jacuzzi with 36 jets and easy to access in all seasons.

Just off the great room is an office. It has a love seat that opens to a smaller than twin-sized bed (recommended for small child only) as well as a tall dresser to store belongings and a large desk. The built-in dresser is filled with games for kids as well as puzzles and The house has high-speed internet.

There are two bedrooms on the main level including the master bedroom with a king size bed, fireplace, walk-in closet, dresser and opens to the main level deck with the Jacuzzi. The master bedroom has a private bath that includes a relaxing over sized tub and glass enclosed shower. The second bedroom has a queen size bed, dresser and large closet.

Upstairs offers two additional bedrooms. The secondary master has a king size bed, dresser, large closet and opens to an expansive deck with mountain and forest views. The other bedroom is our bunk room that offers one set of twin bunk beds and 2 twin beds (formerly bunk beds), 2 large dressers as well as a flat screen TV with cable.

Guests have full access to a full-size washer and dryer. Free wireless internet access provided. The home comes with fresh towels and beds are made up with fresh linens. There is parking for 3 cars (one in garage and 2 in driveway).

Our cabin is just a few minutes from all the major attractions you came to Big Bear to enjoy. You can relax and browse through our book of ideas for many of the activities nearby including Ski Resorts, Sledding, Boating, Fishing and Kayaking on the lake, hiking right from our backyard, discovery center, biking, zoo, golf, shopping, restaurants as well as a performing arts center. During the winter we may have sleds you can borrow and plenty of room to play in the snow.

MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY IS 10. The house is suitable for a maximum of 6 adults and 4 children or 8 adults and 2 children.

NO SMOKING on or near property. A dog on property must be pre-approved by owner and a $50 pet fee applies.

SUMMER GUESTS: Please note that we now have air conditioning at the house. It was installed in April 2025. In addition, every room has a ceiling fan.
