Bright, Modern Loft. 5 Miles to Ski Resort, National Park, or Downtown Jackson
This two story studio condo lives much larger than a studio. The sleeping loft has one king bed and one single bed on opposite ends. The living area has 16 ft ceilings with large windows. This was my primary residence, and I rent it with all of the luxuries of home, including a fully equipped kitchen with full spice rack, etc. The deck has a seating area and the odds are high that you will see a moose (or a few of them) in the backyard. This upstairs end unit is very quiet and private, despite being very close to great amenities. The dining table seats 7 people comfortably, and the bathroom includes a new washer dryer.
The one disclaimer is that tenants will need to be comfortable with stairs. The loft has a very steep flight of stairs up to the sleeping area, as seen in the photos. There is also a flight of covered exterior stairs that comes up to the unit from the parking lot.

While we didn’t see the infamous moose in the backyard, we saw them elsewhere. The area was perfect location to get to Jackson and Grand Teton NP. As stated in the listing the stairs are steep and the ceilings are low but you’re not spending much time inside with the amazing outdoors minutes away. Would recommend staying here for sure.
My husband and I stayed here for a week. We absolutely loved our stay. The condo was fully stocked with every kitchen item you would need. We also appreciated all the bathroom products available. We had plenty of living space. Very clean, bed was very comfortable. The pictures on line were just how it looks! The location was also great for The Grand Teton National Park, as well as the town of Jackson. The neighborhood was quiet and very safe. We even saw 2 moose out our patio door and 2 on the side of the condo!!
We mostly loved our stay at Charlotte's. The kitchen and living area are spacious, welcoming, and comfortable. My parents stayed in a nearby condo and we spent many evenings at Charlotte's because of the large dining table, full kitchen, and comfy lounging area.
The loft upstairs is incredibly low. I am almost 6ft and my husband is 6ft2. Neither of us could stand up straight because of the low ceiling where the beds are. Charlotte does mention how steep the stairs are and she's not joking. I was terrified of slipping or tripping down them.
I don't know if they're always there, but there were cans of bear spray near the door so you don't have to buy or rent them during your stay!

We spent a significant amount of our trip dealing with issues
There were ants all over the bathroom, used contact lens on coffee table, used breath right strip stuck to tub, no AC with weather well into the 90s during the first week and the loft had zero ventilation, window screens with holes in them, dirty towels in washer left for us to wash when we arrived, the door didn't close closest to the toilet, the dishwasher had food in it, the door handle to the bathroom had fallen off, we spent a significant amount of time on the phone and on email with the owner trying to communicate all of these issues, dealing with two different maintentaince people.. the pest control and property manager. We did received a 3 night refund for all the inconveniences.

I'm so sorry that you did not enjoy your stay. This was an exceptional instance of oversight by the cleaners, which is clearly unacceptable. It has not happened before or since, and we were quick to credit you for 3 nights due to their rare error. In eight years of owning this unit (and living in it) we have never seen ants before or after this stay, and it was taken care of within 24 hrs. We offered to have the door fixed immediately, but the renter preference was to live with it and not have a handyman visit. There are no condos in this area with AC, as even during this stay it was 50 degrees fahrenheit at night and other guests have always found the screened windows over the bed in the loft, the ceiling fan, and loft fan to be very sufficient for ventilation and cooling the loft. There are also four other screened windows in the unit. If AC is a requirement, we recommend searching for it when booking. Upon hearing the concern about AC, we searched for you and found an alternative hotel that does have AC and offered to refund the remainder of your stay if you chose to relocate. Once again, I'm so sorry that you were not happy with your stay and appreciate your candor in bringing these items to our attention. We maintain this unit with great care and immediacy and trust that our future guests will have a great experience, as our other past guests have.
This loft exceeded our expectations in terms of size, location, and CLEANLINESS (whoever does her cleaning does a fantastic job--and I am picky.)
The loft is very nicely appointed, uncluttered, and the owner has made sure you have everything you need. The kitchen is well equipped. She has LOTS of spices and some pantry items. There was ample room downstairs--the square footage may be small but you do no feel it.
She mentions the steep stairs and lower ceiling of the loft but we did not find either to be an issue (and I am a 56 year old woman with not-so-great knees but in good condition. I am 5'9" and my daughter is 6'0").
The location was perfect. Within walking distance to a small market (although outrageously priced but good for things you may have forgotten at the store), a bakery and very close to 2 nice restaurants. The area is very safe, quiet and family oriented.
There is one con to this loft and it is the heat the loft accumulates. We stayed at the end of June when night temps were in the 40's and day temps were lower to mid 80's. There is not central air (which we understand most homes in the area do not have). There was one small, personal fan in the loft but not enough to cool the entire space. We slept with all the windows open but the loft was still very hot at night. If able, bring a larger, oscillating fan and that may help.
This really is a wonderful space and we would stay there again (just maybe in the cooler months).
My husband and I loved our stay at Charlotte's rental. If you are looking for a location that is close to the town of Jackson Hole but is away from all the hustle bustle---this is the perfect place! The location is quiet, safe, connected to bike paths, and is about a 20min drive to Grand Teton National Park.
Charlotte's rental was also very clean and was thoroughly stocked with clean towels, laundry detergent, kitchen/cookware, shampoo/conditioner etc.
I highly recommend her rental!
My husband and I planned an after Christmas get-away in the mountains of Jackson, WY. This was our first time to WY & we could not have been more pleased with this loft! It’s a very cozy spot near the Teton Village & so close to down town. We were also happily surprised with the amenities within walking distance (fitness center, coffee shop, restaurants).
Charlotte was also so great with answering the many questions I had prior to our stay. All in all, cute, cozy loft- perfect for my husband and myself!
We stayed at the condo for a week and really liked it. Perfect location, with easy access to Grand Teton NP and the town of Jackson. The kitchen is very well stocked for cooking meals in. We really loved after-hike beers on the back deck. We'd recommend it and would stay here again when we return to JH.
Condo was very nice and well located. The stairs up to the bedroom loft were pretty steep and the loft ceiling was very low. However, the downstairs great room and kitchen were spacious and well decorated. We would definitely stay here again.
Fabulous property in a great location. So clean. Love the aesthetic. Comfortable bed. Very well stocked. The only thing that stopped us from giving 5 stars was that 1)the loft ceiling is low one cannot stand up completely unless you are exactly in the middle 2) steep stairs up to the front door as well as up to the loft -which was okay for us, but could be problematic for some
Great second story loft property! Full size kitchen, living & bathrooms. We enjoyed the quaint loft and the bed was so comfortable! The loft is a loft with not much head space and a steep climb but that wouldn’t change my mind to stay there again.
I stayed here for a few weeks while working remotely and exploring Grand Teton NP and Yellowstone. The loft was perfect for me! It had everything I needed: fully stocked with cookware and essentials for cooking at home, great location with easy access to groceries, dining and downtown Jackson, quiet and private for relaxation or work, and the bed was so comfy! Charlotte was incredibly helpful in providing recommendations and she was super responsive when I had questions. 10/10 would absolutely visit again!
The loft had everything we needed, was even super warm! We found the bed to be super comfortable, and the wifi was perfect for us to work from home. Specifically, I loved the couch! The kitchen was perfectly stocked to support us cooking the entire stay. Loved the property, thank you so much!
The property was very well furnished, well located, and very clean. The owner was also extremely accommodating and helpful. I would highly recommend the property.
The property was terrific as described. However, it should be noted that the sleeping area in the loft is difficult to manage. I will note that compared to most people we are very fit, healthy and active. The steps are extremely vertical much like ascending a ladder. There is a handrail on one side only. The treads are very narrow as well due to the vertical angle. Once upstairs, headroom is extremely low. We are quite short in stature and still hit our heads. Anyone taller than 5’6” will need to bend over. The bed fills the space and must be crawled over to get in and out. There is a small shelf on the right side, but nothing on the left. Also, no headboard so difficult to read in bed. If you have to use the bathroom at night, it’s quite a production to get out of the bed and negotiate the steps without disturbing anyone. That said, everything else was perfect.
Charlotte was a wonderful host, very responsive, and helpful with suggestions on things to do. The cabin felt like home, it was beautifully and simply decorated. Every detail was so thoughtful - the kitchen included everything from a well stocked spice rack to a Brita water filter to extra water bottles to hike with. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the extra fan upstairs in the loft helped keep it cool. And last the location was perfect - right in between Jackson and Teton village. We had an amazing stay here!
super cool "loft"
lovely views of aspen grove from balcony
fine, quiet location..proximity to "everything"
balcony needed a bit of a spiffing up...gretchen dismayed at that news, ...and quickly responded to questions re workings of shower and tv/cable stuff.

I've lived here in the valley since 2002, and have been renting out two other properties on VRBO since 2005.
Why they chose this property
I love this unit because of its light, airy feel. It has the perfect combination of privacy with convenience to amenities. I walk to the grocery store, but typically see wildlife along the way. The bed upstairs looks right out the window into a big pine tree, and feels a bit like sleeping in a tree house. I can be in either the town square or Grand Teton National Park in ten minutes. I can walk out my door to go cross country skiing at Teton Pines, or I can drive 7 minutes to the base of the tram in Teton Village. For the two of us, the open sleeping loft works perfectly, and we prefer the spaciousness of this unit to many of the one bedrooms in this area.
