This old house located at the entrance of the village benefits from the proximity of the shops (Access in a few minutes walk to the excellent bakery, the grocery store butcheries, the famous cafe of the post office ...) that the provencal character nature that surrounds it.
The house is organized around a garden with swimming pool and pool house.
This garden is totally private and not overlooked.
Outdoor lighting in bamboo extends the mood of the day.
On the second floor the panoramic terrace guarantee you an aperitif with the sunset over the hills sheltering the villages of Gordes and JOUCAS ...
The view is magic !!
In the evening you can admire the stars before going to bed.
This spacious house of 240 m2 allows everyone to find his privacy and reconciles the charm of Provence with a certain modernity.
Beautiful reception areas, double exposure fireplace (living room dining room) and spacious and friendly kitchen (cookbooks - good equipment - beautiful dishes) will offer you in any season relaxation you are looking for your holidays with family or friends.
The lower terrace located in the hollow of the L is in front of the kitchen and the living room and overlooking the garden and the pool will allow you to take your meals to the sound of cicadas during the summer season.
The garden is a world apart in which one feels good.
The sunbeds are organized around the pool of 4. 5 by 8 meters
You can also enjoy a summer lounge open on the garden and away from the sun, cool and cozy space where you can bask at leisure with a good book or for a nap.

Wonderful house in the beautiful village of Goult. We had such relaxing week by the pool, with day trips to surrounding villages. Goult was our favourite. The house is very relaxing to be in and Beatrice is very helpful. We hope to be back one day.

This is a perfect property for a family with children. There is plenty of space with four floors, a large living room, a play room, a large very well equipped kitchen, a small terrace to eat outside, and to top it all a bbq stove riverside the swimming pool but screen with a hedge.. There are lounging chairs by the pool, and the pool can even be lit up in different colors at night. We loved walking up to the village center to the bakery and grocery store, and browsing in the village market on Thursday(?). We highly recommend this property, and especially the very pleasant communications with the owner who was also very helpful.

We had a fantastic time in this wonderful house. It had everything we needed and a more than well equipped kitchen. Lovely and tastefully decorated rooms. As a party of eight, in ages ranging from 4-60 years, the house was very well planned in three levels/etage so you could socialise or get space to yourself. We used the pool a lot as it was a very hot week. The garden is so cosy and nice and you can chose sun or shade. Very good with a poolhouse close to the pool for showering after swimming. Goult is such a nice little village with good restaurants and shops. Not crowded with daytourists, which we appreciated. It’s a strategic place for exploring the surroundings. Not to forget, the owner Beatrice was so caring, friendly and generous. We would not hesitate to stay in Goult and this lovely house again!

The house is in a great location, quiet street in a lovely village, with amazing sunrise & sunset views from the top terrace and a lush garden/pool area. Beatrice, the owner, was quick to respond to any questions, and checked on our comfort several times during our stay by text. She seemed genuinely interested in us having a good time, and in taking care of any of our needs.The kitchen was perfect for cooking some of our meals - and the butcher (FAB!), small grocery and bakery had everything we needed to enjoy some fabulous dinners at home, dining on the patio overlooking the pool area.Having a small shower and/or sink in most of the bedrooms was a great benefit for this group of women, and all the bedrooms were really large. The large salon with a piano (!) and dining room let us spread out and we just really loved the space.Goult is a charming, peaceful village - and is a short drive to many larger, more touristy (but wonderful) villages - Roussillon, Gordes, Menerbes, Bonnieux. It's a perfect place to call 'home' and relax after a day out touring. The Thursday morning market in Goult is quite wonderful, and the few small boutique shops in town are nice quality. We were a group of artists, and Goult is full of little vignettes waiting to be painted!

Excellent stay!

We had an excellent stay in Goult at Elia House! Beatrice is wonderful to work with and the house is a great home base for exploring the Luberon Valley. The house full of light and has an excellent kitchen to make many meals in. Beatrice went above and beyond to help us during our stay including coordinating a pony ride for our daughter’s birthday. Thank you for your hospitality and ensuring we had a wonderful stay!

Great house in the centre of Goult

We loved our stay at the house in Goult. Beatrice was great to deal with and it is in the perfect location of the village of Goult, with easy access to other sights nearby. The village itself has several great restaurants, good for lazy days by the pool when you don't want to go out on a drive.

Beautiful French Home in a Beautiful setting

Wonderful stay in Goult

We had a wonderful stay in Beatrice's lovely home. We loved the location in Goult. The house provided the perfect location and all the amenities needed for a very comfortable stay. Beatrice was a pleasure to meet and help us get situated, including a welcoming bottle of local wine and cheese. We spent many lovely evenings on the balcony overlooking other hill top towns in Provence with glorious sunsets.

Gorgeous Goult

We had a wonderful stay at Elia House in Goult. The house was fantastic for a group of friends. Plenty of space. Comfortable beds and walking distance to the village of Goult and it’s cafe’s and restaurants. A wonderful place to explore the Luberon. Incredible escape

A cozy and well-appointed home in an idyllic corner of the world. This was the perfect launching point to explore the Luberon and Beatrice was a communicative, welcoming and super helpful host. We enjoyed kicking back by the fire every evening after exploring the countryside and Goult feels like an under-the-radar gem. Was sad to leave!

Great place for a relaxing stay in a historic setting

We had a great stay at Elia House in early September. The house has loads of historic charm and is super relaxing. My husband and I and 2 close friends enjoyed the house and the village so much that we didn't stray too far from home, despite the attractions of the Ventoux. We enjoyed eating at Cafe de la Poste in Goult, watching the world go by. Also the pizza take- away in Goult is good. Elia House is not best suited to families with toddlers because of the steep steps, but I would thoroughly recommend it to others.

Home in Gault

Beatrice was a wonderful host. Communication was perfect and she was readily available to help us with our stay. is truly lovely with oodles of space. Great kitchen with terrace off of it which leads to a beautiful garden and pool! Deck off the upper master bedroom provides a great place to wind down with cocktails and enjoy the stunning views of The Luberon! A perfect spot right in the midst of the village of Gault. The village was everything we hoped it would be . I will definitely being staying again and highly recommend this home.

Lovely house in a perfect location

Staying in the town of Goult but having a view out over the valley and mountains was fantastic. The location is amazing for sightseeing in the Luberon and being able to walk 100m to the shops and restaurants. The house is very well equipped with very generous spaces. We had breakfast on the rooftop patio with a view of the mountains every morning. It was too cold to enjoy the outdoor pool and garden spaces during this cold May. The welcome to the property and communication with the owner were perfect. Thank you!

Goult Elia House was as good as it looks

We were painters on a plein air holiday. For a week and loved every minute. Goult’s local epicerie and wonderful local restaurants provided us with all we needed. We didn’t have a car and so we’re reliant on the very busy schedules of taxi drivers, so I’d recommend a car. The only thing that’s a drawback is that there are only two toilets in the house, and none to accommodate the two bedrooms on the third floor. Still, I’d come back in a heartbeat.

Warm and welcoming

Elia House was the perfect location for our family Christmas. Beatrice went to so much trouble to decorate the house with a Christmas tree, Christmas decorations and a multitude of candles, which added to the warm, festive atmosphere. The house itself is very spacious, with comfortable bedrooms, an extremely well equipped kitchen and very pleasant living spaces for relaxing and reading. Just a few minutes walk brings you to the local bars, well stocked épicerie, greengrocer and boulangerie. An excellent base for lovely walks and visiting the many beautiful Luberon villages. Thank you Beatrice for making us feel so welcome in your lovely home.

Great stay in Goult

Elia house was lovely. Most well appointed rental we have ever experienced. Beds very comfortable. Kitchen has everything you need. Around the corner from downtown restaurants which are very good. We loved the upper deck and spent most evenings there sipping wine and enjoying the view and sunset. Beatrice was very attentive to our needs and checked in a couple times during our stay. Overall wonderful experience. (Bathroom features are a little funky, so be sure to pay attention to how they are described on her website. For us there was no problem, and we ended up liking the arrangement.)

Well located in a delightful village.....and one of the best equipped homes we have enjoyed over the years......Attentive owner and staff responded quickly to minor problems.....but most of all, it is a most pleasant home to return to at the end of a touring day. Surrounding countryside provides quaint hilltop villages with pretty fountains, interesting architecture, breathtaking views.... and weekly markets. Visit Gordes, Bonnieux, Roussillon, La Coste, Menerbe...Avignon, Fontaine de Vaucluse, ...and further afield ...StRemy de Provence and Les Baux... and make some of your own discoveries! Wonderful house!

We stayed in Elia House for two weeks and loved every moment. The house is large, comfortable and well-equipped. Beatrice has thought of everything! The beds are fantastic. The view from the top floor terrace is mesmerizing. And the pool is a welcome respite on hot afternoons. The kitchen has everything you need to cook any meal, although you may not want to because of all the fabulous restaurants in Goult and the surrounding villages. Thank you, Beatrice, for sharing this gem of a place with us. It was the perfect central location for exploring the Luberon. We fell in love with Goult and it's sweet, welcoming people and were always happy to return there after being out and about in the beauty that surrounds it.

The Luberon proposes endless possibilities for the ones who simply need to chill out and enjoy farniente in exceptional surroundings to the ones who like to enjoy sports, hiking in Nature or cultural excursions. You are right the area hosts numerous restaurants from famous gastronomic places to unknown treasures with local specialties. And the village gathers a few good ones too! Wonderful home; wonderful location.

The Elia House is a gem. Comfortable living room and dining room with a very functional kitchen and four bedrooms and two WC’s. Each bedroom has a sink and most a shower so everyone has their own space. The terrace is a perfect place for sundowners and the pool looks very inviting. We were here in late March so were unable to use the pool and its deck and spaces. The village of Goult is a well kept secret of the region boasting fabulous restaurants and a renowned cafe. As well as an epicerie, fromagerie, and a boulangerie all within a five minute walk. Beatrice is a delight to deal with and she ensured our stay was perfect - and it was. Cannot wait to return. Merci beaucoup!

Our visit included myself who has been to the Luberon and Goult many times and people who have never been there. Everybody had a great time we stayed between seven and 10 days. Some people came for seven days some of us stayed for 10 days, the house, the location and even the weather we’re all quite perfect although the weather, in early October, was a little cold for going in the pool, it was ideal. The house is old. It has a good bit of charm and is large with large rooms, it has nice entertaining space, including a well stocked kitchen that is easy to cook in and have your breakfast in. There is a nice dining room and a large living room. There are basically four bedrooms and an additional room that could be slept in. The bathrooms are not the greatest and there’s one large full bathroom on the second floor and a toilet on the ground floor. Some of the rooms have showers and sinks and there’s a second full bathroom in a small house by pool, it did work OK for seven adults. Some of the beds were soft some were more firm and better to sleep in. Bernice the house owner was very kind and responsive on the phone and our issues like a broken coffee maker where handled very expediently. I think everybody was sad to leave and would go back in a second and very much miss our visit to Goult.
