It´s a beach house envolving in a rural landscape that is ideal to get out of the daily routine and also nice to enjoy in the winter time as the weather in Portugal is mild.Recent construction with a sober decoration and a good look, with a spectacular view of Sesimbra Castle. Ideal for surfers, families and friends. It´s placed in a village with all the facilities you need (pharmacies, charming restaurants, playground, supermarkets, coffee shops...) and very friendly people. At 30 minutes from Lisbon and less than 3 hours flight from the main European capitals, Yuccas House is located in Sesimbra - Castelo. In the middle of the “Costa Azul” region, with a spectacular view of Sesimbra Castle. These is one of the most beautiful places in Portugal as you can reach easily to spectcular places. From 3 minutes to an hour it is possible to choose many beaches such as: Sesimbra (California Beach and others), Costa da Caparica, Portinho da Arrábida, Figueirinha, Comporta, Tróia, and many more along the Alentejo Vicentine Coast. With a 1000m2 garden and 200m2 of inside house living area, there are 3 double bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, 1 living room with TV and internet (and 1 double sofa-bed), confortable kitchen and a spectacular lounge with a barbeque area. The property also includes a nice pool and a beautiful garden. The perfect choice for those who wish to live in privacy and tranquility in nature.

Lovely week in Sesimbra!

My family and I had a great week at this villa. Lovely location below the castle, close to great beaches. The villa was fully equipped with lots of games which provides great entertainment for my family! Carlos was very attentive and took good care of us.

Perfect Holiday

First of all Carlos is a very nice host that is very supportive. Our flight got cancelled and we arrived at a different time, but that was no Problem. You can reach it for cheap with an Uber in 50 min from the Airport. The House is clean and the Pool is Great. There is a pool table, table Tennis and Darts and Manny Board games so there was a lot of stuff for the evenings. The beaches close by are great and the view on the Castello is nice. Games

Pleasant stay and some suggestions

We spent a pleasant week in Yuccas house, especially appreciating the garden with its well maintained pool and the wonderful view of the nearby castle. The bedrooms are perfect for a family with 2 to 3 kids. The masters room bed is comfortable but the others were quite basic and the 1.4m bed felt to small for two people. We also needed to get used to some rather noisy dogs in the neighborhood, whose barking was particularly noticeable on warm nights when one would prefer to keep the windows open. On a positive note, we very much enjoyed the billiard table, which was not only a great addition but also of good quality. The kitchen proved to be well-equipped, although it could benefit from the addition of some new frying pans and glasses. Overall, we enjoyed to stay in Yuccas house. With a few considerations, such as upgrading bedding and addressing the noise issue, this rental could provide an even more enjoyable experience for future guests.

Yucca house

Ein überaus freundlicher und hilfsbereiter Vermieter hilft einem in allen Belangen. Das Haus entspricht der Beschreibung. Wir haben insbesondere die Gartenanlage und den Pool genossen. Selbstverständlich haben wir auch den Billardtisch sehr geschätzt.

Perfeito para descansar

Local ideal para “desligar” o stress e recuperar a energia após um tempo atípico. A casa das Yuccas está num local muito sossegado, mas ao mesmo tempo perto de tudo, praia, serviços, etc. Experiência a repetir. O Carlos foi um anfitrião fantástico e pró-activo.

CARLOS a été un hôte exceptionnel. La maison vraiment hyper agréable et correspondant tout à fait à la description. Tout petit bémol : les chiens bruyants dans le voisinage mais les chambres extrêmement bien isolées

Trés belle villa

Bonjour, Un propriétaire très agréable malgré une arrivée très tardive de notre part. Il nous a accueilli avec un panier garni avec des produits locaux et nous a donné de très bons conseils sur les restaurants, commerces à Sésimbra. Villa bien équipée avec entre autre un billard et une table de ping pong une piscine superbe qui a été nettoyée 2 fois pendant notre séjour de 15 jours. Le linge (drap et serviette) a été changé une fois. Sur les 3 chambres, il y en a 2 qui pourraient être mieux équipés, un peu obsolète. Je garde le mois bien pour la fin, il faut savoir qu'au Portugal les chiens aboient le jours comme la nuit et personne ne dit rien. Je vous laisse faire votre opinion sur ce point. Merci encore à Carlos pour sa gentillesse. Isabelle, Stéphane, Maxence et Véro..

Isabelle et ses amis étaient des clients très sympathiques. Ce sont des clients très recommandables, ils ont très bien traité la maison. En ce qui concerne les sons à l'extérieur de la maison, c'est quelque chose que je ne peux pas contrôler. En dehors des zones urbaines, le bruit des chiens, des moutons, des coqs, etc. est tout à fait normal, parce que les gens vivent à la campagne. Je dois avouer que j'ai été attristé par cette classification (4*) pour quelque chose en dehors de la Maison des Yuccas. Best regards

Castle view villa!

This villa set directly in front of a magnificent castle and grounds is without doubt one of the most beautiful places any one can experience on holiday. This villa provides easy access to beautiful beaches, towns and Lisbon City. The nature surrounding the villa with its distant & pleasant sounds of hens, 'chatty dogs' and sights of gliding buzzards add to the villas atmosphere. We loved the swimming pool and all the facilities inside the villa. We had great fun playing pool, darts and table tennis in the late evenings. Carlos made us feel very welcome, his hospitality was second to none - really attentive and thoughtful. I would not hesitate in recommending this villa...it was a true gem!

Una casa perfecta

Altamente recomendable. La ubicación tranquila y con unas vistas estupendas del castillo. Las instalaciones limpias y completas. El salon mucho mas acogedor de lo que parecía en las fotos, el resto de estancias fabulosas. La piscina maravillosa. El trato del propietario impecable y atento. En resumen: PERFECTA . Muy recomendable. Volveremos.

One week at Yuccas haose

Pleasant House in a nice area (35kms from Lisboa). It is conformed with the description ; confortable house with swimming pool. We were very welcome by the owner. The cupboard smell a little bit the old. There are a lot of dogs around; noise days and nights. Globaly OK but seems expensive for this type of house. Ph

That was a nice group and the house was clean. However, it was regrettable, in check-out, nobody told me that the Lcd in the big room was damaged and daubed with sunscreen spray. About the dogs in arround, the owners can't control what happens outside of the house, besides the majority of the villas in Sesimbra had dogs arround. About the price my friend, you should compare the price the villas in Sesimbra with what they have to offer.

Great location for exploring the area

It is very well presented with comprehensive amenities. The pool is great and gets sun throughout the day. There is also the fantastic backdrop of the Sesimbra castle for our meals and swims. The location is convenient for exploring the sights of Sesimbra and Setubal. We enjoyed the visit to Fonseca winery and loved seeing real dinosaur footprints in the next village along.

Perfect villa for a holiday!

Nice house in a great area

We spent a great couple of weeks at Yucca's house in Sep/Oct 2014. The area is great. Not much is within walking distance (walking to the beach would take at least 30-40 min) but with a car there are many interesting, beautiful and spectacular places nearby. The house is very well equipped both for grown-ups and children - if they are not too small. Our youngest was 2,5 years and I wouldn't go here with someone much younger since there is no fence around the pool area, pebbles everywhere to put in your mouth or throw in the pool etc. The only negative I have to say about the house is that during rainy and not very warm days it gets quite damp inside the house and there is a not so pleasent smell from some of the wardrobes and some of the kitchen cupboards. I am guessing this problem is more noticeable during fall/winter/spring rather than summer. You should also be aware that there are plenty of dogs in the neighborhood who seem to never sleep (barking day and night - but we got used to it). However, the overall impression of the house is very positive and I would surely recommend it! Carlos is very friendly and eager to help out (in a non-intrusive way) and came with good ideas for our trip to Sintra (great place).

Maison très agréable

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour dans cette maison. La villa est très confortable et fonctionnelle. On s'y sent bien tout de suite. Elle est très bien équipée, rien de manque. Le propriétaire est aux petits soins pour ses locataires et leur réservent un très bon accueil. Merci Carlos....

Excellent séjour à la maison des Yuccas

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans la maison des Yuccas à Sesimbra du 8 juillet au 18 juillet 2014. La maison est très agréable,spacieuse, aéréee et très bien équipée. Nous avons profité de la piscine qui est spacieuse. Le propriétaire fait attention à la qualité du séjour de ses locataires. En conclusion, nous recommandons vivement la location de cette maison.

Un séjour idyllique.

Très belle maison qui bien que semblant sombre, pour l'intérieur, sur les photos, se révèle en réalité très lumineuse ! Parfaitement située, en périphérie de la ville, avec vue sur le château, elle constitue en un véritable havre de paix idéal pour se reposer. Il n'y a rien a redire sur l'équipement, que se soit sur la vaisselle, les serviettes, les draps, ou même encore sur les loisirs mis a disposition (Ping pong, panier de basket, billard, jeu de fléchettes). Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable rythmé par les messages du proprietaire nous demandons si nous n'avions besoin de rien, et étant tout a fait disponible. A recommander !
