About this property

Beautiful farmhouse 4 kms from the beach of l'Estartit.

This house is located in the agricultural area between Torroella de Montgrí and l'Estartit surrounded by fields of fruit trees. It has a large plot of more than 5000 m² fully fenced and a private pool.

The interior of the house is decorated in rustic style. On the ground floor there is a large hall, a bathroom, a living room with fireplace, kitchen with access to a large porch for meals outdoors.

On the first floor there is a large distributor, a bathroom with shower and 4 double bedrooms.

An ideal house to enjoy the nature, to make excursions in bicycle and to relax under a pine of the garden.
Sheets are included in the price. You can also add towels to your booking (4 € for person)

Outside area and house structure good, but inside with a lot of room for improvement

House size, garden and pool fantastic. However, it was not cleaned properly when we arrived (dusty, sticky, dirty kitchenware). Kitchen very poorly equipped with pans falling apart and no can opener, all very old and rusty ustensils which do not look inviting to use. Loads of plates yes, but no normal sizes glasses, only small ones. We bought extra plastic glasses to enjoy a drink by the pool and have a cocktail in something else than a 1dl wine glass. A serious ant problem in the kitchen which we remedied on the 4th day by getting an insect spray. We were 7 occuppants, but there were only 6 chairs around the veranda table - and they were too low to be eating comfortably at the table. Electricity problem throughout the house, many plugs not working or only alternately. Lighting issues - either the lightbulbs were broken or the lightswitch didnt work. Beds not at all comfortable, headboards and nightstands full of dust. Fully understand that there is no airconditioning, but some ceiling ventilators would make sleeping easier. All in all things that can be remedied without much effort, but apparently are not of importance to the agency. Considering the price of the property, I thought it was poor.
