Great location, comfortable adorable home! My family and I loved staying here. The host was very responsive and helpful as well. Would definitely recommend!
We loved this beautiful cottage. Very convenient to everywhere we needed to be, just a short walk along the Ness. Warm duvets. Loved the eating nook looking out in the garden.
River Ness cottages are lovely. We loved our stay as it felt like we were locals living in the cottage yet, Inverness castle and downtown restaurants are a short 10 minute walk down the river walk. There is a grocery store 2 minutes walk away so you’ll have plenty of options for home cooking with a fully stocked kitchen or dine out with some great restaurants. Communication with Gregor is excellent. Beds are comfy and the fireplace in our cottage was so welcome after a cool rainy day exploring the area. The breakfast sunroom and garden area are well kept and wonderful change fromStandard hotel rooms Gregor also can be booked for small group tours of The area including isle of Skye. We had our own rental car and parking was ultra convenient. You won’t be disappointed. Thanks Gregor for renting us the cottage.
You can tell that this cottage is an older building: A few details could profit from fresh paint or replacement, and the garden from more care. However, most of the appliances are new and work very well, everything was clean, and the communication with Gregor was easy. What we loved most was the small conservatory where we had lunch and dinner.
My family enjoyed staying at this cottage very much. The wall garden in the back is super cute and having my coffee in the glassed in breakfast nook in the morning was a great way to start each day. It was convenient to the grocery store and easy to get to. Having a parking pass was appreciated as we were able to park our car right out front. We could quickly walk across the bridge to the city center from the house and it was just a quick trip back if something was forgotten. We found this house very relaxing to be in for our stay in Inverness which is a plus for us! The neighborhood was generally quiet and felt family friendly. The kitchen was well equipped and had a dishwasher and a washer which we appreciated. There is a line outside to hang the clothes and a rack inside too. Our host was lovely and the property was a good fit for our family of four.
The cottage is well situated for walking to markets, shops, and sites. The host is very accommodating and offers driving tours as well. We'd return anytime.

Easy access to town, restaurants, groceries, walk to bike rental and walking paths. Rode bikes to Dores on Loch Ness which was a great way to see the countryside!
The location was great. The accommodations were perfect for our group of six. The backyard was delightful and we especially enjoyed the fireplace and watching the Euro cup final on the very large TV in the living room! Gregor was absolutely wonderful to deal with - very helpful, very responsive and wonderfully accommodating!
The size and location were nice. Loved being able to walk to restaurants and being so close to Aldi. A few maintenance issues, but he was there to tell us about them, which i appreciated.
Very nice house in a great location. It was very clean and the perfect accommodations for our family. Greggor's communication was great! Easy check-in. He provided us with a tour to the Isle of Skye which was excellent and taylored so that all in our party were able to see the sites. He also picked up and Fish and Chips dinner for us and it was the best meal! This house and host are highly recommended!
Cottage exactly as listed, clean, light, and cozy. Location was excellent - small pleasant walk across bridge into shopping and restaurants. Gregor was communicative through entire process and helped us out a bunch on planning and direction. We took him up on a rather bespoke tour that was the absolute highlight of our trip.
