The Clava Cottage was a favorite for the whole family while on our tour of Scotland. Clean, comfortable and stocked with all the right amenities. Our only regret is we didn't get to spend enough time in Inverness. Gregor is a fantastic host. When in Inverness again, this will be our base.
The property was great and really close to what you would want to see and do in Inverness. Everything was smoothly done from check-in to check-out. The only nitpicking I would have is there is no dryer, so laundry can be a hassle unless you stay during one of the few dry days of Scotland.
Very nice location, well situated and Gregor is a very good host! We stayed there for 5 nights with our friends. There is everything you need in the kitchen. Super nice backyard also. I stongly recommend.
Gregory was great to work with. We arrived late on the first night, and he stopped by the next morning to say hello. The home had a lot of charm, the beds were comfortable, and there was plenty of space. The kitchen was well equipped and worked great for our stay. The backyard could use a little love, but it still worked well for relaxing and enjoying a few beers. The location was excellent — a grocery store was within a 4-minute walk, and downtown restaurants and shops were only about 10 minutes away on foot.
Lovely cottage conveniently located near the river path, downtown shopping and a grocery store right around the corner. Gregor was a great host and accommodated all our needs. Would definitely book again!
It was great to have a home away from home. Our host was very obliging and helped us with many transportation issues. As vacationing seniors, we couldn’t have asked for more!

Im missing you folks already.Until our paths our cross again.
The property was well-stocked with everything we needed and more, it was the perfect location to walk everywhere, and it was quiet at night. Comfortable beds, clean, and the best part was Gregor - very kind, helpful, and responsive. Definitely coming back to stay here.
Lovely property, all necessary amenities, 1 min walk to River Ness, 5 min to city centre. Gregor was extremely helpful with tips of what to do and where to go, advice about the property, etc.
This is a perfect location to explore Inverness. Beautiful walk along the River, grocery store 1/2 a block away. Gregor was there to meet us and see us off. I would stay here again.

All best wishes

Very nice apartment. Gregor is a fantastic host, very helpful and accommodating. He even took us on a quick tour in his van of the area. Very clean and comfortable. We highly recommend this place.
What a great place to stay in Inverness! It’s a clean, well appointed, comfortable location, just a ten minute walk to the city center. Our host, Gregor, was very helpful and welcoming. He had lots of tips for things to do and places to eat. This was our first trip to Scotland, and it couldn’t have been better. We highly recommend Clava Cottage!

Gregor is a superb host! He gave great sightseeing ideas, and is a wealth of knowledge about the area. Clava cottage is exactly the stone cottage you envision when you think of the highlands.
The house was in a great location for walking to restaurants and shopping. We did two bus tours and could walk to the pick up points in 12 minutes.
The host - Gregor was very nice. I’d recommend this property.
We liked the location of this cottage very much. It was professionally cleaned when we arrived and as we checked-in quite late Gregor was kind enough to stiock bread, bacon, eggs, milk and tea for our breakfast the next day, which we highly appreciated.
It's not 5 star accomodation, but it was super clean and convenient and Gregor was extremely helpful with recommemdations. Would certainly stay again if in this very special part of the world.

Thank you for you lovely review and hope to see you all again sometime.
The accommodation was comfortable and communicating with the property was easy and quick. For the most part, it was as stated in the listing. It's a bit old and worn in places, but is certainly liveable.
The location is really great! Close to the wobbly bridge for walks into "downtown" and very handy to the Aldi -- literally up the street!
We enjoyed our stay very much
If you’re thinking of staying in Inverness this is absolutely a perfect spot and host! We arrived at the property extremely late and our host was patient and waiting for our arrival. We had a very difficult experience with luggage however the host helped us obtain necessities and we could not have been more grateful.
We highly recommend the place.
The property is clean and very well equipped. We really enjoyed our stay there. It has good internet connection and Netflix. The cottage is located about 10 -15 minutes away from the centre and bus station. There are lots of restaurants around and a supermarket is just behind the corner. The property owner was very helpful and promptly assisted with our queries.
We had a lovely stay here. Gregor went above and beyond answering all of our questions. His knowledge of the area helped us so much. The location is on a fairly quiet street, just a short walk from the center of town. Grocery store nearby helped us stock up on some essentials in addition to the food Gregor had left for us. This was an excellent location for some day trips. We will absolutely stay again someday!
