A Casa da Urze is a schist house, with exposed schist and wood. It has been fully restored while preserving its original design. It offers its guests modern comfort and amenities.
It is located right in the centre of the legendary schist village of O Talasnal, surrounded by the lush forests of the Lousã Mountains, where it is not uncommon to spot wild boars, deer, roe deer, or other rare animals among the many that inhabit this little piece of paradise.
Casa da Urze consists of two floors. The ground floor features a common room with a TV and a wood-burning stove for heating, a kitchenette, and a bathroom. The upper floor houses the double bedroom and an additional bed.
