Wonderful location

We spent a fabulous 2 weeks in this charming Gite. The pool was wonderful, with the amazing Cascades just across the road. Plenty to do and lots of great places to eat nearby. Roberto and his wife are lovely and they are there if you need anything.

Idyllic location with very hospitable hosts.

My wife and I reserved this quiet house for a week. Later we were joined by two of our friends. The house is spacious, clean and well-kept. The location is just across the river and walking distance from the cascades and the small mideaval La Roque-sur-Cèze village on the hill. The owners were very accommodating and served a variety of fresh grilled delicacies at their garden next door. There are small country roads nearby for leisurely walks among the farms and vineyards on the hillside behind the house. The house has a full kitchen, large living room and spacious bedrooms. With the addition of the swimming pool, kids and adults alike will have a great time. If you have any special needs, just call the owners and ask, as we did. We highly recommend this villa. Cheers.

Okay as a base

Rustic rather than luxurious, great as a base. Pool was good and terrace nice to sit on for dinner, decent sized rooms, kitchen was adequate but could have done with a built in oven as we were unable to BBQ due to regional ban on fires. The toilet didn’t have a basin so had to walk to bathroom to wash hands, shower tiles were cracked and needed some work. The owners were lovely and took a lot of time to show us around the property when we arrived and to make sure we were comfortable, they lived next door but we didn’t see them apart when he came in to clean the pool. They did have two dogs which were great guard dogs particularly first thing in the morning when anyone walked passed their gate.

La maison est simple, équipée du nécessaire pour six personnes et très charmante. L'emplacement est parfait. La rivière et les cascade de Sautadetes sont juste en face. Un paysage de rêve. Nos hôtes étaient très gentils et faciles à joindre. Mais en même temps très discrets et calmes (ils habitent juste à côté). Nous reviendrons volontiers à l'occasion.

Jolie maison au calme

tout petit séjour d'abord à 2 puis rejoints par mes parents et un oncle pour 2 nuits. Maison dans environnement très calme, entourée de verdure, tout proche des magnifiques cascades du Sautadet. Jolie piscine. Maison date d'il y a quelques années, mais tout à fait fonctionnelle. Propriétaires fort sympathiques. tout était propre.
