Callander cottage

We had a great time cycling, walking, exploring and just hanging around the cottage and the area. The cottage is very comfortable and lived up to our expectations.

Lovely house with much love for details making it very lively. Perfect spot for the national park but also for trips to Stirling castle or even a day trip to Edinburgh. Very thoughtful hosts and perfect communication.

This is a little gem. Very well equipped and placed within easy walking distance of Callander .It is so well placed for visiting Stirling, Loch Lomand and lots of other places.

Wonderful clean cozy cottage with amazing views

I found the owner Karen very helpful and friendly it was a lovely cottage with amazing views of Ben ledi very comfy beds and plenty space in the cottage great location and great place to do sightseeing would definitely recommend some super restaurants we thoroughly enjoyed our week

The best ever had!

A Very welcoming contact through app, we had the chance to book 1 extra day as well which was in our case very welcome. Property was very clean and kitchen was very well equiped. Furniture was clean and plenty room in every room. We did a 2 months trip through England and Scotland and this property was by far the best we had.

Fab House

Lovely, cosy place within a stones throw of the high street. Everything was really clean and tidy, and the house is well equipped. Hope to be coming back soon.

Nettes Cottage am Rande der Highlands

Gemütliches kleines Cottage in Callander. Ca.2 Gehminuten von der Hauptstrasse mit Pubs und Einkaufmöglichkeiten. Gute Lage für schöne Tagesausflüge. Super nette Nachbarn. Einzige Kritikpunkte: Oberflächen der Schränke und Tische in der Küche waren nicht richtig sauber. Haare im oberen Bad. Auf den Bildern ( und auch in der Beschreibung ) sieht man eine Kaffeemaschine in der Küche . Diese war nicht vorhanden. Habe in Stirling eine bekommen. Nun steht dort wieder eine :-)....Ich würde das Haus aber auf jeden Fall weiter empfehlen.

Wir haben unseren Urlaub sehr genossen. In der Unterkunft Fehlstellung es an nichts. Die Anfahrt/ da finden der Unterkunft dauerte etwas, da wir mit der Bezeichnung „sleeping policeman“ nichts anfangen konnten. Als wir dann wüssten das damit die Bodenerhebung (Bremshügel) gemeint ist, war der Rest ein Kinderspiel😃. Alles im allen: Daumen hoch

Am Rande der Highlands

Sehr gemütliches, sauberes,reichhaltig ausgestattetes Haus für 4 Erwachsene. Verkehrsgünstig gelegen für kleinere und größere Ausflüge ins Land...hervorragend geeignet für Biker. Die Nachbarn, die Bewohner von Callander sind außerordentlich nett und freundlich. Wir haben uns wohl und Zuhause gefühlt.

EVERYTHING YOU NEED !

My daughter & I have had a great week in the cottage. Arrived in really cold weather, 5C, to find a really warm & cosy 'home from home'. We were very comfortable & the information folder was exceptional with information for use of the whole house & appliances. Very well appointed & had everything you could wish for. Previous guests had given glowing reports & we added to that ! The area had lots to offer whatever the weather. Very local supermarket great & eating places within a few minutes walk. We visited local woods, waterfalls, nature reserves and attended a local concert in the Kirk on Sunday afternoon. Visited The Highlands, Dunblane & drove the Trossachs route Thank you very much for letting us use your lovely home

Ein sehr schönes, liebevoll eingerichtetes Haus. Ruhig gelegen und doch zentral. Idealer Startpunkt für Ausflüge in den Nationalpark. Kontakt zu den Gastgebern unkompliziert, verbindlich und sehr freundlich. Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit.

Maison de caractère, très bien équipée.

Sous un aspect retro cette charmante maison est très bien équipée. Elle est également très bien située dans la ville de Callander qui est un endroit très agréable. La ville, au sud du parc national, est idéale pour des départs de randonnées d'autant plus que les parcours sont bien balisés. Le confort de la maison procure un espace de repos appréciable après avoir marché.

Perfekt cottage on edge of Loch Lomond NP

Perfekt and lovely stone teracced house in a quiet byroad of Callander. It has not big but full equiped kitchen, comfortable bedrooms and a nice living room on upstairs. Callander is a great base to explore Scotland with car from Edinburgh to Loch Ness.

Charming property in lovely village.

We stayed in Andreu Cottage, Callander for a week in May with our young son (2). The property itself is very well made out and contained everything we needed for our stay. I thought, after visiting, that the pictures don't do justice to the property which is very quaint and decorated in a mix of modern and traditional style. All facilities in the cottage were working and we had no reason to complain about anything relating to the property throughout our stay. The weather during our stay was very good which allowed us to make good use of the private garden. Unfortunately we didn't notice the BBQ and charcoal until our final day otherwise we would have made good use of those too. The views from the living room over the Trossachs National Park are quite amazing and only a snapshot of the breathtaking area which is the main draw to this property. This was our first visit to the national park and we will definitely be back. Callander itself is a very nice village with loads of local, independent shops and everything you could need during your stay. The cottage is ideally located to visit attractions and amenities. We were busy every day and we could have stayed another two weeks and still not visited all of the places we wanted to. We usually visit the Lake District but will be visiting Loch Lomond and The Trossachs from now on and this cottage is an ideal base for anyone visiting. The one concern we had before visiting was that there is no private parking at the cottage. We needn't have worried, however, as there is plenty of parking within only a few metres (20 metres) of the garden gate and we were able to park at the gate whilst loading and unloading the car on arrival, departure and, when needed on a daily basis.

Lovely and clean cottage very near to high street, nice quite area where it is situated excellent value for money. Would definitely stay here again in the future.
