Dear Douglas, thank you for your excellent 5/5 rating and compliments! It was a pleasure assisting you, especially for that memorable birthday dinner. To guide future travelers, I'd like to clarify a few points. As I always emphasize, reading the full listing is vital for total transparency: Accessibility: The villa’s layout (indoor/outdoor steps) makes it unsuitable for young children (<12/14) and people with reduced mobility. I categorically refuse exceptions to this rule. Note that some new handrails are being crafted next month. Architecture: The villa boasts an authentic, classic Cycladic style. "En-suite" bathrooms are modern concepts non-existent in traditional design. The lower-level bathroom by the pool is perfectly logical for getting ready for the evening or an outing. Pool: In Greece, from June to September, it is customary not to heat pools. The water cools with the north wind but warms up instantly when it drops. Heating it under the summer sun would be an ecological nonsense. In line with this eco-friendly vision, I have just initiated the installation of photovoltaic solar panels. Road & Works: A spectacular view has to be earned😉 The steep 60m private path is walkable (except for children/elderly). The construction below and its dust are external factors beyond my control. This should have been halted in summer, and according to the architect, they will be completed this winter. Delighted that its unique charm grew on you. You are always welcome! 🙂

Thanks John for staying in my villa. I am glad you found it beautiful. Regarding the stairs, the property being on a little hill overviewing the sea (hence the view), the cycladic classic building is with stairs inside and outside. That is a reason why I share on the website a video, which shows the landscape. It is also described on the website that the configuration is with stairs.
