Spa, Sauna 10min from the ski slopes, Magnificent renovated sheepfold

A beautiful and idyllic place to be together with friends and family for parties and celebrations. New renovations in 2019, including the jacuzzi in service from September 2019, as well as new additions to the kitchen, including an American fridge-freezer with ice maker and two ovens. Located in the surroundings of the beautiful and historic spa town of Cauterets, this charming barn located in the Pyrenees National Park can accommodate 17 skiers with sauna. Also a short drive from many shops, restaurants, cafes, bars, a casino, ice rink and the town's famous thermal baths. The Lys gondola in downtown Cauterets is 3km from Le Grange. Nordic skiing is a short drive away, and it is a city all year round, with summer giving excellent access to the beautiful high Pyrenees.

With two hectares of private land at an altitude of 1400m and 250m2 of living space the barn offers solitude and tranquility. The barn is a short distance from the slopes with a private sauna and Jacuzzi and garden with views of the magnificent Pyrenees.

La Grange is located in the Pyrenees National Park, 4 km from the city center which takes you directly to the main slopes of Cauterets (Cirque du Lys). Although an obvious winter paradise Cauterets, and especially Grange Cambasque, offers a lot in summer with cycling, mountain biking, walking, rafting, fishing and much more. The Cirque du Lys 1500m gondola and Telesiege operate throughout the summer.

Lots of charm for this old barn restored as a dwelling. On the ground floor the barn has a spacious living and dining room with fireplace and American kitchen. Also on the ground floor are 3 double bedrooms, the shower room with wc and the sauna. On the first floor, you will find four bedrooms including 2 suites, with their wc and a large shower room also with wc. It includes a beautiful terrace overlooking the mountains of the Pyrenees National Park.

We had a lovely time here! The house was big and spacious and the views were magnificent. We enjoyed seeing all the farm animals around. It was a great base for our adventures in the area.

Bonne situation géographique et environnement pastoral, hôte réactif, nombre de places suffisant au salon, jacuzzi fonctionnel, vaisselle suffisante, literie correcte. Accès difficile en voiture (bas de caisse qui frotte ou porte vélo sur l'attelage à demonter) stationnement sur le chemin ou le parking au bord de la route.Aménagement extérieur vetuste ( planchers en fin de vie, montée vers la terrasse non aménagée) et peu sécurisé pour de jeunes enfants ou des personnes âgées.Les matelas d'extérieur ronds présents sur les photos ont été remplacés par des transats individuels dont certains étaient cassés. L'intérieur du gîte est sale (toiles d'araignées et poussières dans toutes les pièces, une table sur les trois collante, frigidaire sale et porte bouteilles cassé, four encrassé ) Sauna pas très engageant. Des petites marches un peu partout. En conclusion, le prix en période estivale est trop élevé compte tenu de l'état global du gîte.

Un week-end plus que parfait dans un lieu convivial et chaleureux. Le logement est parfaitement adapté aux grands groupes. Il se situe dans les hauteurs de Cauteret, très pratique et calme à la fois. Les explications fournies sont claires et précises. Une fois sur place, vous n’avez plus qu’à profiter pleinement de ce cadre enchanteur ! Merci encore à notre hôte, adorable !

une belle maison dans un endroit incroyable.

Vous ne serez pas déçu si vous louez cette grange. Nous étions un groupe d'amis avec conjoints et enfants et c'était parfait. La maison est très bien équipée pour permettre de cuisiner pour un grand nombre de personnes et l'emplacement est magnifique. Il y a plusieurs promenades directement depuis la grange et si vous vous sentez en forme, marcher jusqu'à la ville est relativement facile même si le retour à la grange est assez raide. Je recommande à 100%.

Nous étions à la recherche d’un logement, en montagne, suffisamment spacieux pour accueillir 10 adultes et 4 enfants. Nous sommes tombés sur la grange et que dire quand nous avons découvert le lieu, tout simplement magique. Un vrai moment de déconnexion. De belles chambres dotées pour la plupart de salles de bains impeccables. Rien ne manque c’est très bien équipé. Bref merci pour ce moment.

Super expérience à la Grange avec 60 cm de neige.

Super semaine enneigée à la grange, merci à Mathieu pour avoir déneigée le chemin qui va de la route (parking) à la grange. La dénaigeuse DDE passait 4 fois par jours, et les chaînes étaient obligatoires de Cauteret à la Grange. Nous avons bien profité du jardin en tant que piste de luge, du sauna et du jacuzzi. Le logement nous a convenu pour la famille (14 personnes).

La grange du bonheur entre amis

Un cadre à couper le souffle sous une magnifique neige ! La grange est idéale pour un séjour avec des enfants et avec un gros groupe. Petit bémol sur la qualité de la literie du dortoir, le linge de bain non fournis et les petites toiles d’araignees. Il serait bien de prévoir tapis de bain et serviettes à minima. Maxi coup de cœur pour le jacuzzi, le sauna et le feu de cheminée qui sont appréciables après le ski.

Week-end à cambasque

Super long week-end avec notre grande famille presque au complet…bb, jeune enfant, ados et adultes ; super pièce à vivre avec sa cheminée et cuisine attenante très fonctionnelle. Une grange montagnarde pleine de charme malgré quelques imperfections

J'ai récemment eu l'opportunité de séjourner dans une grange charmante, nichée au cœur de la montagne. La vue offerte était absolument sublime, un régal pour les yeux et un véritable dépaysement. Nous étions entourés de vaches, de chevaux, de brebis, et de montagnes - une véritable immersion dans la nature ! Le jacuzzi, qui permettait d'admirer le paysage tout en se relaxant, était tout simplement splendide. Cependant, j'aimerais attirer l'attention sur quelques aspects qui, bien que mineurs par rapport à l'ensemble de l'expérience, pourraient cependant être améliorés. Il s'agit principalement de l'état général du gîte. Nous avons constaté que quelques chaises étaient cassées et il manquait des rangements dans les salles de bains. L'absence de porte-vêtements muraux, de tapis de bains, ainsi que de coussins pour les meubles extérieurs ont été remarquées. De plus, la qualité de certains matelas laissait à désirer. Cependant, ces petits désagréments n'ont pas entaché notre appréciation globale de ce lieu unique et n'ont en rien gâché notre plaisir de profiter des beautés des Pyrénées :)

C’est la deuxième fois que nous louons le gîte pour un week end entre amis et nous sommes toujours aussi satisfait. Le gîte est au calme et on ne dérange personne. Le jacuzzi est top et la configuration des chambres nickel. Nous recommandons.

Dans un cadre splendide au milieu des montagnes entourés des pottoks, la grange est un lieu idéal, confortable et chaleureux pour des retrouvailles familiales, ambiance cocooning garantie au coin du feu, avec en prime jacuzzi et sauna ! Et de magnifiques randonnées à proximité.
