Located on the bay side of Pointe West Resort, its just a short walk to enjoy a varieties of pools, including an infinity pool and a kiddie pool, several miles of gorgeous walking paths, a fitness center, and a beautiful lagoon for kayaking and stand-up paddle boarding. Head into Galveston for shopping and dining.
Start out on the gorgeous deck overlooking the West Bay, with patio furniture perfect for lounging with a glass of sweet tea in one hand and a novel in the other. Gather with friends or have quality alone time complete with a fabulous sea breeze.
Head inside to gather in the living room on simple, cozy furniture done in earth tones with pops of color from the throw pillows. The TV with cable and a DVD/VCR offers the movie night option on the sofa. Watch online videos or play a game on a personal device via WiFi, or read quietly by the natural light from the porch windows in the armchairs complete with personal ottomans.
You can eat meals at home with a pretty dining table set. The breakfast bar to assist in chopping and prepping, or simply to keep cooks company while they whip up drinks in the blender or stir gumbo in the soup pot. Stainless steel appliances - including a dishwasher - granite countertops, and sandy tiles keep this kitchen stylish.
Sleep soundly in two bedrooms, both with private bathrooms. The primary suite's king bed and private porch access makes this a romantic spot for a couple. The guest room has two cozy twin beds - great for kids to share. The bathrooms have matching granite tile counters and sandy tile floors; the primary has a stand-up shower stall.
Including the sofabed in the living room, this home sleeps everyone comfortably. For added convenience, this suite comes with its own washer/dryer, to keep all your linens, swim suits, and walking clothes fresh!

THINGS TO KNOW Beach Club bands will be $25 per guest over three years old to access all amenities. This fee is charged by the POA of Pointe West and is payable at the Beach Club. Due to local rules and regulations, there are certain restrictions around the pool occupancy and times of use. No reservations are required, but occupancy is limited to a first come, first serve basis up to 50% occupancy. Specific information will be provided after you book. The on-site restaurant/cafe is no longer available. This home's elevators are not consistently reliable.
If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. No more dogs are allowed. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles.
Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit. More information can be downloaded from the "Rental Agreement" on the checkout page.

The property was clean, but it smelt musty. There was not a lot of room for parking because the parking garage was being renovated. Also, the elevator was out of order which made carrying luggage and groceries up to the third floor difficult.

Vacation Review - Disappointing
This condo was run down and not as clean as others we have stayed in. Although it is a known issue, we have never had as many elevator issues as we did with this condo building, in previous stays at Pointe West. Overall, we enjoy renting with Vacasa but there are better condo options than this one to pick in the future.

Great and convenient

Good property
I love the views of the apartment, enough space for a family, and close to the beach, the air condition working good.
Good communication and quick respond to fix any problem.
Bad points
The elevator doesn’t work, so was a negative point specially for disability people like my son and are four floors to go up.
You need to buy enough food because the supermarket are not close.

This is not bad if you want to be secluded and don't mind three flights of stairs

Place was very clean, smelled a little stale but airing out helped. Only gave two stars because elevator did not work and condo is on the third level. So that means you have to drag everything up 6 flights of stairs. That was hard work, especially first day bring up everything. Would have been nice to know before hand, also had to call for door code. But after all that craziness everything went fine no issues pretty quiet, just there for a weekend wedding.

Great location, wonderful pool. Furnishings very outdated and dirty. Mirrors and stove corroded, walls and backs of doors dirty from kids. Elevator sketchy, but it worked!! Great walking trails and awesome view from balcony, short walk to beach from the main pool, great kids pool. Family friendly, good parking. Easy drive.

We've stayed multiple years and similar condos across the street, int he same cul-de-sac as well as a different floor. This one unit however, is extremely outdated and dirty. Whatever you do, when asked to strip the bed, don't. You will not want to come back.

Great Place to Get Away From it All
It is a good idea to pick up food or sundries in Galveston before heading to the condos because there are not a lot of businesses on this part of the island. The setting is beautiful and quiet. We were kicking ourselves for forgetting binoculars. The birds and passing ships would have been interesting to zoom in on. Vacasa responded quickly to a maintenance issue we reported.
