The house was decorated so beautifully, and the fenced yard was perfect for our pets. We spent many relaxing moments on the large front porch. The beds were comfortable, and the owner made sure to have every kitchen tool available for our stay. We found a favorite restaurant in the nearby town that was walking distance from the house. There’s plenty of hikes and nature in the area, too. We hope to stay here again!

Great stay!

This was our second time at High Hemlock, and it was even better than the first! It now has two king beds, which was fantastic, and they are so comfortable. The cabin is the perfect size and in a wonderful location. We can't wait to return!

We loved this cozy cabin situated so close to town! We were able to walk to restaurants and go on a hike without getting in our car. The cabin is nice and updated as a well. Great stay and great location!

Great visit to High Hemlock

High Hemlock is as described-very comfortable, clean and well equipped. It was even decorated for the holidays. Fun to sit by the fire at night with the Christmas tree lights on. We love the location close to town. Can't wait to visit again.

Perfect Highlands Cabin

This cabin was perfect! It was clean, well-appointed, and very cozy. It was an easy walk into town and to all the local hiking trails. We had a wonderful vacation.

Perfect mountain cabin

Wonderful cabin for family of four. Fenced in yard was perfect for two family dogs to explore. Great location on a quiet street within walking distance of downtown.

Cozy Cottage

We had a lovely time at High Hemlock, the perfect spot for us to relax and unwind over Fall Break. The cottage is cozy, clean and nicely appointed. The living room by the fire was our favorite spot while at the cottage, creating a cozy atmosphere to enjoy family time.

We loved the house as a couple with 3 dogs. House was well appointed, each bedroom had king bed and private bath, kitchen was well furnished with nice appliances, combined living and eating area with large table that could easily seat 6 and comfortable furniture in living area. Location and yard were special. Fenced yard was great for the dogs. Easy walk to town and local restaurants. Great walking area, relatively flat in a nice neighborhood around Harris Lake. We had a really nice stay. The house was very clean and comfortable. Great location to walk to town and our dogs loved it. Would be nice if they had a few more amenities in the kitchen-olive olive oil, some more kitchen towels, more than one Tupperware container but overall was a great stay. Check in and out were easy.

Hubbie’s favorite stay, and dogs loved it too!

Kristy is a top notch host!!! She helped us before and during our stay. Very much appreciated!!! Location is very convenient to Main Street. Walk or drive. House is furnished thoughtfully and attractively. Kitchen is well equipped. Range has 6 burners and a large oven. Good sized refrigerator too. Ample room in the master for a couple of small or midsized dog crates. Full sized washer and dryer. Table was set beautifully but I did turn it into our game night table too. Fenced yard is awesome for dogs who need space for a romp to burn off some energy. The porch has 4 comfy rockers and it was great to relax and watch the dogs play!!!
