The beach is not crowed this time of year during the week and that is very relaxing for us. The home was clean and all utilities worked good. One exception, we discovered the ice maker was not operational. We made management aware of this. We had to drive back 7 miles to retrieve ice. The home did not ice trays available for use. We just needed immediate ice demands upon arrival.

The decor and attention to detail really makes you feel at home! And it is literally steps from the beach which made it super easy going back and forth with kids! We enjoyed sitting on the deck and watching the ocean waves! It’s a quieter part of the beach which I loved! We stayed over 4th of July so the weekend the beach was busier as expected! And we got to see fireworks all up and down the beach from the comfort of our deck! It really was a great spot & a great stay! I definitely recommend!

There are a few things that could use some updating like the pots and pans and fixing the low shower pressure in the master, but you have to be realistic while staying in a beach house. It's not meant to be luxurious. This had everything that we needed and having the ocean front view morning, noon and night made up for anything it lacked. For the location and price, we will probably stay here again. Its the best bargain on the beach for ocean front views. The staff was friendly and the process was easy.

I had the pleasure of staying at Royal View, a stunning beachfront property, and it exceeded all expectations. The location is unbeatable, offering panoramic ocean views from almost every room. The beach is just steps away, making it incredibly convenient for morning walks or sunset views.Inside, the property is beautifully furnished, with modern amenities and plenty of space. The open-plan living area leads out to a spacious balcony where we enjoyed meals with a breathtaking backdrop. The bedrooms were cozy, with large windows that let in natural light and cool ocean breezes.The hosts were welcoming and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed throughout our stay. The property was immaculately clean and well-maintained. Whether you’re relaxing in the living room, lounging on the beach, or dining on the balcony, Royal View offers the perfect setting for a peaceful, memorable getaway. Highly recommended!

Not a “Cobb-quality” property compared to the two others we’ve stayed in.

I took a lamp from home with an extension cord that I ran under the couch to an outlet. Great for nighttime reading or just a little light without the ceiling lights being on. The kitchen could use new skillets and pots and pans. I would stay there again and recommend the house as a great vacation time. Cobb Real Estate is the best!!!

I really enjoyed the deck that was on two sides of the house. The house was well-furnished and extremely clean. The parking area under the house was on a concrete foundation and therefore very clean. The area was relatively quiet and we were very close to the beach. It was a great place for a getaway. Well worth the money! Also, Cobb Realty was a great company to deal with. They were very professional.

A 10” fully intact welk rose quartz and topaz quartz found just in front of house. Master bed—- vey, very FIRM, but we travel a lot and had our 3”tempurpedic mattress topper so all was well! Kitchen was ok.... cooking pans could be updated, but no biggie. It was very cold two days, discovered hot water heater is in attic so water for showers was lukewarm... again no biggie! The views and location took care of any minor issues! Cell reception was fantastic! Outdated TVs.... but no problem for us! We watch news and we had our own devices for that! We are planning to rent again in Feb/March!

Quiet, Private, and Clean

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This beach house is set at the end of the road about 5 minutes away from the hustle and bustle. It is a great place to relax with a great view of the beach. The inside is spacious and clean. The photos reflect a queen in the Master, but it is actually a King. The only draw backs were the King bed was really hard and the queen beds were really soft, but that is all preference. This house can sleep 8-10 with the sofa beds.

We are delighted that you enjoyed your stay at Highview Lodge. The king size bed in the master is almost brand new; we purchased in in April 2015. We chose a firmer bed partly because we wanted a bed that would remain comfortable for several seasons. We plan to replace the queen-size mattress later this year.

Lovely stay at the beach

The house is much nicer than in the photos, well equipped, spacious. We had a lovely time - the deck on two sides perfect, shade all the time, the only thing that would improve it is if they provided nicer patio furniture (instead of cheap, flimsy plastic chairs). That is really the only negative thing I have to say about this house and our stay.

My wife and I slept in the master bedroom. It was very comfortable. The house was very clean. My wife thought the sofas in the living room could be updated, but other than that, we were completely satisfied and we would definitely rent the same house again
