Thank you for a wonderful stay. The apartment was very nice and true to the pictures. Felt very private with a terrace backyard all to my self. Short walk down to the nearest beach, nice evening walks in to Lagos centre. The hosts were so welcoming and very nice. A wonderful week stay in Lagos, would definitely stay here again. Beautiful Stay next to Praia de Porto de Mos

We had a very warm welcome by the hosts Aida and Cristina. They showed and explained us everything in the apartment and gave us a lot of very helpful tips and recommendations for restaurants and activities around. The apartment is equipped with everything you need for a stay of a week or longer (full kitchen equipment, washing maschine, beach towels, even beach ball equipment and sun umbrellas were there). We even got some complementary fresh fruits and drinks on arrival. The apartment is in the back of the house of the family, but you have full privacy. The beach of Porto de Mos is just about 10 minutes walking distance, a small supermarket in 10 Minutes as well. Into historic city center of Lagos it is about 20 minutes walking. We really enjoyed our stay and can highly recommend it! Thank you very much, Aida and Cristina, for hosting us (and for the strawberries and farewell cake as well ;-))

Couple from Canada, we just had a few days stay at this beautiful location, and we found it just perfect. Located in a quiet residential neighbourhood, just steps from a great beach, and close to a supermarket and a few places to eat. The place actually exceeded our expectations, as the pics really don’t do justice to a splendid terrace/backyard so well maintained in tropical garden style, and more importantly, very private. A very short drive into the old town and the Marina, where all the action is, but as we preferred walking, a pleasant walk, no more of less than half hour. Everything was spotless clean and had all the needed amenities and utilities in pristine condition, like our own home. The hosts are so gracious and accommodating, very hospitable, helpful, they were happy to answer questions and give us useful informations. If we’ll have the chance to go back, we can’t think to another place to stay, as this one is so perfect. August 22, 2026

Christina war super nett und sehr hilfsbereit! Definitiv eine super Gastgeberin :)Insgesamt sah die Wohnung besser aus, als erwartet - alles sauber und Equipment total ausreichend. Die Lage war leider nur okay... Die nächsten Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind sehr weit entfernt (zumindest bei starker Hitze und Steigung). Es gab einen sehr schönen Strand in der Nähe (Canavial), der Rest ist leider zu touristisch für meinen Geschmack... Aber an sich kommt mit Uber gut und relativ günstig vorran. Sonst ist die Wohnung aber wirklich fein. Es ist ja angegeben, dass es keine Klimaanlage gibt - mit offener Schlafzimmertür ist es nachts auch soweit erträglich. Nur der Kühlschrank piept nachts sehr laut, was den Schlaf dann doch beeinträchtigt, da es keine Türe zwischen Schlafzimmer und Küche gibt.

The more central and commercial areas of the city are a bit further on foot, but they’re easy to reach by car, bus, or even Uber, as you mentioned. About the fridge beeping — thank you for pointing that out. Since it’s a built-in model, sometimes it may look closed when it’s not fully sealed, which causes the alarm to go off. Super logement bien situé

Très bon accueil, logement tout confort, literie (litdraps) très agréables pour bien dormir, propreté, tout équipé. Appartement très cosy, dans un quartier calme. Dommage qu'il y avait des travaux durant notre séjour. Mais nous avons passé un excellent séjour, proche de la mer. Facile d'accès au centre ville en voiture ou en bus. Je recommande cet établissement.

Un immeuble est en construction sur le côté de la maison donc le chantier commence à 8 heure le matin. Tractopelle, bétonnière enfin très bruyant ; pas possible de prendre le petit déjeuner sur la jolie terrasse.... Et comme vue du jardin le tractopelle garé devant. A part cela la propriétaire très gentille nous a offert des fraise de son jardin!

Magnifique séjour à Lagos

Nous avons été trés bien accueilli par Martia. Logement très propre avec jardin magnifique ainsi que la vue. Tout ce qu'il faut pour se sentir bien avec plein de petites attentions à 10 mns de la mer ..... fruit confiture lessive ect . logement parfait pour 2 il faut juste savoir que nous étions à 25 mns du centre à pieds sans voiture il faut aimer marcher. C'est un logement que je conseille vivement.

Wunderschönes Apartment in einer herrlichen Villa

Wir kamen an und waren erst einmal total begeistert von dem Anblick, der sich uns hier bot. Die Bilder werden dem tatsächlichen Erscheinungsbild gar nicht gerecht. Die Gartenlandschaft und das Apartment sind sehr gepflegt. Die Vermieterin ist sehr sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Wir haben sogar bei unserer Ankunft leckere Croissants, einen prall gefüllten Obstkorb, Bier, Milch, Marmelade und weitere Kleinigkeiten vorgefunden, die uns sehr glücklich gemacht haben. Man merkt, dass hier wirklich großer Wert drauf gelegt wurde, dass die Gäste eine tolle Zeit erleben und Ihnen an nichts fehlt! Vielen Dank für den tollen Aufenthalt! Eine ganz klare Weiterempfehlung!!!

A perfect stay!

On the day of our arrival we were warmly welcomed by Christina and her family. The place was easy to find and there was enough space for parking our car. In the apartment we found everything we needed for our stay: a great garden to relax or to have breakfast outside, a nice living room with a small TV (we could watch our holiday pictures using my HDMI-cable) with English and Portuguese channels, a well-equipped kitchen (fridge and freezer, washing machine,...), a stylish bathroom and the bedroom with twin beds. The bus stop is just about 300 m away, the bus ride into Lagos takes about 15 minutes and the bus leaves every hour. The supermarkets are just about 3 minutes away (by car). Walking to the beach took us about five minutes. The beach itself was perfect for us: lots of sand, great waves and the cliffs offer a breathtaking view. The area around Lagos (and Lagos itself) offers a great variety of sights, beaches, places for walking and there are great events like the "Fiesa". To put it all in a nutshell: we had a perfect stay in Porto de Mos. PS: Thank you Aida for those little cakes. They tasted delicious!

Super Ferienwohnung mit super netten und hilfsbereiten Vermietern

Bereits die erste Kontaktaufnahme war fix und es konnte sehr schnell alles geklärt werden und die Buchung ging dann auch super fix. Angekommen wurden wir sehr lieb empfangen und die Vermieterin hat uns alles gezeigt und erklärt und uns auch direkt ein paar Tipps für unseren Aufenthalt gegeben. Auch während unseres Urlaubs konnten wir jederzeit bei der Vermieterin nachfragen, wenn wir etwas wissen wollten und uns wurde auch immer direkt geholfen. Alleine schon für die netten Vermieter können 5 Sterne + hinterlassen werden. Die Wohnung selbst bietet mehr, als die Beschreibung vermuten lässt. Alle angegebenen Dinge sind vorhanden und bei unserer Anreise haben wir auch einen Korb mit Obst, ein wenig was zum naschen und zwei leckere Bier vorgefunden. Die Küche ist super ausgestattet und man hat alles, was man für eine Selbstversorgung benötigt (wobei abends natürlich auch diverse Restaurants besucht wurden). Ebenfalls entsprach das Schlafzimmer, Bad und der Wohnraum unseren Vorstellungen. (Zur Ausstattung haben ja bereits schon einge was hinterlassen und die anderen Bewertungen passen hier auf jeden Fall.) Mehr als poitiv war die Terasse mit dem eigenen Garten, auf der wir jeden Morgen unser Frühstück genießen konnten und als erstes habe ich auch immer einen kleinen Blick nach dem aufstehen auf das Meer geworfen. Als Ausgangspunkt für die Erkundung der Algaveküste ist, wie ich finde, der Standort der Wohnung perfekt und wenn man mal den Strand vor Ort nutzen möchte, so ist dieser in weniger als 10 Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen und auch sonst ist, wenn man kein Auto vor Ort hat, alles Fußläufig erreichbar (Supermarkt, Stadt, Strand usw.), wobei wir ein Auto hatten und das auch nur empfehlen können. Allen einen schönen Aufenthalt und noch mal lieben Dank an die Vermieter für die Gastfreundschaft und wenn alles klappt, dann sehen wir uns im nächsten Jahr wieder.

Wunderschöne ruhige Unterkunft

Wunderschöne ruhige Unterkunft. Sehr sauber. Die Vermieterin ist sehr hilfsbereit, zuvorkommend, nett und aufmerksam, aber nie aufdringlich. Es ist wirklich alles vorhanden vom Spülmittel über Salz bis zum Sonnenschirm und kleiner Kühltasche für den Strand. Sehr aufmerksam ist der gekühlte Willkommenstrunk im Kühlschrank und die reichlich gefüllte Obstschale auf dem Tisch. Die Strände sind gut zu Fuß erreichbar und auch in Lagos ist man zu Fuß in 20 Minuten. Ein idealer ruhiger Standort für einen Urlaub zu zweit. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Sehr schöne FeWo in absolut ruhiger Lage

Wir haben sehr erholsame 14 Tage in dieser schönen kleinen FeWo verbracht. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit und haben uns viele Tipps für Restaurant-Besuche und Ausflüge gegeben. Die Wohnung ist gut ausgestattet und sehr sauber, wurde sogar einmal zwischendurch gereinigt. Bettwäsche und Handtücher wurden auch nach einer Woche getauscht. Super! Die Ruhe im separaten Garten ist einfach herrlich und der Strand ist in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß gut zu erreichen. Der lange Sandstrand von Meia Praia vor Lagos ist mit dem Auto in wenigen Minuten erreichbar. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Muito obrigado - Vielen Dank.

A perfect stay (apart from the weather!)

The apartment was perfect for our needs - everything had been catered for, right down to a heater and fluffy blankets because of the unexpected cold weather due to hurricane Emma. We had a super welcome food pack waiting for us. Hot water for washing and showers was abundant. The owners were attentive but unobtrusive. Shame the weather was so poor as we didn't get the chance to use the lovely garden. We found a short cut to the beach from the apartment, turn left out of apartment, up the road until you see a gap on the right between 2 very new properties. Take this path. This leads you to a road (turn right) which takes you straight down onto the sea front (wish we'd found it day one!). Local beach restaurants are good. Would definitely come again. Thank you.

Sehr schöne private FeWo in ruhiger gut-situierter Umgebung

Die FeWo war gemütlich & nett dekoriert u. mit allem nötigen ausgestattet. Der Empfang durch die Vermieterin war toll, da sie uns ein paar Lebensmittel i.d. Kühlschrank gestellt und Brötchen bereit gelegt hatte, da wir erst sehr spät ankamen. Somit konnten wir das erste Frühstück entspannt angehen! Die Lage ist gut, da es ruhig ist, man aber rel. schnell zum Strand + kleinen Supermarkt (je ca. 6-8 min zu Fuß) u. Stadtzentrum (ca. 20 min zu Fuß) kommt. Meine Portugiesisch-Kenntnisse waren sehr gern gesehen, dadurch haben wir uns mit dem Vermieter-Ehepaar super angefreundet. Den einen oder anderen guten Tipp haben wir dadurch dann auch bekommen. Wir haben es sehr genossen! (Aproveitamos bastante! :-)) Muito obrigado - Vielen Dank

Kleine schnuckelige Wohnung für zwei

Das war wirklich ein sehr schöner Urlaub. Nicht zuletzt wegen der Unterkunft. Eine Süße kleine Wohnung in ruhiger Lage mit Blick aufs Meer. Besonders haben wir unser Frühstück auf der Trasse genossen mit Blick auf de wunderschönen Garten. Hatten auf der Rückseite des Hauses unser eigenes kleines reich.
