Villa Bienvenida is a luxurious, privately-owned property at Isla 33 Resort & Villas located on the ground level. The property sleeps up to 6 guests in two large bedrooms 2 king beds and one queen air bed) and is perfect for a romantic getaway, a family vacation, friends traveling together, or your bridal party. Enjoy stunning water views from most rooms – the living room, kitchen, dining, and master suite all look out on the Caribbean ocean. The rooftop pool and patio area are gorgeous and the views of the entire island are simply breathtaking. Less than 10 minutes from the great restaurants and fun of Hidalgo Street and North Beach, Villa Bienvenida is ideally situated in the center of Isla Mujeres, where you’ll enjoy tranquility, beautiful sea breezes, and unparalleled ocean views.

The Villa features a spacious, open concept plan. As you enter the large living area, the first thing you notice is the spectacular view of the Caribbean Sea. Thanks to the wall-spanning pocket doors, the view is completely unobstructed, and you’ll enjoy the beautiful sea breeze. Across the living rooms is the entrance to the master suite with the same gorgeous views, with pocket doors and a spacious patio. The master bedroom features hand-made domed brick ceilings – a traditional architectural detail in the Yucatan region. The beautiful Jacuzzi area shares the ocean view, and the oversized tub is surrounded by hand-cut tikul tile. The ensuite bath connects the Jacuzzi to the shower and toilet areas, flanked by a large closet area.

The spacious living and dining room adjoins a granite breakfast bar and a very large kitchen with granite countertops with stainless steel appliances. The kitchen is fully equipped so you can make basic meals there, or even create a gourmet meal should you so desire. The guest bedroom is just off the dining room - a large room with huge closets and sliding glass doors to access the fenced-in back yard. The second bath is just outside the bedroom and features a large walk-in shower and stone sink.

Perfect holiday condo

Isla 33 Bienvenida was a beautiful condo just right for us. Great location, well-equipped, with good pub food at the Irish bar on the property. The view was stunning. Would love to return some day!

Great condo

The condo is very large with everything you need. I didn’t even realize there were two large bedrooms and two bathrooms when I booked. Comfortable beds and gorgeous views. Will definitely come again

Isla 33 vacation villa

This property was awesome. The actual views and the size of our room exceeded our expectations. The person who met us provided excellent information not only about our room but local attractions. The bar and restaurant were very good! Everyone we came into contact with were very nice and helpful!

Isla 33 stay

Isla 33 was a great option for a quick spring break for me and my teenage son. The layout offered us our own space; separate bedrooms and bathrooms with spacey common areas. The location had great views and was a short distance to the center of town. Check-in and checkout was seamless. Would certainly recommend this property.

A get away to Paradise!

Our family LOVED this beautiful condo! It’s even more beautiful than in the photos! It’s huge! The view of the ocean, the restaurant within a few steps, the 3 swimming pools…..it’s perfect! When we had questions, we were helped immediately by the manager of the condo. We will always return to this beautiful condo on beautiful Isla Mujeres.

Beautiful Location and Space

We had a wonderful trip to Isla and this location was perfect! The cleanliness of the space was top notch, amenities plenty, and the host provided access to everything we needed during our stay. Arrival and departure was a breeze and the the concierge Chema was so kind and helpful. I even had problems paying in full because of a glitch on the Vrbo website and the host consistently communicated with me to assure that our reservation was 100% secure to ease my fears. They even went as far as to let us pay cash upon our arrival. Would definitely recommend to other travelers!

Spectacular view!

Check in is a bit of a hassle when you are trying to avoid roaming charges. After that, being on wi-fi and using the WhatsApp, communication with property manager is seamless. The condo is clean, spacious and comfortable. It is situated nicely for getting to both ends of the Island and the view is awesome. Being on the ground floor was handy, as we had our elderly parents with us.

Excellent place to stat

Our state was excellent from start to finish. The check in process was amazingly easy and the communication with Gabriella was excellent. The condo was everything we needed and more. Plenty of space gray kitchen and a great location. Any issues that we had were imediately handled. Every time we started running low on water Moore appeared almost immediately. When we come back to IIS LA we will be staying here again.

Wonderful Property

Very clean and spacious! Convenient ground floor access just steps away from the pool. The view is a bit diminished from the patio on lower level but the 3rd floor common area makes up for it! The large rear patio was great for airing out our floats, wet suits and beach toys. The washer and dryer in the unit was also beneficial. There are a few beach chairs, a small cooler and grocery bags that we found helpful. We found the beds to be rather firm- still offering a restful sleep after full days spent on the beautiful beach. A thorough cleaning was provided half way through our 10 day stay. Don’t hesitate to book, the accommodations are great!

Glorious ocean views

My husband and I stayed 7 weeks at this property and loved waking up every day to the view of the Caribbean. The condo complex is very well cared for with staff that work hard to assure the pools, the grounds and the building are clean and cared for inside and out. The location is mid island, away from the hustle and bustle of the north island and walkable to both ends of the island, which we really liked. The only thing we didn’t love about the location was the road noise on the road between us and the sea. The condo was well laid out and large enough for us to comfortably have a variety of guests (friends and family) during our stay. The afternoon live music at the complex was a plus. The rooftop pool and rooftop views of the sunset were delightful.

Chema is the man

We enjoyed sitting at the pool and looking at the ocean. The condo was immaculate and well stocked. We were two couples and had enough space to spread out. For us being in the quiet section was just what we wanted. I was not happy with my initial communication with Gabriela, it took several emails and too long to straighten out dates. If it had not been past the point of not receiving a refund, I would have cancelled. However Chema the property manager was awesome. I had already heard he was a legend and he definitely lived up to his reputation. He set up a golf cart for us, made excellent local food suggestions and made sure that we got picked up at the ferry and taken back to the Cancun airport. Would def rent again because of him.

Great Spot

A large, lovely ground floor condo with great quiet pools. The best pool was just steps from our front door! Super and quiet AC with controls in all rooms, important in July. Great kitchen with newer appliances and laundry stocked with all the little cleaning things you hate to buy for a week or two. What has never been mentioned is the property directly behind. It actually backs onto a large treed park with paths and childrens play thing such as swings and climbing ropes and such. Rarely used so not noisy, but if you have bored young ones it’s perfect. We only saw the odd resident walking an on leash dog, but recommended it to other guests with children and they found it a blessing. It is called Iguana Park, and the entrance is on the first street north (towards downtown) and half a block west (away from the ocean). Easily walkable, but there is a parking lot. Summary, a great condo with excellent support staff (yes, we locked ourselves out and broke the lock on the front sliding door but they were summoned by the on-site restaurant and we were saved immediately). Highly recommended!☀️👍

Perfect Island getaway

We loved our stay at Isla 33. The condo was exceptionally clean and comfortable. We were met at the property by Chema and he was professional and friendly and helped us throughout our stay. The kitchen has upgraded appliances and the washer and dryer were a bonus that we all loved. Fresh water, cleaning supplies and detergent were made available to us in the condo. The property has 3 pools. The roof top pool was a little hot for us, and one of the two ground level pools was out of service for the last part of our stay, but it didn't bother us. The views of the ocean from the condo are gorgeous. The Irish restaurant and bar on site was a fun place to hang out, or have dinner. The condo was close to Chedauri supermarket and we were able to shop for groceries and liquor easily. The locals were friendly and we enjoyed trying different taco places and local carts for delicious food. The island seemed to have rolling blackouts/power outages often, but Isla 33 has a back up generator so the power was only off for a few minutes at most, while other parts of the island lost power for several hours. Another huge bonus. Isla Mujeres is our favorite vacation destination, and we will definitely be booking here again! Thank you for helping making this our best vacation EVER.

Amazing!

Our experience and stay at Villa Bienvenido was amazing from the minute we booked it until the minute we left. Gaby and Nahim with Mundaca were so wonderful to work with, they were so accommodating, quick to respond, so gracious and just a pleasure to work with. The condo itself was just as described- "Stunning". It was perfect! It was so clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. Furnishings were top notch and new. Having the washer and dryer was a huge plus and the location in the complex was exactly what we wanted (we loved being on the ground floor close to the pool with easy access in and out of the condo). The Isla 33 complex was so wonderful, the grounds are beautiful and well cared for. We loved the rooftop pool and having the ground level pool available when we needed to get out of the sun in the evening. All of the security guys on duty were so friendly as were the owners of several of the other condos that we met. They were all so helpful with giving us tips on where to go and what to do. My husband, best friend and myself had the most amazing time at Isla 33- you will too! Everything was perfect and we can't wait to go back. Thanks so much Gaby and Nahim, you guys are the best!

Isla 33

My husband and I did a last minute 5 night Isla get-away and stayed at this wonderful new condo complex. We had beautiful accommodations in a large 2 bedroom 2 bathroom suite with full kitchen. Cori, the owner of our unit, was very helpful in making sure we had a great experience! We were on the ground floor with magnificent views of the Caribbean sea. This was our 6th visit to Isla Mujeres. We have stayed on North Beach and side facing Cancun. We enjoy seeing different vantage points on the island. We liked this one for the view of the rough side of the island. We walked into La Gloria for pictures and dinner at Limon, walked into Colonia for breakfast, rented a golf cart, took cabs into town, and even got picked up by perfect strangers who took us into North Beach. Chris, the property manager was most excellent to deal with. He gave us a tour of the island and other units on the premises . They are in the process of building an incredible roof top infinity pool/lounge with panoramic views of the island. It is still under construction so it was a bit noisy during the day--which we avoided most of the time as we were elsewhere. There is an on-site bar/restaurant that has opened recently --they make good breakfast smoothies! The staff there is excellent, especially J.J. We would definitely recommend this as a upscale destination!

Horrible service from condo's recommendation

We were recommended to use Jose from Isla Mujeres Vacations from property management firm. Three weeks before scheduled arrival date, we paid $595 USD in advance for large golf cart rental for 6 days through IslaMujeresVacations website. Jose contracted with another company for the large golf cart even though they have negative reviews from hundreds of reviewers on TripAd to include unavailable Large Golf Cart after advance payment for rental. Unsurprisingly, the golf cart was not available upon arrival and we were still waiting for it next day throughout the morning after countless promises for delivery within 30 minutes if we just could wait for it. Jose kept making excuses and refused to refund the almost $600 charged for the rental when asked. He clearly does not care that it is an awful way to start a vacation and the importance of customer service when your business is the middle man between customer and providers. The 4 stars for condo is only for the recommendation to use Isla Mujeres Vacations for large golf cart rental. Otherwise the property is nice and the views from rooftop pool is amazing.

Having travelled extensively all over the world including most of the Caribbean, when we first visited Isla Mujeres in 2010, we felt drawn to the incredible ambience of this tiny island. For the first time in our travel history, we felt we wanted not just to return again, but to eventually live and retire here. When we first visited Isla 33, it was in the early stages of construction, but we knew we wanted to be a part of it. How happy are we that we were able to make our dream come true!

What makes this property unique

As part of our concierge service, we can arrange to have a golf cart waiting for you when you arrive. There is an additional charge for the golf cart rental, standard rental rates apply. Additionally, we can stock the fridge with beer, water, soft drinks, etc. so you can start relaxing immediately, for a service fee. Our standard maid is cleaning every 7 days but we can arrange for more frequent visits (additional charge) if desired. Looking for a personal chef to come in and create an unforgettable meal? No problem! We can make arrangements for that too.
