Located on the south and quieter end of the island, it overlooks the Garrafon Natural Reef Park – where snorkeling, kayaking, flying over Isla Mujeres on the zip-line and detoxing at the Mayan sauna is just at your doorstep.

If a day of total relaxation is more up your alley, take a dip in the infinity pool and later indulge in a well-deserved siesta.

Enjoy this residence's vast sun-filled interiors and modern minimalist design that is beautifully presented throughout with a focus on multiple living and entertainment options.

1st level: 

•    Make use of a fully-equipped kitchen, stylish dining area and living room with a comfy couch and flat screen TV, and an elegant shared bathroom. Perfect for entertaining or keeping the young ones busy.

The unit was very clean and spacious. The views from each of the three balconies was incredible. The pool was impeccable and never crowded. An access to the ocean for swimming or snorkeling is available just across the street.Although the unit is located on the "quiet" side of the island, several restaurants are within walking distance. Delia, the Home Manager, was amazingly responsive and along with César, the housekeeper, provided an outstanding quality of service.

As a family of 5, traveling can get hectic. This was our first time traveling out of the country and Delia made it so much easier for us. She set up all of our transportation and the golf cart drop off and pick up. Without her help, I think we would have definitely had a stressful start to our vacation. We were greeted upon arrival and she was very responsive to any questions we had during our stay. The staff on site were also great. The condo was gorgeous and very clean. We enjoyed the pool everyday, as well as the jacuzzi tub. We had a hard time finding a public beach on the south end, because there are many beach clubs. On our last day we paid to use the gafarron beach right behind the condo and had a blast. Well worth the money! We also used the golf cart and were able to walk down to a beach area on the Atlantic side. There is a bar/restaurant called The Joint that has live music right down the road. There is also another restaurant within walking distance with amazing tacos and you can feed horses. A little further down the road is a coffee van. Great coffee and such a fun spot to start the morning! This area is much quieter and low key than the main town, which we loved!! If it weren't for the location and the beautiful home, I dont think we would have enjoyed Isla Mujeres as much as we did. Absolutely recommend staying here! FYI, there are a lot of stairs from the entrance gate to the top balcony of the house (79-84 depending on which one of my kids you ask)

Amazing view! Very easy check in and check out. Great a/c and decent beds. Unit was very clean. Close to little Garrafon which was super inexpensive and not crowded with great snorkeling! Beautiful roof top and comfortable outdoor furniture. The only suggestion would be a little more seating in the living room. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay!

This was our third time staying at Sotavento and first in this unit. Beds were comfortable and it was very clean. Hosts were very responsive and helpful. The. at home chef the hosts recommend was excellent in every way and we highly recommend Pedro.The kitchen could use sharper knives, better silverware, a dish drying rack, and a a collider/strainer. . The location at the south end is great and Rancho just a the street has excellent tacos. Jose, the maintenance man, is very accommodating. Note- condo is on the third floor and there is no elevator. Would stay here again.
