Discover the best kept lodging secret in Breckenridge. Better than a condo or any other Breckenridge vacation rental. Enjoy a true Colorado experience in this Private Log House, right off ski hill road and 5 minutes from downtown. Our three bedroom, two bath rustic log home has a large kitchen, living room with a large stone fireplace, two decks and a private hot tub that overlooks the Arapahoe National Forest. Well-equipped with everything you need for a relaxing getaway in Breckenridge. However, we do not allow parties or possession of marijuana or drugs at the house.

The main floor also has the master bedroom and a full bathroom with laundry facilities. Upstairs are three bedrooms, one with a full-size bed and two with bunk beds. There is another full bath on the second floor. All the bedrooms have large windows which provide breathtaking views. Enjoy moose, elk and deer right out your back door.

This incredible location is minutes from the base of the Peak Eight ski area with convenient access to world-class skiing and snowboarding. You can enjoy snowshoeing or cross country skiing on the Peaks trail system which winds behind the property. Ice skating, sledding and horse drawn sleigh rides are just down the road. In the summer, enjoy mountain biking, hiking, fishing, boating on Lake Dillon and golf at the Jack Nicholas designed Breckenridge Golf Course.

Best of all, downtown Breckenridge is just down the hill. Easy access to all the shops, restaurants, galleries, and entertainment that this charming Victorian town has to offer. We are located close to the Breckenridge recreation center which has workout facilities, swimming, tennis, rock climbing and day care.

We had a wonderful stay at Pick Seven in Breckenridge. The home itself was lovely, comfortable, and well suited for our family, and the surroundings were absolutely beautiful. Great place to stay!

We had a wonderful week long stay here! It was the perfect home base for a ski trip for 6 adults. It’s about 10-15 minute drive to Breckenridge and about an hour drive to Vail. We made good use of the hot tub and the fireplace. Would highly recommend this place!

The cabin was awesome beds could be up dated Mattress need replacement but other than that it was very nice had every thing you would need location was great very easy to get around saw moose twice the views were breathtaking. Would stay there again.

Convenient Seclusion

Moose Cabin helped make our mountain vacation just perfect. It was the seclusion we needed with the convenience of being 5min from town. The cabin was spacious and had all of the amenities we needed to feel like home. We will certainly be back.

Awesome Mountain escape

The property was very clean and exactly how it was described. Very large home with more than enough space for my wife and I and our two kids, 13 and 10. We loved the hot tub and private wooded area. Would stay again when in Breckenridge.

Perfect summer vacation cabin

My husband and two daughters loved our stay at the Moose Cabin! We loved the view from the back deck and hot tub. The hiking straight from the cabin on Peaks Trail was a total bonus. Plenty of room, comfy beds and furniture. Nicely stocked kitchen. Loved being a little out of town up in the mountains but not too far to run in for dinner or ice cream. Great rental! Beautiful location!

Fall trip to Breckenridge

September is a great time to travel to Breckenridge, and staying at this unit was very enjoyable. Sitting on the back deck while observing a secluded view of the forest, and hearing nothing but peace and quiet was just the getaway we needed. We’ll be back!

Great Stay in Breckenridge

We loved staying at the Moose House and it lived up to it's name! The place is clean and the hot tub is excellent. It's close to town so we really took advantage of waling around Breckenridge. The best part was the mama and baby moose that came to visit one morning! They even laid down for a bit to take a nap. That evening the bull came looking for them, it was a great experience and memories I will cherish forever.

Excellent getaway with easy Breck access

We stayed six nights through the new year ('23-'24). This cabin is a beautiful getaway with easy access to Breckenridge! You feel immersed in the mountains, and a short drive to town gives you easy access to everything Breckenridge offers. The back of the property opens up to public land, so you feel like you have your own piece of the mountain to yourself. If we get the chance to come back to Breckenridge, this is the first place we will check for availability.
