Forget cramped mountain getaways. Located within the Valmeinier-Valloire ski area, our chalet offers the comfort of a 4-star hotel combined with the charm of a mountain chalet.

It is ideally situated in the heart of the Maurienne Valley mountains, perfect for year-round activities—whether it’s alpine skiing or ski touring in winter and spring, or hiking around Mont Thabor or the Galibier massif.

We welcome cyclists and provide a secure garage, a repair stand, and a wash station; we are located just 7 km from the Col du Télégraphe, right in the middle of the Maurienne Valley—the world's largest cycling area.

Situated in the lovely hamlet of Les Mélèzes and offering unobstructed views (with no overlooking neighbors), Chalet Le 1000 Thabor opens up 180 degrees to the surrounding mountains, including the famous Col du Télégraphe. In summer, you can enjoy the peace and quiet, the splendid views, and the cool alpine air. In winter, a frequent free shuttle takes you to the village center and the chairlift base in just 5 minutes.

IMPORTANT: By default, the chalet is rented for 15 people with 5 bedrooms; the 6th bedroom is an optional extra available for an additional €250 per stay.

- Spacious bedrooms featuring high-comfort bedding, ample closet space, and en-suite bathrooms with toilets, just like in a hotel.
- A fully equipped kitchen, including a food processor and two large fridge-freezers.

- A large Finnish sauna to help you recover after a day of activity. - Towels and bed linen are provided. Beds are made upon arrival.
- A boot dryer in the entrance vestibule, and a laundry room with a washer and dryer.
- A private garden equipped in summer with parasols, sun loungers, picnic tables, and a large barbecue.
- An 11 kW charging station for electric vehicles.
