About this property
Character barn conversion near Dartmoor
Acorn Cottage is a self-contained semi-detached character granite barn and makes up part of a complex of converted former farm buildings. The property has been adapted for use by disabled guests, with the ground floor having wider doorways and being tiled throughout for ease of access by wheelchair. Downstairs, there is an entrance hall, a double bedroom (with direct access to the parking space) with TV/DVD, wet room fully equipped with shower seat and safety rails, kitchen with lowered work surfaces and hob, plus oven, microwave, fridge-freezer and dishwasher. A short flight of stairs leads up to a lounge, which includes a sofa, additional seating, TV and DVD player, and a second bedroom which is twin-bedded. Please note that the upstairs rooms have partially restricted height due to sloping ceilings. Outside, there is a small lawned area, and patio furniture and a BBQ are provided. A travel cot and highchair are available. Wi-Fi is available free of charge.
A maximum of two pets are permitted (there is an additional charge of £30 per week or part thereof, which covers both pets). As there is livestock in nearby fields, dogs must be kept on a lead at all times when outside the cottage.
