Beneath a warm, paneled ceiling, the living room is spacious yet cozy, with a gas fireplace and TV. The detailed architecture continues in the dining room and kitchen with wooden ceiling beams. A corner bar has an ice maker. Nearby is a guest bedroom, king, a hall bath, and laundry. Out back the screened porch has a dining table and grill.

The second floor begins with a cute and cozy loft area, with TV. Three more bedrooms are down the hall, a triple-twin bunk, a guest king, and a primary bedroom, king, with a claw foot bathtub. This back bedroom flows into a private screened porch.

The attached carriage house, also with paneled ceiling, has a king bed, bunks with a trundle, kitchenette, dining table, and bath with shower.

Summer trip!

There were 12 of us and there was plenty of space and the layout of the house was great! Great location as well. Positive experience, we have nothing but good things to say about the house and the amenities that come along with being at a watercolor property!

SO so good!

We had a wonderful time at the rental in Watercolor! It was perfect for our 3 families, (ten people). The front porch and swinging daybed were the best part for sure!! It was very close to Camp Watercolor, which was great for the kids, but it wasn't at all loud. Can't wait to go back!

We absolutely loved our first trip to Watercolors in the Seaside area. Your house was beautiful, well equipped, and functional. We loved the location and the decor. Even better than expected

Perfect house for us and our teen son with several of his friends. We all had plenty of space. The house was lovely and well-appointed with a stocked kitchen. We especially enjoyed the walking trails, proximity to the beach and relative calm of the neighborhood. We hope to be back and would highly recommend!

Pros-clean, good set up for our family, good location, nice kitchen appliances. The bedding and pillows were poor quality. The first floor bedroom was freezing and there wasn’t a blanket. You need a larger trash can in the kitchen.

The setup is great for a large family (10 adults and 1 child), and the location is perfect. The property management let us check in a little early, which was wonderful since we were all traveling a long distance. The house is across the street from a great pool, within walking distance to the grocery store, and a short bike/golf cart ride to the beach. Watercolors is a fabulous location.

The electrical outlet outside the garage did not work so I had to plug the golf cart into an outlet on the house - the Water Color security did not like me parking there to recharge the golf cart but this was the only outlet that worked.

There was a lot of construction while we were there and pools closed. When construction is completed it will be better. The house though is well planned and spacious. Kitchen is well stocked and very large dining table. Fireplaces are a plus. We enjoyed front porch swing and the bicycles.

Back in Time from the Front Porch

We enjoyed all 3 porches but it was lovely being on the front porch greeting those strolling by or pedaling by on bicycles. It was like staying in a park setting with trees and plants surrounding us. The kitchen was equipped with wonderful cook and bakeware, the best we have ever experienced. The gas grill actually worked well and after the hurricane we enjoyed use of it the first days on our return. We found this home to be just perfect in all ways Oversee staff are so gracious to work with and we highly recommend you using the company.

From response time regarding questions to the procedures they had in place, we were very satisfied. The property was clean and exactly how it was described. The code system for the doors was so incredibly convenient. You cannot beat the location and the amenities within Watercolor!!I really have no complaints! I can honestly say as nice as the pictures make the house look, it's actually even nicer in person, which is rare! We will definitely be going through Oversee again, as well as hopefully staying in Making Memories on our next trip!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great time overall at the Making Memories home. The house was a perfect size for our group and in a great location. The house was clean, however there were areas where it could have been cleaner, there was dust and spider webs on lamps and under beds. Also the bikes were not in the best shape, I did call and ask the bike company to replace a few bikes, but they did not get to us during our stay. However we used the ones that were there and had a great time riding to and from the beach.Overall I would rent the house again and recommend it to others.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a blast at this home. Location was great, and having 4 king beds all with ensuites was perfect, for 4 adult couples. Plenty of room for all. We loved all the outside seating areas and were able to eat dinner by the fireplace outside, in Jan, it was wonderful. Having use of the garage was amazing and being able to keep the bikes there a bonus. We had a few issues with the home but Oversee where on it! They sent people out afterhours as we stayed over a holiday weekend! One call was all it took each time. Thank you

Called the management company every day!

Great location and house perfect layout for my family. However, I called the management company every day! We had to address several issues upon arrival, which should have been previously taken care of… gas grill & 1 bike broke, front door wouldn’t lock and back deck slippery and water pooled between garage and deck. Lightbulbs needed to be replaced, only one dish towel and 3 wine glasses were provided. It was filthy upon arrival, dirty towels, floors, bathrooms so had to have it recleaned. I wish I could have contacted the owner directly, I will not rent this property again.

The air condition stopped working overnight, resulting in a very uncomfortable night’s sleep. The dish washer wouldn’t work, had to hand wash dishes. The toilet downstairs clogged several times. The main TV and one in carriage house did not consistently work.

Making Memories....a great family beach home!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Making Memories is a wonderful home for a family vacation. The carriage house is perfect to accomodate one family in itself, while the main house will comfortably house 2 more families. Very homey and plenty of room and the location of the house in Watercolor is great for kids to easily walk or bike to the pool and green areas. Oversee rentals did a great job with the booking and checking in process. ALL directions were given in a timely matter with all guest codes, keys, watercolor passes,etc.. provided upon check in. The only thing I can mention is that parking at this home is really tight. You do not have access to their garage and there is only a small parking pad behind the house that backs up to another home. When you drive large SUVs it does make parking a little tricky but we survived the week with 3 large suburbans. Definitely bring more paper towels and TP. You will run out within the first couple of days, but other than that the home provided everything we needed! CAn't wait until next year!!!

Wonderful place to stay!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The Making Memories home is very nice and comfortable. All the beds were comfortable and cozy. The location of the home is very convenient to downtown seaside but also away from the hubbub. Overall the property was clean when we arrived except for the cottage apartment above the garage. The bathroom toilet was not clean. However, management did arrive very timely when called and took care of the issue promptly. Suggestions I have are to provide more than 2 dish towels, pot holders and placemats. We called on the dish towels and only 2 more were provided along with 2 pot holders. Since the home can sleep between 12-16 people, 2 dish towels does not equate especially if a lot of cooking is done, which we did. The lack of pot holders was frustrating as this is a no-brainer essential item. The lack of placemats meant the table was used with no protection, which can cause unwarranted scratches on it. We were very careful, but someone else might not.
