We enjoyed our week long stay in Angel Fire in mid June. The house was cozy but could have used a good cleaning before our arrival inside and out. The patio had a layer of yellow pollen that we had to spray off before we could enjoy it. After that, the patio was amazing! We cook most of our meals at home unfortunately, the kitchen appliances are in need of updating for sure. There were plenty of fans to help us cool off during the middle of the day and the basement was super cool in temperature and fun activities. All in all, we enjoyed our stay.
We loved our stay in this roomy and clean cabin. Perfect location to the slopes. It gave us plenty of room to cook, play games and enjoy the views. Host was very responsive and truly cared about making sure our stay was great!
We were very pleased with the cabin and all the room we had!! It was great having 3 beds 3 baths! The roomy kitchen & dining room was a perfect place for us to gather and play our Santa games!! I’d gladly re book!
And older property but very well maintained and very comfy and cozy. Place outside to stretch and play and room inside to stretch out. Had an issue with the access panel at front door but owner responded quickly and issue was resolved. Would stay here again.
Great location, easy to find, and close to the lake. Plenty of board games and shuffle board and fooseball table in the basement for evening entertainment!
This place was adorable and perfect for our ski vacation to Angelfire. Very clean, lots of space, great neighborhood, short drive to the slopes and town, easy check-in and out process, and very clear instructions posted all over the cabin. We would definitely book again when returning to the area!

Perfect ski vacation
The cabin was perfect for our two families. The cabin matched the description perfectly. It was our first trip to Angel Fire and the location of the cabin was super easy. We even had deer walking across the property which the kids loved. We will certainly visit again.
This property worked out great for our gang of adult mountain bikers. Garage plenty big for bike storage, a full bath on each floor for showers. Sweet cabin in the midst of tall, fragrant pines. I would stay again at this property.
Our family had a wonderful stay at this property. It was close to the slopes, very roomy/comfortable, and had entertainment for the teens/kids including sleds and a basement with shuffleboard and foosball. The house was clean, cozy, and supplied well. Communication was very prompt with questions answered fully. We recommend this property for your next adventure in the mountains!
We loved staying at this cabin. We took a short walk down the hill to play and fish by the lake. Comfy beds and lots of space for everyone. The porch was perfect for morning coffee and evening sunset watching. The loft did get a little stuffy and took a while to cool down. Otherwise we loved it!

ALCES LODGE - FAMILY VACATION
Nice accommodations. Really enjoyed sitting out on deck in the evenings with a glass of wine after a day of hiking. Enjoyed the back area with picnic tables and horseshoe pit. BBQ pit had to be cleaned before we could use it, but we bought tools to clean it before & after our use. Fire pit was unusable due to previous fire debris that was saturated from several days of rain before our arrival.

What makes this property unique
Cabin is rustic appearing from the outside, but spacious and comfortable on the inside. Main room has fireplace, couch and chairs and stunning view from large windows. Large, hardwood kitchen table with bright table settings make any meal special. Kitchen with upgraded appliances, kitchenware, blender, coffee maker, toaster. Finished basement with bar, television, table and standing shuffleboard table. Nestled among large trees with huge deck and outdoor fire pit if you want a cowboy breakfast! Great retreat for skiers with indoor storage for skis/boots. Many species of wildlife, short walk through backyard to Monte Verde Lake. Less than a mile to main road, very close to golf. Hiking trails everywhere with Carson National Forest surrounding the resort. Paradise for ATVs. World class mountain bike course on mountain. Wifi available.
