The Maui Kamaole is a luxurious low-rise, townhouse-style complex on 23 tropical acres set on a hill overlooking the ocean. The property has two beautiful swimming pools. The pool closest to our unit is set in a tropical garden with a waterfall and has an adjacent sand bottom hot tub/spa. The property has numerous well maintained Weber BBQs, tennis courts, and wonderful ocean views.

Updated, spacious 2 bedroom & 2 bathroom condo. Great for two couples or a family.
California king size bed in the upstairs, and 2 twin size beds downstairs.

Crib / playpen and booster seat.

Fantastic stay! It was a huge bonus that they beach gear - towels, snorkels, beach chairs, beach toys, cooler. Saved us a ton of money not having to rent or buy it.

Amazing Unit

Perfect stay in paradise

We loved your beautiful home so much. It is clean and beautifully decorated and has anything you could want. We made breakfasts and lunch there every day and enjoyed just relaxing. The beds are comfortable. The gardens in the complex are so beautiful too. We hated to leave. Thank you for sharing your home with us

Great townhouse complex!

We really enjoyed our vacation and the townhouse for 6 ppl was very convenient. The unit had nice extras such as beach chairs, umbrella, snorkel gear and sand toys. The upper pool area is simply stunning with amazing landscaping, we spent a lot of afternoons there. Great washer/dryer! Great stay. (Recommend replacing the sofabed, though)

Great location with awesome beach accessories

I stayed here with my family of 4. We really enjoyed the home and it was very quiet at night. Past guests have left several beach chairs and a great beach umbrella. I could not have asked for anything more. We had plenty of room and the house had everything you need for an awesome stay. It was a short 5 minute walk to the beach.

A+ condo

We thoroughly enjoyed our time in J202. It is a quiet, spacious, well appointed unit that makes you feel like you are a guest in someone's home. We appreciated all the extra touches especially the baby gear, as we traveled with a grandchild. We would highly recommend it!

Great retreat!

Me and my family stayed in Brian and Anuok's condo in July of 2023. Amazing location, close to beautiful beaches and shops. Condo is very spacious, fully stocked with comfortable beds. It was exactly what we needed at a great price. Brian was easily reached to answer all of my questions. Great place! Would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend! Nice place to stay

Loved the condo! Appreciated all the beach amenities they had to use beach toys etc. enjoyed the pool and condo was very nice equipped well. Only thing not thrillled about was a few bugs seen in the unit centipede and roaches (not bad just a few) the pull out couch wasn’t cleaned before our stay, sheets were dirty on it and several trash items on floor in the couch meaning it wasn’t cleaned after last guest. I would stay again though because all in all it was nice.

Great home away

Clean, spacious condo. Enough room for us and our 3 teenagers. Very quiet. The grounds are well kept and beautiful. The BBQ and pool are very close to condo as well. We rarely used the air conditioner because we could just open the patio doors and get cross ventilation. Can easily drive to the beach and amenities from here. To walk would be a bit of a hike, as the Maui Kamaole is up a hill. We have no complaints, and would stay here again.

Great property for the price on Maui. Location was very good (easy walking distance to Kamole beach III) and condo complex was very nice. Some parts of the unit were older, like the kitchen and carpeting in the living room. Pull out bed really needs replacing. Bedrooms, bathrooms and overall amount of space was great. If this unit had a few more updates, would definitely rate it higher. Check in and check out was very easy.

Terrific Property

This was such a wonderful place to stay. The location was perfect. It was a short, pretty walk down to the beach for early morning swims and evening sunsets. At the same time, the condo felt very private and peaceful and we really enjoyed time on the Lanai. The unit itself was very clean, comfortable and spacious and well stocked with everything we needed. The layout was great for having the windows open at night to cool off with the ocean breeze. The pool was beautiful and the parking was very convenient. It was a short drive to several other amazing beaches as well as shopping and dining. We are so thankful to have been able to stay here and would love to stay here again if we make it back to Maui someday. We highly recommend staying here!

Nice location

The location of Maui Kamaole is perfect as a base for exploring Kihei and Wailea. Brian’s condo was very clean. Nicely updated bathrooms. The lanai gets the sun all afternoon so keeping the awning open is a must to beat the heat. The kitchen could use updating and better lighting. The grill (in a little pavilion in the parking lot) wasn’t working well- wouldn’t get hot. Grills at the pool may work better.

The photos of the unit on VRBO led us to choose this property for our 2 week stay. Upon entering the unit after the long journey we immediately realized the photos did not provide the complete representation of the comfort and space this property truly offers. It was more spacious than we expected. We enjoyed our stay and felt right at home. The owners responded promptly to our questions during the reservation process. We highly recommend this property. Mahalo To The Owners! Use Jerry at Tickets For Less to book your activities. Try the North Shore Zip-Line and Para-Sailing. The Iao Needle is a must visit, bring along hiking shoes and swim wear, the off path hikes are worth the small effort. Eskimo Candy has good comfort. Mala at the Grand Wailea is a wonderful dinner choice, call ahead and reserve a balcony table.

Great location, clean and comfortable

We stayed in this condo for 8 nights in December 2015. The pool across the parking lot is gorgeous. One of the best beaches in Maui (in my opinion) is a five minute walk through the complex and across the street. It is also close to many restaurants in Maui, within walking distance for our family (less than a mile). For those that love fitness (running and biking), this is also a great location. The condo was clean and the master bedroom and bath are newly renovated. The main floor bathroom and kitchen are dated, but fully stocked and clean, which met our requirements perfectly. They had free WiFi (kids loved it) and free calls to the US and Canada. The owners answered any questions we had. Pictures and description on the website were accurate. We would recommend it to friends and family and will book it again next time we are heading to Maui. Great value for the money on Maui and for Kihei. Thank you Brian and Anouk!!!

Overall nice; could use a few updates

The property was very spacious and located in a nice spot close to the pool. The bathrooms were nicely updated and large. The lanai is quiet and peaceful. A few things to note the couch was very obviously worn and could use an update, the boogie boards were unusable (no leash and crumbling apart) the umbrella was broken, two of the chairs were broken and only 3 beach towels were provided. We ended up having to rent boogie boards, chairs and an umbrella which is ok but at this rate I would expect it to be included with the condo as pictured. The ceiling fan in the living room was also unusable due to a loud squeaky noise whenever turned on. Overall it is an ok unit, and with a few updates would be awesome.

Great location and value

February 2024. We really enjoyed our stay here and it was comfortable for our family of 2 adults and 4 kids. The two youngest kids (6 and 10) slept on some futons that they had available which was better than having them on a pull out couch and they were very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with the basic supplies as well as some pantry items that people had left behind (condiments, salt, etc). We also really appreciated the beach toys, chairs, boogie board and snorkel gear that were available to use. The grounds are really nice as well as the pool area. The walk to the beach wasn’t bad (maybe 6-10 min depending on which beach). Kihei is very walker-friendly. This location worked well for us to access all the different places we wanted to see. I appreciated that this place was a little less pricey than other condos in the same area and I felt like it is a great value if you don’t expect upscale. The photos did make this place look dark but I didn’t really notice this as an issue once I was there. The back patio/lanai is really nice and big with an option for shade. This place was clean and well-maintained although we did have a bit of trouble with bugs near the end of our stay because we had brought a lot of food and there wasn’t much cabinet space to store it all. I think that is just real life in a tropical place :). Washer and dryer HUGE plus!

Mostly great!

We came to Hawaii for the first time and were happy to walk into our spacious condo. We arrived very late but were delighted to find a helpful staff on golf cart to show us to our condo. Unfortunately we weren’t in the system yet but he allowed us to proceed. When I turned on the lights in the kitchen I was greeted by many black bugs all over the counter - I learned that these are cockroaches. These are common in Hawaii but still a bit terrifying. There is definitely an issue with these critters in this condo. There were many traps all around and I got good at catching them. Perhaps having a sealed garbage can would help? Condo wasn’t super clean upon arrival and it shows wear and tear eg-lots of stains on carpet Overall we all enjoyed the space - perks - great big bathrooms, several patios, super comfy beds, lots of linens, previous renters leave condiments, spices and even liquor, beach chairs & beach accessories , closeness to the pool was superb and the property staff were lovely. Cleanliness and insect issues were the only downside. We will definitely be back to Maui! Aloha
